Mankind Legacy

I was so disappointed with this at first. I thought it was so boring and too much of an alcohol blast on the first few sprays. Decided to test it again the next day, and it smells incredible! It is a very light scent, kinda generic/familiar, but there's something unique about it. Maybe it's the rosemary or balsam fir that sets it apart from similar fragrances. Not sure, but I am in love with this scent right now. It seems perfect for spring. Not sure how it performs yet, but I don't have high expectations based on the style of fragrance. I would assume maybe 4 hours or so. I'm so glad I bought this. Update: Have had a chance to wear this a few times now. I really enjoy this scent, and the longevity has been surprisingly good. Even after an 8 hour shift, I still get whiffs of it with just 3 sprays. The scent reminds me of Guess Man, but this ones seems like better quality to me.

KC Mankind Legacy is really beautiful. Though not a clone of anything in particular, it has very close similarities with - Mr.Burberry EDT, RL Polo Blue, Polo Deep Blue(and as a result with Armani's Acqua di Gio Profondo too). In fact it shares the best traits of all these perfumes I felt. Feels very fresh, aquatic and with some green mango of Polo Deep Blue (and ADG Profondo). Worth buying if you like any of these great blue ones. Perfect and safe for office use. Didnt feel much similarity with ADG or ADG Profumo though. And it doesnt feel synthetic but is quite classy. Not a beast mode fragrance, but with 6~8 sprays the projection, sillage and longevity is pretty good.

This is just wonderful. It's one of the most refreshing fragrances I have ever smelled. It's super airy, clean, spicy, citrusy, and woody. I also get a coriander note, although it's not listed. This would be good on any occasion, but best on hot summer days, and the price is worth it. For $17.75, it's wonderful. Beats more expensive fragrances like Invictus and Versace Pour Homme. I will report back on longevity.

One of my favorite warm weather cheapies. Citrus at the opening which drys to woods and vetiver. I get the Light Blue and Versace Signature comparisons but this has more citrus up front. Might remind one of Versace Man Eau Fraiche at the opening but less sour. Performance is very good considering the price which...at $20 or under it’s a steal.

A perfectly pleasant fresh citrus-woody. Style wise, it's reminiscent of Versace Pour Homme, though not meant to be a clone at all. It's surprisingly sweet at the initial spray, almost a little sour, but in a pleasing way, but it dries down to something still pleasant, but a little more basic. The performance is pretty terrible on me, which is to expected, but is still a little disappointing. I like to smell it a little bit throughout the day, but I have to overspray to get that. I got it for about $20 on eBay, which is a worthy price for it. Overall a nice, under-the-radar scent that probably deserves to be a little more noticed than it is. For what it's worth, I've gotten a fair amount of compliments from it.

Like others have mentioned, the opening is everything for this fragrance. It is a bright, ultra fresh smelling, light citrus opening. Unfortunately after the first 10 minutes, it settles to a more generic smelling freshie. That being said it remains a quality smelling, versatile fragrance that is perfect for the workplace. I can understand the comparison to Versace Pour Homme, while they are in no way clones, both have a similar vibe/style and would be used in the same situations. The citrus, sage and amyris are the most prominent notes to my nose. 7/10- Scent 5/10 -Performance

I expected this to be more boring than it is. It's a decent, safe scent. On paper it does smell a lot like Acqua Di Gio, but on my skin, it shows some individuality. It's like spraying a mandarin-scented cleaning product in an open forest on a cool but dry spring day. Moderate longevity, it is skin scent after around 5 hours but it is not totally gone. Projection is moderate as well. I have dry skin. Middle of the road, a great gift for someone who is not normally into fragrances, or perfect for when you want a mild, fresh scent.

Aquatic, floral, and citrusy with a mild soapy vibe in the mid. A little heavier than ADG, and a bit greener. ADG is more oceanic/salty, while this is more fresh like a lake. Nothing new here though. Safe for the office and as a blind buy/gift. Good scent for both young to old men...some women may even like it as a gym scent. Definitely worth a look when it hits discounters.

