Peony & Blush Suede

This is my day time perfect scent: light, cozy, clean & will not offend. At work, with family, friends.. I’ve tried so many perfumes that turns completely different on me with my skin chemistry and this one just melt so well and becomes velvety. It does not come off red apple for me, it is very floral and suede on my skin. It is my signature fragrance, mostly because peonies remind me of my late mother perfume. It’s a very simple perfume with few notes, it just works so beautifully, you can’t get tired of it as it cannot get overpowering or too sweet. It’s that clean girl scent, not another vanilla or overly sweet scent. That’s the kind of perfume I want for everyday wear. I prefer complex spicy woody sultry scents for the night and if there’s a special occasion I got so many heavier scents in my collection to gravitate to. 10/10 for everyday wear year round, just not an evening fragrance or special occasion fragrance

Peony and Blush Suede has to be one of the prettiest Jo Malone fragrances that I have smelled. Its sweet and girly, but has a slight edge considering the hint of a spicy carnation in the opening and the soft suede dry down. This fragrance happens to have a a strong apple note, which on my skin lasts the whole time. It also has very pretty peony note that light and refreshing its also complemented by a slight pink rose undertone. Peony and Blush Suede is a fragrance that I find that most people who try it will enjoy. I feel like overtime it might even compare in popularity to their Nectarine Blossom and Honey. I have not tried layering it with anything yet, but I think it can easily work with a lot in their line. It very pretty fragrance that can easily be worn all year long and has great longevity too! Edit: ~Layers quite nicely with Blackberry and Bay. ^_^

Oh my goodness. I was so prepared to hate this one (I'm usually not a fan of fruity perfumes and I especially dislike the shampoo quality of most apple fragrances), but decided to give it a fair try anyway. I'm completely shocked. As soon as I smelled it on my arm, the peony and rose came through strong. They're bright, fresh, floral, and a little sweet. The suede gives it a hint of barely-there warm powderiness. Throughout the day, I kept catching whiffs of something incredible around me. It took an embarrassing amount of time for me to realize that it was me! It was the Peony & Blush Suede! Absolutely stunned. It's floral and sweet and powdery. It's fresh with a hint of something soft and warm. It is so unbelievably good. Unfortunately for my wallet, this scent is incredible. Will absolutely be buying a travel size soon.

For me this fragrance is gorgeous! This is my first day sampling it. The first whiffs after spraying were screechy and wildly unpleasant. I gave it time to settle down and it's SO PRETTY! Floral, sweet, not "youthful" and not "old lady," which suits me in my early 30s personally. I am always hunting for scents that hit down the middle to my sensibilities. Anyway, this scent is very intimate on my skin, I can smell it by bringing my nose right to it. It's lingered on the back of my hand after hand washing a few dishes then washing my hands thoroughly, so I'm impressed with the staying power. It's been hours since that first spray and I'm loving the dry down. It might read a little powdery but not unpleasant to me at all

Dress slacks. Freshly pressed navy, paired with a brown Mary Jane. Polished brass, and ornate silver spoons. In the arabesques of the handle are hints of tarnish. Take this to the dry cleaner's, won't you—bring me a cappuccino, won't you? Flirt over afternoon tea. His hands shake when you smile, and he fiddles with the string of the teabag. Buy a bundle of peonies at the street market, and carry them in your arms in the subway. Silver ballet flats. Remind your lover that you must pencil them in your calendar, because you are already busy enough. Kisses goodbye on the lobe of your ear. A murmur of a compliment in an elevator. Stand in front of a pier glass and pick what earrings to wear. Pearl.

What an amazing perfume! I got 8 ml to test it and instantly fell in love with it. It opens with a very strong, very overpowering suede note on my skin. I get transported to a garage, all old tires and leather cleaners. Such a cozy note, definitely suitable for a colder time of the year. It calms down after a while and slowly turns into a more tender, but still warm and cozy peony that is enhanced by a delicious juicy red apple. Such a stark contradiction in notes - very strong, almost masculine suede and a light, playful red apple - brings it to a level of a signature scent to me! Will be definitely getting a full bottle soon.

I often forget how mindlessly i stray from the classics like this beauty. Its just been sitting in the bottom of my drawer waiting to be discovered again. I am so glad I picked it up. The crisp apple followed by the sharp rose just satisfy something so deep within me, like i'm at an affluent garden party in the hamptons being served crumpets and im surrounded by fresh red rose bushes. It just smells so satisfying in a way that the suede perfectly compliments the rose without overpowering and taking away from the femininity of the top notes. I love how leathery it smells. I havent found anything else like this

this was my go-to through middle and high school, when i thought that anything that came in a glass bottle was more cultured than hollister or bath and body works body spray. for a teenager who had only barely stepped into perfume, it was perfect: sweet with crisp florals, and a soft musky dry-down that gives credit to its name. some dupes of this one have better longevity than the original, but it lasts nicely on clothes rather than skin. i've long since moved on from fruity and fresh, but it does still mostly hold up, i reach for it on occasion, when i want to wear something bright and uncomplicated. 7.5/10

Light, romantic, and effortlessly elegant. It opens with the crisp sweetness of red apple and settles into a lush bouquet of peony, rose, and jasmine. As it dries down, a soft, powdery warmth emerges, giving it that skin-like intimacy so characteristic of Jo Malone scents. Chilled white wine in the countryside. Peals of laughter in the late afternoon. Sun-warmed, powder-soft skin. Delicate pink lipstick on the rim of your wineglass. Linen slacks and oversized sunglasses. Crisp, sweet apple tarts and fresh-cut peonies on the table. Irresistibly British.

