Flower by Kenzo Poppy Bouquet Eau de Parfum

Skin testing. I didn't expect Poppy Bouquet to smell like this and to like it so much ! It's definitely a fresh floral fruity, but unlike others in the category, floral notes are dominant. The pear note is fleeting and dies out only a few minutes after spraying, and although the scent is somewhat sweet, there's nothing even remotely gourmand about this fragrance. Nothing nutty either, this isn't a typical almond scent at all. It's a happy and youthful white floral with a dose of rose and some fresh green base notes. Perfect for Spring and Summer. The pink color fits the scent perfectly. The gardenia note combines gardenia and jasmine, and is intoxicating on my skin. I sprayed only once on my wrist, and I could smell it clearly even through my mask. It's really lovely and I can't stop sniffing it again and again. It stays strong for a couple of hours, and goes more and more quiet until it fades after about four hours, leaving a faint trace of jasmine and patchouli on skin. I love Poppy Bouquet. I believe I'm getting addicted to it already. Update : this fragrance evolves completely differently on clothes, and in a weird (although pleasant to me) way. The opening is very sweet and the combined pear and almond notes strongly remind me of strawberry. Strawberry fades after about 3 hours and reveals a sweet white floral base with patchouli that smells strangely familiar. The woody base is strikingly similar to the "wolfwood" note used in Mugler Aura, and the sweet jasmine note is a softer version of the jasmine note used in Alien. After a full day on clothes, Flower Poppy Bouquet smells like a much softer Alien on a lightly earthy base. I can now see how this is a polarizing fragrance for some, but I personally love it. I layered Poppy's dry down with Alien and these two get along very well.

Gorgeously soft, cottony scent. I was disappointed with longevity the few last times I wore it but I pulled it out again after some 6 months and it's been 6 hours since I put it on and it's still very easy to pick up still. Those times I was out in the sun and now I'm in an ac office, maybe that's why. Powdery gardenia with a tinge of fruitiness from the pear. A Jammy-pearness, but not really acidic or pectiny, if that makes sense? You can almost smell the pear grit. But it is still definitely a second player to the gardenia. It's reminiscent of generic scented laundry detergents or softeners. Not revolutionary, but something about it is just so nice. Confidence boosting almost. Very "pink". Don't know how to elaborate, it just makes you think of the colour pink lol. The sprayer is really nice too, gives you a mega fine spritz, and has this weight to the trigger, which makes application extra pleasant. Soft, soft, soft. If you know jumpluff from pokemon I feel like this is kind of what they would smell like loool.

It's an intoxicating scent. I can't leave it, I just keep sniffing all day. Poppy Bouquet is floral fresh scent, a little bit sweet. It's different with the original Flower by Kenzo, it's much more fresh and the rose it's not over power. If you do not like rose, you might tolerate Poppy Bouquet,,, the rose isn't noticeable.. It's also has aquatic vibes. The nashi pear and the gardenia make Poppy Bouquet different and lighter from the original Flower by Kenzo.

I love this so much, it ́s floral but also very sweet, gives me carefree spring vibes. I got a sample from Sephora and didn ́t think much of ir since I ́m not a fan of the original Kenzo Flower but Poppy Bouquet got me hooked. I can ́t wait to buy a full sized version Edit: My brother told me I smelled like play doh and now that's all I feel when I smell this.

realy nice ... its sweet ... soft ...and something not all perfumes smell alike.... for all year around. Weak longevity..but no one is perfect ;) its not almond at all -but a almond tree smell.. sadly the tree note is to dominant.. I cant handle real almond smell..so this is for everyone who feel the same :) the sprayer is wonderful distributing the scent

This one is GORGEOUS. This is a perfume I picture *Gigi Gorgeous* wearing at a Summer evening party. (If you know who that is). She would enter the night with a luxurious cloud of smooth sweetness. I have no idea why I made that association, but that is the association I make. I would love to smell this on a lady.

