Privé Homme Special

Throughout my life, I have met some very elegant men. But I am sure that none of them invested as little money to achieve the high level of elegance that Privé Homme Special provides. Created by the Franco-Portuguese perfumer Carmita Magalhães for the Swiss fragrance house Firmenich, Privé Homme Special features saffron in its opening - which has nothing to do with turmeric, also known as turmeric root. Saffron is a quite exquisite ingredient, even unusual, because although of botanical origin, it can register an animalic odor, like leather - in addition to tobacco, warm spices, and a floral touch that refers to the violet note. And it is precisely this leather aspect that sets the tone for the entire fragrance as it evolves. Slightly fruity and slightly amber notes ensure that this leather aspect, and the presence of woods, never present rustic tones. Elegant, Privé Homme Special is always elegant! In the base, tonka bean presents itself in a warm, liquor-like tone, and along with labdanum, ensures a subtle sensuality. Again, elegant. Although it also brings some aromatic elements, Privé Homme Special has a moderate to mild diffusion - after the blooming in the opening - closer to the skin, which reinforces the concept of elegance. Despite the lower dosage, Privé Homme Special lasts long enough on the skin to make the best possible impression at a more sophisticated event, confirming the message of elegance.
