In Full Bloom

Timeless Pink Tea-Rose with Peony... Although it's not a dupe of anything, this beauty has a slightly vintage leaning opening where I catch reminders of Tea Rose Perfumers' Workshop, but then transforms to a more contemporary tea-rose. Opens with a burst of rose with citrus and green nuances that blooms, developing honey, powdery, peppery and soapy facets, resting on a soft woody base with faint peachy touches that become peachier the longer it's on the skin. In the drydown, the rose sheds the citrus & green facets and takes on a whipped, velvety quality, taking you on a journey from rosebud to full bloom. This beauty is for the seekers and collectors of rose scents. Overall: Beautiful timeless tea-rose scent with well above average performance. It's a love for me. Enjoy! Update 07/11/24: This is a rose scent that really shines in hot weather. Wearing it right now and the projection is lovely and voluminous in the warmth - less sharp than in cooler weather. Still has a slight vintage lean to it but that's muted by the whipped peony imo. Definitely a pink rose, and in the heart there's also some refreshing geranium leanings as well. This is beautiful in July. I will probably reserve this rose for warm weather. Still a love.

I can’t believe the deal I got for this... $35 CANADIAN DOLLARS FOR A 100ml bottle!!! Tester yes -no box but had full cover and doesn’t say tester! I LOVE Kate spade, started with swirl and just fell in love with the rest lol so this was a blind buy buy I was fairly confident that I would love it! Drum roll please.....OF COURSE I DO!!!! It’s actually a bit different than I expected! I thought it would be a bit more green/citrus/aquatic/fresh/rose at the end but instead it’s more like green/rose/fresh/aquatic and light citrus. Granted it’s only been an hour or two ish but it’s much more rose than I expected, again not a terrible thing but it just surprised me! Lovely all the way around! I should preface my review by saying that rose is my favorite perfume note and I love this scent for that reason. That is exactly what IFB is, pure undiluted rose. Its not dewy but it shines like it was freshly picked. I suppose the lemon is there, as zest is in a recipe, to enhance but never to be individually detected. This is by no means a citrus scent not even in the dry down. Because it is so purely rose, I do enjoy layering this scent with others in my collection. Nice with aquatic scents and other florals. I love to spray it in my hair and on my neck in the spring and summer. Absolutely one of my favorite roses and a bargain gem I hope I never have to part with. 🌹

I really like this! It is a gorgeous, fresh pink rose, complete with a touch of green from stems and foliage. It is soft but present. Sillage and longevity could be more, but I have a feeling this is something that you wear for yourself, not for others. I have been hunting for a Rose scent that doesn’t turn make-up-y on me and this fits the bill. If you like roses, I highly recommend you check it out. I can’t precisely say what makes this so good on me, but I keep smelling my wrist, and that makes it a win. Again, the only downside is longevity is minimal, only about three hours on my skin. I’ll try it on clothes later and see if it lasts longer.

I’m am shocked by the ratings on this? This is not weak at all, I always wear very strong scent like Beautiful, Passion, White Linen, Eternity. I only wear heavier scents, that being said this last for over 24 hours on my clothes and has great silage. This is not weak at all it’s actually stronger!! It’s a rose dominant perfume and I absolutely adore this and I don’t like rose scents but I love this it’s GORGEOUS❤️ Happy Sniffing!

Very pretty realistic rose with lots of green notes and I get a historia of an aquatic vibe but not a lot. Maybe the roses here are in cold water or there's water nearby and lots of greenery. Very fresh, but without being citrusy-fresh or sports. Is it revolutionary? No. Is it good quality and we'll executed especially for the price point? Absolutely. Rose lovers, give it a whirl.

Divine. Smells as the accords say. Green, rose, floral, fresh, ozonic, woods. Reminds me a bit in a less rosy way of chopard felicia Rose's. I can also see why someone put similarities to leau Disney florals, Right up my alley, lasted 11am to about 6pm ish on top of my wrist. Cool spring weather today

I like this a lot. This is a pink fairy rose still on the bush. It is not sharp to me or musky. It’s just a delightful pink rose. More modern smelling than rose oil to my nose.