I absolutely love this fragrance. It is my signature scent now, cause I just cant stop wearing it. It is my daytime work fragrance. I just cannot get enough. It is fresh, crisp apple, then beautiful peony and after some time it turns into a nice powdery(?) leathery scent. The main issue is it only lasts some 4 ish hours on my skin, on clothes it lasts longer. I tried searching for a dupe that would last longer but it is just too unique I think, because i have never smelled anything like this so far. I will buy it again when I run out.

it is the perfect floral feminine scent , i adore this perfume it is very wearable every season , i'd say it's a scent where you can wear it day and night as well , if you are a floral lover this is the perfect perfume ! it's giving classy , elegant , mature and feminine in the perfect way , it's very clean and fresh as well , i can defiantly smell the jasmine , rose and peony in this perfume it is the perfect floral blend without smelling like too much floral at the same time , i'm very impressed by this masterpiece

Delicious, divine peony and apple, gorgeous flowers and fruit on the opening... And the sillage, very much "unlike" Jo Malone, you can smell the cloud around you.... Then the dry down presents this incredible fruity suede... But not in the leathery sense, it feels musky. This is the kind of fragrance that you keep tilting your head to catch the after-scent... When you bury your nose into your elbow to take a deep breath and everyone wonders what on earth is wrong with you...And you lift your face and smile!!!

I really love this. My favorite spring scent has been Ever Bloom by Shiseido, but that has ben disco'd, so I've been looking for another fresh, smooth, light, sweet but lasting floral that was not harsh or screechy. This is it. Ever Bloom begins with lotus, but this opens with sweet crisp apple. They both share a fresh sweet rosy peony middle and a soft musky dry down. Not a dupe, but maybe better because P and BS lasts all day. EDIT: I smell traces of the the soft musk on my arm 12 hours later!

It’s by far one of the most beautiful scents I’ve ever smelled. A ripe, juice-filled sweet red apple and at the same time apple cider with sparkling bubbles, and all of this is seasoned with a delicate suede-like texture. I don’t sense anything floral here, nor anything spring-like. To my nose, it’s an ultimate autumnal scent, a scent for a brown suede handbag. It has some slight retro-ish hint that nonetheless matches the atmosphere of the fragrance and doesn’t make it worse.

This is best worn between late Summer and early Fall for me. It’s so pretty! Reminds me of the month of September and new beginnings. Yet also the falling leaves and the promise of colder weather. I get a yummy splash of juicy red apple, followed by the peony and rose. There is a spicy note to this, which I am guessing is the carnation. But my favorite part is the suede. It’s soft, smooth and mixes with the florals so well. Perfect for Fall and end of Summer!!!

got this one for free in a tiny tester as a trivia prize, and let me tell you, i have never wanted to splurge on a full bottle more. its just so perfectly sweet and floaty and foxy, makes me feel like the prettiest little thing on the planet. there are very little detectable notes of peony or suede, it more just smells mindlessly sweet and crisp and sort of... pink. it just smells like the idea of being blushy and flirty and sweet to me.

Ladies and gentlemen, peony and suede of all the J.Malone fragrances I've tested, is the one I'm most likely to wear and most likely to repurchase. My my my, what a sweetheart of a fragrance! Subtly sweet peony-rose and suede are the main notes. I smell all the other notes as the fragrance develops but they are background actors. This isn't a linear fragrance, but it's not complex either. Love it, and that's all I have to say.

Today was my last day of training, and the hospital felt especially hectic and draining. In the morning I dabbed a little Peony & Blush Suede on my scrubs and scarf, and its soft, subtle presence followed me through the day. It was like a quiet whisper of calm and elegance amidst the chaos, a small comfort that made everything feel a little gentler. Trying it as a sample already makes me want the full bottle

this scent didnt wow me at first, but it very quickly grew on me! a light floral scent with a tiny twist of leather to make it a bit deeper and mature. i find myself reaching for this scent way more often than i initially expected. it is such a great school/office scent. it’s not a scent that would leave an impression, but rather something that others would just think “they smell nice” when they smell you.

A feminine and simple bed-time/after-shower scent for me. The apple brings a bright opening and stays around for about an hour. Then it turns into an intimate skin scent of soft floral profile, with just a hint of gentle sweetness. Overall, a calming scent. When I wear it, I feel like I’m floating among pink clouds made of fluffy peony petals. Quite an experience!