I smelled this in store and sprayed it on, it's gorgeous and delectable, as good as the original Flower but completely different. I'm going to have to go back and get this one for sure, I have been smelling my wrist non stop since I tried it on. Super pretty!

I’ve never been into Kenzo perfumes and honestly this Poppy Bouquet smells rather generic – just like stepping into a perfume shop: the aroma is a bit powdery, a bit floral and very...perfumey! It reminds me of Black Opium Neon (and Irresistible, to some extent) and all in all I find it pleasant. As I said, it’s a bit generic and pretty much in line with today’s trends. Gardenia and nashi are the main notes, but everything is rather indefinite so much so that it turns into a perfumey perfume, if you know what I mean. The performance is moderate, perhaps a bit on the heavy side when just sprayed. - - - Update Oct.24 2021 - I find it cozy, almost soapy, let’s say Palmolive almond & milk at its finest and with a fruity touch.

It's really bright and uplifting but there's also an addictive creaminess to it. Although I don't see any lactonic notes, it is listed as one of the main accords. I also smell a slight smokiness, perhaps it's coming from the almond tree note? To be honest I don't think that the notes listed match the scent that well. At first, it smelled like other perfumes I've smelled before (I was disappointed the first five minutes), but give it a moment and it develops into sexy creamy goodness. It's different from the original flower by Kenzo, I think it's more modern, less powdery, and more milky while still staying true to the Kenzo DNA upholding it's uniqueness and quality. It's another great release from Kenzo. <3

wow another flower flanker winner :) this is a really nice easy to wear scent......its very light & airy - rather ethereal ........its a scent u can wear day or nite but its def a perfect daytime scent...........as far as seasons go i would say its a lovely springtime perfume.........light enough for summer too :) longevity is moderate & silage is more close to the skin as opposed to a beast scent the pear gives it some sweetness & the gardenia & rose is very light & quiet........the almond smoothes it out :) perfect scent to wear to a garden party - an outdoor spring event - or a wedding ...........its light sweet quiet shy & feminine ..............keep on spritzing u cant overdo this scent :)

Light floral, slightly sweet. There's a bit of warmth and softness at the center where the almond (and a little bit of milk) comes through. It's a pleasant scent but a bit too subtle for my liking. Safe to overspray. EDIT: Starting to really like this fragrance! The lightness is refreshing and the sweetness uplifting. I enjoy wearing it and smelling it around me. :)

This is an incredibly delicious fruity floral with a warm woody base. The fragrance is light, fresh and clean. The sweetness is subtle. If you like fragrances like .. Chanel Chance au Tendre but are looking for something with a better silage and a lower price point, I highly recommend this underrated gem.

I just got this and I'm in love! I love floral scents but I struggle to find florals that smell good on me and/or last longer than 2 hours. But I hit the jackpot here. It's a gorgeous sweet and simple floral perfume that doesn't smell like a grandma. Lasts for about 6-10 hours on me.

It's Spring and Fall perfume. You may need wearing serval times, because the aroma is different than others not matching instantly. Need time grow relationship with the perfume. The bottle very beautiful. I suggest try 10ml travel size first.

I have tested this one recently. The fragrance felt rather strong as I first sprayed it on my wrist, so one has to be a bit more patient for it to “open up”. In the end, I liked it. I do like fragrances with lactonic notes.

This is a fun, youthful, crowd pleasing scent with a lovely floral base. This can be worn all year-round at any time of day and has this sparkly aspect to it that I’m really enjoying. Kenzo I was not aware of your game!

This perfume is AMAZING! It smells so good, the scent reminds me of baby powder . On a nice breezy day I would not mind to smell clean and fresh. It is a very strong perfume and I am glad that I bought it.

This is really nice. I'm testing a sample, but to my nose it has the same vibe as 'miss Dior' the EDT flankers you know something like that Not necessarily special but quite nice

Light, floral and fruity scent! I like the pear note here. Innocent, easy to like. Delicate and feminine! Gardenia and pear with the good balance between floral and fruity notes.