One very pretty floral with some other nice touches. I like to wear it as a daytime fragrance through spring and summer 🥰

Today was my day to deliberetly test perfumes that I never try for whatever reason. When I first sprayed this one, I was in love! It is spring time with roses and peones in full bloom - and this perfume was it! I was in the garden packed with roses and peones, and it followed me through the store. I sprayed some on my dress and my arm. It’s been 4-5 hours and I can barely smell it on my arm, I can still find the spot on my dress where I sprayed. It smells like green rose now, still very pleasant. But honestly, this is not the perfume I am willing to spend all that money on. Also, I couldn’t wear it every day, rather on a day when I feel like wearing a flowery dress. If I saw a 5ml bottle to buy cheap, I would go for it.

This is a ROSE perfume. "Roses in bloom" would probably be more fitted as rose is all I can smell from this. Think L'occitane rose hand cream. At the beginning it's fresh like l'occitane Roses Et Reines EDT. It's very similar to a large bouquet of freshly bloomed red roses X3. Then it gets a little strong and heady. It's rose from head to toe, not much else there. You might want to stay away if you don't like rose or can't stand slightly dated perfumes. I still like it, but I won't need much of it. I think a roller ball or an 1oz bottle would be enough for me.

I normally really struggle with rose perfumes and never managed to find one which I truly like. I only smelled it from the bottle, as I had already sprayed something else. It is definitely "in your face" kind of rose, but I found it really gorgeous. Smelled like I had a bouquet of freshly cut pink roses under my nose. It genuinely smelled like a real rose flower not like a perfume-I guess what other people describe as green. I am decided to go back and try it on my skin and see what happens. Who nose maybe I finally found my kind of rose scent.

This should go without saying, but if you hate flowers, do not buy In Bloom! It actually smells like you put your face into a giant bouquet of flowers. I smell lilacs pretty strongly, in addition to rose. I do not smell any fruits or green notes at all. I like it, but fear that it would be too overpowering to wear in public. The bottle is absolutely gorgeous, which brings my rating up a couple points. My rating for Kate Spade in Bloom is 7/10.

The first time I tried this it faded within three hours. It lasted longer today but it does stay Closer to the skin then I would like. It starts off with sharp green notes then transforms to Rose. However, there is some sort of aquatic note in this. Almost like dew on rose petals. Otherwise, it’s not a very complex scent. It is pretty, and very pleasant, but like other reviewer’s I think and after bath splash would do just as well.

I get rose petals, peony and watery greenness. Then more peach in the dry down. It smells real, not like something you are supposed to smell. It's like when you are standing somewhere outside and the air is fresh but it's a mix of the things around you. I am surprised to like it so much because I usually don't like rose scents - they are usually dusty and musty to me. I am really glad to have a rose scent in my collection now.

I stopped by Dillard’s yesterday to try it again. The store assistant told me that 80% people recoil from it when sprayed, it is so much in your face. I was really surprised. It does start strong and green with lots of bloom. In about an hour, I only smell the green. Maybe the bloom is still there and I just can’t smell it. I still like it. I will layer it with Stella Stella to keep the rose scent for longer.

I bought this as a blind buy at either T.J. Maxx or Marshalls and totally disliked it the first time I tried it. I loved the bottle though, so kept it around. Today, about 10 months later, I have tried it again and I have a totally different impression! This really is a delightful rose scent, and it's fairly strong. I'm very glad that I didn't toss or trade it!

Scent memories are often deceiving...Issey Miyake Florale is nothing like this—a green rose paired with lotus. It was good, and the rose surprisingly realistic, until the aquatic/ozonic nuances became bothersome.

@jay.shouse is RIGHT! IFB is a beautiful, strong scent that lasts for hours. I sprayed it on my cardigan and could still smell it the next day. IFB is a very green rose, the greenest rose you've ever smelled. :)

for rose lovers. it's rose....and rose. sharp at first then softens but it's still rose perfume. I would not wear this in closed environment but for Spring and Summer days and nights would be fine
