Lin Blanc

Love at first sniff... Again, a nice surprise from Jeanne en Provence! I own the (now) 5 scents “for men” by this brand and after Neroli Intense this is the best (the other 3 are not so great...). At first it is a Chanel N. 5 Eau Première with a male twist... it's the powdery notes in it... Very surprised (once again) to find so cute a scent at this price point. At a time when scents are all the same, and algorithm and focus groups generated, with millions of confusing flankers, it is very comforting to find a simple and very reasonably priced brand (I wouldn’t call it cheap, lest someone think it is CHEAP is the other sense...!). I like luxury as much as the next man... but I MUST have value for money... My money is too hardly earned to splurge on marketing campaigns and influencers... A must and a keeper.

A fresh, cool and clean scent like crisp white bedsheets in a hot summer afternoon. It strongly reminds me of Estee Lauder's legendary White Linen of 1978, but only fleetingly, since it almost disappears in the next half hour. Still, considering its cheap price, I suppose it's a great choice as a fresh skin scent, ideal for the office. PS, I layered it with Acqua Di Parma Colonia Pura and it's unbelievably fresh and uplifting!

Pure, clean, soapy, powdery lavender-y soft musk. Absolutely unisex. Can't stop smelling this. It smells like fresh laundry. I smell this and my mind's eye pictures me laying on white bedsheets during summer vacation, a light Mediterranean breeze coming through lace-y curtains. 10000/10

Smells like freshly ironed cotton shirt while it's still warm. Absolutely beautiful, Lin Blanc and Acqua are my favourites from this line and worth every penny.

Lin Blanc translates to White Linen and I think it fulfils that brief very well. This is the newest release within the men’s range from Jeanne en Provence and whilst it’s not my favourite, it’s definitely a step towards a more unique and interesting direction for the house. As you might expect, this scent is very clean, soapy and inoffensive. It has a bright innocence about it, like a calm Sunday morning. It’s dominated by these synthetic white musks alongside the rest of the notes which gives it that intense soapiness, however it also has a definite lactonic feel to it: a thick, creamy milky facet which is somehow both off-putting and intriguing at the same time. I enjoy this scent, I think. I really can’t make my mind up - on my skin I feel like I’m a fan of the scent profile but after owning it for a few months I’m yet to actually wear it, nor do I have any desire to. I can’t make up my mind so do with that information what you will.

Got it yesterday, wearing it today. Iris and very musk heavy. Don't really get any pear but it has a strong clean cotton feel to it right off the bat. A bit chemical in the beginning - don't go in too close - but after a while it settles and give this musky clean feel. Smells better in the air than close up. It's not creamy or sweet in any way...it got that freshly dried t-shirt cotton feel. Reminds me of a mix between Clean - Men and Clean - Warm Cotton but at a much lower price point. Even though it's marketed towards men I still feel it's very unisex. Liking it not loving it yet. Will update longevity and more thoughts after a full wear. Edit: decent logevity...could still smell it faint on my wrists at bedtime and still going on the t-shirt the day after. Still a like.

Beautiful and strange and lovely for super hot days (35C) it makes me feel cooler and refreshed. Lavender gets to shine here but also a peculiar 'bitter' opening, almost soapy, almost not - masculine but 'cold' at the same time. It wasn't love at first sniff - the first few sprays had me wonder if we'll get along. Well, giving it 10 days of continuous wear now and I just keep reaching for it unanimously over and over. Downside: not long lasting but it could be because the bottle is new and it's reacting to the heat. I'll likely purchase it again when it's over

Such a refreshing scent! Perfect for spring and summer, just perfect! I've already used before Neroli Intense which i like, so I wanted to try this one! Not a bad choice...although it is destinated to men, i can say that it is perfectly unisex! It's fresh, musky, smells just like fresh washed clothes, such a pleasant feel to wear this, like someone said 'very cozy'. If you like this kind of scents, and you do not think that are leaning feminine, please do give this one a shot! I recommend a test before buying, but when you think of the price, you can risk it!

This smells like a brand new cotton shirt, it has that new clothes smell. Unisex. If you want to give the impression of being clear-minded, unfussed and put together, try this. Cool and crisp, uncluttered. The fact that it doesn't smell like a cologne or a perfume, but rather of cloth, makes it versatile for both genders and all occasions. The coolness in it makes me think it will translate well in hot weather, if we ever get any...?

This was a good blind buy for me, very soft and clean (the pear stands out for me a lot). The dry down is also lovely, however I don't get the vanilla. I think this will be my office frag as it's end up being a skin scent pretty quickly. Amazing that is only £7!

I like this for layering with other "clean" scented fragrances. I typically use something like a white musk or a powdery scent on my skin & spray this on my clothes for the clean laundry vibe.

I was so hopeful. I'm so disappointed. The house is French but there's a definite middle eastern 'stink'. It wouldn't be such a big deal except I go out of my way to avoid this situation. I might as well throw it out.

It started very harsh and after about 40 minutes it became a very floral yet fresh fragrance. Im currently using it as of now but i will come back and give a review about the sillage and longevity.

Its really nice opens with pear, clean cotton and vanilla. Dry down shakes off the pear. Too bad about the weak longevity and sillage though.

Cotton, clean and bitter. Smells like fresh bedsheet.

Not knowing why because it has absolutely never happened before, but smelling this made me so sick, I mean really sick, the in between, the soft linen and the subdued unbearable masculine sweetness triggered my stomach and brain, and a few days later I couldn’t even stand looking at the white bottle, so it ended in the bin, very very far away from me.

First impressions: smells identical to Jovan musk for men on my skin, very baby powder-musky like. I like it although smelling up close hurts my head lol. Reminds me of kurosawa films and pianos but that’s probably just the colour scheme. I keep picturing a silent summer night with a slight breeze flowing through the trees above, illuminated by a white full moon, which is so bright that the surroundings look like they’re in black and white. Will update if I realise more depth or form more of an opinion on the fragrance but so far so good. This actually smells a bit like that American cream soda, sweet sort of ice cream-like.

ktp2309 is correct - the first minutes are a shock - yikes! Go back to it later and it smells like lavender scented white fondant frosting with vanilla. It's not shockingly sweet but smells like dry sugar and perhaps air freshener with musk and flowers. Maybe it has a retro 70s musk vibe, too. I'm wearing this one day past shipping and this is a new fragrance to the market. Maybe it needs to oxidise for many months. I am intrigued and perhaps it will be a real fragrance or maybe a bright layer to blend into another.

This is a lovely, unisex, musky lavender. It smells like a freshly laundered cotton shirt that has been air dried outside near a field of lavender and is now being ironed. Longevity and silage are not great, but I got this for about $6, so who cares. It would make a nice meditation or bedtime scent - very tranquil and relaxing. This and Verveine Cedrat were my first Jeanne en Provence purchases, but certainly not my last. High quality, especially for the price!

This is a very warm fragrance. Not light and diffusive. Its more akin to a cashmere wool sweater than linen. Powdery and a bit warm spicy in the drydown even. Still an interesting experience.

Clean and soapy musky feel. Very relaxing and comforting. I think I will also use it before going to bed.