It is really lovely, fruity-fresh, slightly sweet scent. Elegant, feminine, youthful. The only con is that it doesn't last long.

More modern and lighter than the original flower. Almond and peony makes it a feminin scent.

To me this smells like a lighter, spring version of Roberto Cavalli’s signature perfume.

Light and pretty, but nothing groundbreaking. The original Flower is very different.

Juste simple and harmless, nothing spécial but not bad.

It smells really common and general. I am not sure if thats just because a lot of people wear it so more chance of exposure leading to familiarity or commonness. But it just smells like another paper perfume that you put in your bag or some hotel soapy sample you receive at the airport. It is generally white floral with fruity vibe and soapy tint. And later sits down as woody almond feeling. Nothing bad but nothing outstanding to me either. And although the package and the name suggest color red, the smell definately isnt any red. its white.

I bought this perfume because It did smell nice when I first tried it at the duty free shelves but when I actually use it at home it's just plain FLORAL and POWDERY to me, nothing quite special about this perfume. Anyway it's not bad...just not recognizable. The lasting is quite ok for 4-6 hours on me but when it turns to close range skin scent it smelled like baby powder even more. Absolutely not everyday use for me and the price I paid isn't worth something quite this general in my opinion.

I really like this smell. It is light and pretty but at the same time unique. The only thing I'm not fan is it's longevity. Even when I put lot of it, I can't feel it after hour or two. Bottle is beautiful, but for me (since it's more parfum for day), I would need too many reapplications, and for this price I feel like there are more long lasting options.

Since l'absolue I have been looking for another love of my life. Sadly, all other flankers are just too weak for me. All I get is a faint flowery smell. Luckily I only got a sample. Please try it before you buy it.

Nashi pear come to meeee...powerful opening, I adore it (my husband hates it😁)...then it's a pleasant inoffensive gardenia perfume...no almond detected.Nice but forgettable.😑

I was expecting something similar to original Flower by Kenzo, which I like, but this is completely different fragrance. Kenzo Poppy Bouquet has very sweet fruity sticky top notes, somehow it reminds me of Armani Si Passione. It has same juicy fruity opening, just peachy rather than Si pineapple. It dries down very quickly to white floral and later woody scent, kind of a very gentle version of Givenchy L'Interdit, there are no vanilla notes though but it smells very alike. Has no strong sillage, needs a top up after 3+ hours, same as Flower by Kenzo. If you like sweet fruity juicy fragrances give it a go, sadly it's not for me, smells like many other perfumes on the market, no wow factor or unique scent.

This, to me, smells exactly like My Way by Armani and Givenchy's L'Interdit, both of which I didn't like, and so I don't like Poppy Bouquet either. Grape-y florals, cough-syrup sweet. I know that there's an audience for this kind of scent and I suppose I wouldn't totally hate smelling this on other people, but I wouldn't wear it. I feel like I'm coming off way more aggressive than I intended, but I'm just really not impressed with these new releases recently.

Test in the store yesterday. I’m not into fruity scents and this one was all about pear. The dry down was much better, the usual powder of the kenzo flower, but sweeter, well done. Interesting flanker for fruity lovers, without being overly sweet. I still prefer eau de lumière and eau de vie.

w o o d y & a q u a t i c Nothing like the original. I mainly get woody aquatic notes, it reminds me of Jo Malone Sea Salt And Wood Sage and Light Blue Dolce&Gabbana. However, it is long lasting and projects well.

This looks amazing! I cannot wait until it comes out Update: Bloomingdales and sephora quit selling kenzo and the new kenzo store at my mall doesnt carry perfume. I've no idea where I'm supposed to get this.

LOL....It is named Poppy Bouquet, but why are there no Poppy notes? Hmmmmmm, seems like an odd name for a perfume that has NO Poppy in it? With that being said it is a very pretty, creamy, lovely, sweet fragrance. Longevity is good. Sillage is greater than arm's length. It is very pleasant and wearable for all types of occasions. Warning...it is pretty sweet. Fruity sweet to be more precise. If you are not a lover of sweet I would not blind buy. It is not an instant love, but it is really growing on me. It is for now a huge like! I found it full bottle worthy after wearing it for just a few minutes upon testing.