Smells good but nothing unique about it. Safe for any occasion. It smells like dozens of other aquatic designer brands. A 3 oz bottle is worth spending $15.00 on to keep in an office drawer in case you forget to wear something better.

Smells like Claiborne's Curve Wave. Different notes, extremely similar smell.

Mankind Legacy is woodsy, spicy and slightly aromatic. I received this fragrance from my Yellow Diamond as a Mini gift set of various brands and fragrances. This one being the least expensive of the bunch. I never owned a Kenneth Cole frag neither was driven to seek one since is not a famous house for their fragrances. I have used this as an after shower scent for the fresh and clean feel. To my surprise I began to take a liking to this scent because of the wonderful citrusy opening that lasts about an hour indoors. The pungent mandarin with the clary sage and nutmeg create a wonderful short lived aroma. Then the pepper, fir and woods takes over the duration of the scent . After my mini bottle finished I purchased a full bottle. Yes I've acquired a new 100 ml bottle. I just love that opening so much, I had to experience it again and again. Although I wear it sometimes during the day it is at night after the shower that I enjoy this beauty. If you are debating getting this just do it you will love the opening a lot. If you love fresh clean and do not mind poor projection go for it. What can I say some openings are just fantastic.

Blind bought this one here based on reviews. It opened so beautifully with a citrus and nutmeg blast. I mean that opening is really wonderful. Now where it turns for me is the dry down. This fragrance goes into a a woody vibe like your in a forest after a heavy rain. You get a sort of sweet woody vibe. This is different that most woody type fragrances I own. This one actual smell like a fir Christmas tree with oak and cedar. This isn't by far a bad fragrance, it's me and being used to so many fruity fragrances that this one has a mature level I wasn't ready for. Of course I'm going to wear it more to get me used to this type of woody fougere. As always! Try it for yourself, everyone has different DNA!!!

BRIGHT FRESH CLEAN SLIGHTLY-GREEN SOAPY AROMATIC After smelling KC Mankind Legacy and Nautica Voyage Heritage side by side, they're basically the same fragrance composition; they both have the same color liquid; they both open alcoholic, and dry down to the same bright fresh clean slightly-green soapy aromatic smell ; (KC Mankind Legacy being a pinch more airy, and Nautica Voyage Heritage a pinch more soapy, other than that exactly the same); they both even have the same light projection and 3-4 hours longevity. Update: You can throw Vince Camuto Homme Intenso in with KC Mankind Legacy and Nautica Voyage Heritage too, but VC Homme Intenso is more woody & last longer.

Received a variety pack of 3 small Mankind bottles–The OG, Hero, and Legacy. Out of those, the Legacy is the most pleasant. It has a brighter, fruitier tone of the bunch. All of them are just OK. I would not purchase a full-size bottle.

#149 in my "Tour de Fragrance", and here again is a Kenneth Cole scent that's cheap, smells great at first, and has no staying power whatever. Part of the problem is there's really nothing distinctive about it and you kinda become nose blind to it in a few minutes. It's a very run of the mill woody/spicy that you've smelled in every counter cologne at the Men's Wearhouse and similar retailers. Initial spray smells great, but it just has no projection in a matter of minutes and is a skin scent in under an hour. Eight sprays on skin and eight on my clothing and minimal projection in minutes, none in under an hour. I'd pass this one by. Inexpensive and still not worth the money.

An Acqua Di Gio Clone in 2019? Really? Top and mid notes on this are basically ADG. About an hour in, the drydown departs slightly from ADG bringing in vetiver in place of patchouli. Outside of that, it's a dead ringer for ADG, and not the best clone of it either. Projection is poor and longevity is abysmal. About four hours at best.

A more soapy and spicy Acqua di Gio. Not totally my cup of tea, reminds me of of Irish spring soap. I like the opening notes better—it’s more complex and spicy. Dry down turns it into a flat citrusy soapy freshie. Not horrible though! Good gym scent.

Goes on my skin as a peppery and typical citrus aquatic male scent, but dry down is fairly pleasant combination of the same, with smoother woody notes and citrus. I do like it. I am female, but it's a nice clean brisk feel on anyone.
