L'Eau Kenzo Pour Homme Hyper Wave

Ultra fresh, very youthful fragrance. Great for hot days. Really pleasant uplifting scent. It reminds me a little bit of CK One. I'm really liking it Sometimes it's hard to put your finger on exactly why as its not groundbreaking, but it's quite an addictive smell and I think it'll do well in the heat. I love orangey/mandarin fragrances and this does that note really nicely. I don't personally find this all that "aquatic" as in sea notes. It's more that the mandarin comes across juicy and watery. So far I really like the way Kenzo does freshies.

So simple but good! Opens with a burst of seawater and mandarin. Just showers you in it, almost feels like being hit by a... Hyper Wave? Then that aromatic segment of mandarin mixes with the moss to create a juicy almost candy like mandarin smell. To me it almost smells gourmandy, like a mandarin orange just waiting to be bitten into but it does this almost completely without sweetness.

I think the current rating is too low - 3.74 ... Personally I would give it 4.5 rating. It's fresher smoother, more white floral/watery version of Versace pour homme. It's like 70% similiar to Versace pour homme but this is summer only whereas I find Versace more versatile. It smells very simple and quite generic yes, but it's also very very nice.

It's better than the original, mostly because it's more simple. There is this sweet and fresh opening that reminds on paper like shower gel, but on skin more like a youthful smell. It's unisex, not that it's feminine or masculine, but because it's so inoffensive and easy to like. Currently totally digging it.

Pleasant light and fresh scent. Surprisingly good. Worth a try if you need a new fragrance for the summer.