I'm surprised how much I like this. It's fresh and uplifting. Doesn't bother me at all (I'm sensitive to smells). The rose isn't obvious (which is good as I'm not into rose-heavy perfumes). This mainly smells like the gardenia and nashi pear, and the dry down is the almond tree (whatever that mean? what part of the tree?) - that part is lovely, btw! Because this is such a light (not weak!) scent it fits any and all occasions - perfect for daytime, but you could also wear this for special occasions. Versatile. Very nice! I'm not sure if this is a 'love' for me, but definitely a big 'like'. I could even imagine owning a whole bottle of this. (Even though look-wise I've always disliked the Flower by Kenzo bottles)

This one is another pleasant fantasy (poppies do not have a ‘floral’ scent), and IMHO, bears very little resemblance to its predecessor. Briefly I would say that the OG is more classic, and this one is more modern. Consequently, this one is more musky. Its powdery accord is subdued: it focuses on the green side, with emphasis on a slight bitterness (provided by green tea and mandarin). In addition, its sweetness is a little glacé (fruity) as well as green, adding a delicious freshness to the warmth of the flowers. Its woodiness is soft, but the musk adds depth and boldness; as it dries, it becomes a bit cosmetic, probably due to the creaminess of the cedar wood.

I must say I really like this perfume! It is pretty, it is fresh yet there is a warmth coming probably from the almond wood, the flowers also add their bright vibe..it is overall floral, but done with some interesting nuances..it is fresh, and warm, and has some depth..I just wish maybe the longevity had been better, but I spray to my heart ‘ s delight, as the scent is so much like the colour of the juice, happy., spring time, luminous, really liking it !, I personally don’t like almond scents, but this doesn’t smell like almond at all.. it is a bit powdery but not much..real happy with it.!,,

Not sure why my comment vanished, but I am glad to find one review where the almond smell is not obviously present. I just can't handle almond or heliotrope for some reason. I'll definitely try to find this one as a sample and report back. EDIT: Finally got the sample and unfortunately, it's a pass for me. It doesn't smell bad, but the dry down is far too plastic/new Barbie doll smelling for me to stomach. I'm assuming it's the almond blossom note giving it that plastic/doll smell, so I've come to the conclusion that almond of any type and I are just not destined to mesh.

I have yet to find an almond-based fragrance that I can stomach (almond/heliotrope makes me physically sick for some reason), but this looks interesting, especially since I don't see any hated notes in it (other than the base note of almond tree, which might smell better than actual almond itself I hope). Hopefully, this will come out in Ulta or Sephora where I can smell it or reasonably priced samples will come out soon.

I got a sample of this because my friend has a bottle of it and I fell in love with the scent. It's so fresh, floral and slightly fruity in the best way. Nothing too suffocating or overly sweet. No powder in there either. Still need to test the dry down, but so far it's a favorite.

It’s very well-made and smells expensive. Can’t pintpoint any particular note, though. If you like Mon Guerlain EDP, you’ll probably like this fragrance - not that they smell any similar, but they do have similar slighly sweet, powdery and expensive-smelling base

It must be disappointing to create an all new scent choosing ingredients and then it smell just like other fragrances totally different. It resembles Olympea by PR. Then all sweetness go away, staying a green almond note like in couture Eliee Saab.

To me, this smells like a grown up Britney Spears Fantasy. I seem to be the only one getting this though! Maybe just my nose? It's pleasant. Full bottle worthy? Eh. We'll see.

My favorite fragrance right now. It is so amazing and floral!. You do need a few sprays to get it to reaaally smell but other than that its sooo creamy and it feels edible!!

So disappointing! The notes are beautiful but this fragrance smells like every other mainstream perfume! Way too sweet and synthetic and sharp!
