Oudgasm Tobacco Oud | 04 Eau de Parfum Intense

My Kayali Oud Collection came in. I watched every single YouTube video and NOTHING prepared me for what I actually smelled. I wanted to know if a person wasnt into oud, should we be afraid of the collection. These are all classic Kayali DNA fragrances. Those who are typically underwhelmed with Kayali, you'll be underwhelmed again. Kayali lovers will find happiness once again. These are all BEGINNER friendly ouds. The black bottles werent necessary. They are all soft skin scents. These are crowd pleasing and nothing is off putting even if it isnt your cup of tea per se. My favorite is Vanilla Oud. They honestly didn't even need to call it oud bc you cant detect it at all. Its a soft pretty dainty skin scent. Is it groundbreaking? No! Does it need to be? No! McDonald's isnt extraordinary either but they are still #1. I want a full bottle of the Vanilla Oud. Kayali is famous for their vanillas and they nailed it once again right here. Tobacco Oud: This is my 2nd favorite and I also want a full bottle of it. It sort of reminds me of a baby Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille. Although this one has supposedly the most intensity of oud, it's still a very elementary level of oud and very safe to move product for the masses. The opening isn't that great but the mid is addictive and the drydown after 2-3 hours is a baby candy sweet vanilla with lace and glitter femininity. Cafe Oud: Im a coffee fragrance lover. I own Delox from Tiziana Terenzi. I love the coffee in Bond No 9 New York Nights & New Haarlem. I also love the coffee in Followed by Kerosene. Cafe Oud unfortunately missed the mark. It smelled stale on me. Not an old stale smell but something that just recently went stale. Rose Oud: Im not typically into rose so to no surprise this didnt work for me either. I would imagine rose ppl would appreciate this one. I do like the rose in the new Carmina by CREED interestingly enough. Kayali gets both a lot of love and hate. (That's what happens when you're on top!) I am a Kayali fan. Strong, warm tobacco. Fresh leathery saffron. Florals, Oud. Once I read honey, I totally smell it. That’s at the top keeping the tobacco sweet. It does disappear by the mid. Clove is present to give it a warm spice. I’m a big fan of Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and Oud Wood. This combines those main notes into something unique. So many are marking this as masculine... I’d agree it does lean just over unsex to slightly masculine but not in a way that will stop me from wearing it. It’s unisex enough that I would still label it unisex. There is a sweetness but not as strong as Vanilla Oud. It’s keeping the balance without swaying it gourmand. It’s subtle enough that I wouldn’t be able to pinpoint each sweet note/accord. The tobacco is so strong that it’s the main thing you’ll smell and drowns out the other notes. Overall, it is a strong, long-lasting unisex fragrance that is best suited for fall and winter. It has quite a luxurious feeling, so I would choose it for going out.

Update**This is addicting layered with Vanilla Oud. I cannot stop wearing this combination!** I am a bit surprised how much I enjoy this fragrance. In my opinion, this is the most masculine but it has a sweetness/softness to it that makes it addicting/enchanting. To my nose it’s soft but heavy at the same time. It almost plays a trick on you. It’s the strongest, longest lasting out of the collection. I kept smelling my wrists...I was intrigued/slowly falling in love. I love this fragrance and I am happy to have the mini size but I would prefer to smell this on a man. To make it more wearable for me and my preference, I would layer this with Vanilla Oud!

This is such a yummy tobacco scent. It's definitely unisex. I get that almost fruity tobacco note that's in Tobacco Vanille. Despite that, the 2 are very different scents. The honey note is quite noticeable with saffron and clove, giving it something somewhat spicy. I don't feel like this is a heavy oud. The oud is there, but it's in the background. I adore this fragrance for cold days. It creates a scent bubble to keep you warm. If you like tabocco dominant fragrances, this is worth a try. Longevity: 7/10 Projection: 7/10 Overall Experience: 8/10

Sooo so so gorgeous and intoxicating. This is my favourite from the Oudgasm line, closely followed by the rose. This reminds me of TF Tobacco Oud which is discontinued and I've been missing it ever since! This is more feminine tho, slightly. Clearly I am in the minority but this scent profile is amazing and so me<3 I would wear this every day I find it so sexy, edgy, and it just blends with my chemistry so well. The performance is EXCELLENT!

Just pure honey and tobacco! Sure it has an ever so slight oud in the background, but it's mainly just honey and tobacco. The tobacco is more prominent, unlike in other popular honey+tobacco fragrances out there. Some may say it's a maple like tobacco similar to the dry down of Amouage's Royal Tobacco. Great performance overall, both in terms of longevity and projection.

This reminds me a lot of one of my favourite perfumes, Christian Dior Tobacolor. Tobacco oud is on the same wavelength, just a touch more masculine, and the tobacco is a bit more prominent. Tobacolor is sweeter. Imagine an ashtray and honey but in a really nice and comforting way. My favourite out of the bunch

It is an incredible tobacco fragrance! The tobacco in here is like the note in Red Tobacco but not as harsh. It's very complex and deep. If you like tobacco fragrances you will LOVE this! I have a sample and it went right onto the BUY list. I cannot say enough good things about this.

Easily my favorite of the bunch—this one I love. Sweet tobacco with a slight spice. Good lasting power. Addictive. If you like unisex tobacco scents, it’s worth checking out.

This one is the one I thought I would like the least and it's actually my favorite from the Oudgasm collection! It's definitely sweet but to my nose I get a 75% wet tobacco and 25% dry tobacco blend with praline and a subtle citrus bite. Smoky with a beautiful vanillic base. I adore it! I love sweet fragrances, I just don't enjoy wearing them.. does that make sense? but this one is magnificent! Performance is fantastic. It's the 2nd longest lasting from this collection, vanilla being the one with the best. I think this is unisex. Some women might think it leans masculine but I could also see some men thinking this leans more feminine (because of the sweetness). Perfect for fall/winter. Day or night. 👍 Update: after wearing this all day, my scent memory was picking up on Opus XIV – Royal Tobacco by Amouage but a much wearable version!! 🤯 (it's a good thing because Opus XIV was waaaay too intense for me)

The most masculine leaning of the Oudgasm collection. Even though I thoroughly enjoy the scent (love a spicy tobacco note), I probably wouldn’t wear it on its own. However, it does great at toning down my too-sweet perfumes that would otherwise give me a headache, and giving them a wonderful depth. It’s quite a magical tool for reviving fragrances I otherwise wouldn’t touch. 2025 edit: I’ve been craving tobacco scents lately, so I started wearing this perfume on its own, and I like it more and more each time. It sure packs a punch! I can’t pinpoint the individual notes, I just know that the blend really works for me.

I'm still learning to enjoy tobacco perfumes. I own tobacco vanille by Tom Ford and jazz club. Tobacco vanille is by far the dryest and strongest of the bunch. Tobacco oudgasm is a great "beginner" tobacco perfume. The white honey saves it from becoming too deep or dirty. There is some sweetness and feminity to this one. I like it. A great fall perfume. Fall perfumes are my favorite! So if you are looking to dip your toes into the world of tobacco perfume, this is a great place to start!

The best out of the collection. The tobacco note is prominent but without the dried fruit in TFTV which makes it younger and more unisex to me. In the other versions I’ve tried I don’t get much oud but here it is prominent but not aggressive. It’s rich and warm and spicy. I don’t even get a hint of citrus or plum but for me that’s a plus. My favorite from Kayali and I’ve tried most of their frags.

Well, well, well...finally a Kayali which lasts. I put this on my wrists before bed and could still smell it clearly in the morning. It’s a sweet honey tobacco, which I quite enjoy as a sample, but not enough to buy a bottle of. It’s a weak version of a Middle Eastern oud, perfect for people who wish to dip a toe but not take the plunge. Commercialised and pretty, but not a blinder.

This one really surprised me! I get a really nice bright citrus in the opening and some soft vanilla and sweet tobacco along with the oud. It's a lot softer than I thought it was going to be and has given me the opportunity to explore a scent profile I don't have a lot of experience with. The performance is nice with 6+ hours on my skin and a moderate projection.

Tobacco Oud isn’t quite to my taste—there’s something in the opening that doesn’t sit well with me. However, the dry down is surprisingly lovely and much softer than expected. I’m hoping to get more use out of it by experimenting with different layering combinations to bring out the best in it.

Oh, so many wonderful notes listed but does not translate on the skin. Initially it opens up with some promise and intensity but quickly becomes a slightly heavy tobacco mess. I really expected more from the house of Kayali. I adore so many others from their range. Tobacco, honey and cloves are the 3 most prominent notes that I pick up. It reminds me of the waft of a jacket an older man who smokes heavily would smell like. Very vintage as well and not for everyone. Unisex definitely. Will try to soften it with layering of other fragrances in my collection. I might add the vanilla oud and see if that gives it a friendly tone. Do not blind buy this new range. 5/10

I like how playful this fragrance is, Love this sweetness of the honey, it can be perceived as gourmand but the complexity of the Oud and burning sensation takes it on another level, very Sexy. Would wear it for a date night, or a special occasion around winter, almost for Christmas.

This is a sweet tobacco fragrance but don't expect any other note on the skin bar a little bit of orange and saffron. The tobacco style is the same used in Invite Only Amber but it leans very masculine.
