Biscotti Date Toffee

I've been trying to expand my horizons and try unusual and different scents, stuff that's completely different to what i'm used to or have already. So i've been looking at some gourmands and found this gem. This is really strong on first opening, monster room filler off 5 sprays and lasted hours on fabric with strong sillage and projection. Inferno in a French Patisserie selling roast coffee would be an apt description. LOVELY stuff Its way out of left field for me to wear a scent like this, but wear it i will, damn the consequences My nose gets a beautifully sincere and photorealistic dark espresso, no cream, with a side french breakfast pain au chocolat caramel/croissant/brioche drizzled with vanilla toffee. I don't get any dates or amber. Its French coffee (indisputably the best in the world folks) with a fiery sweet caramel/toffee and a bit of orange with vanilla as if it needed anymore sweetening notes! Its got a slight booziness to it too, almost like Baileys Irish Cream. This gives it an edge i adore and makes it more male friendly. Gotta say i love this so far but hope it settles a bit as its really in your face new. a really happy scent and a good blind buy. recommended for true coffee lovers and people like me who have a scentgasm whenever i walk into a french patisserie. UPDATE...a month later this has got a lot darker and heavier in the drydown especially. Its strong and after a few hours it loses its sweet gourmand starting point completely and goes for hours as a dark, heavy incense type of musk....the basenotes are highly masculine. This is great for me personally, but its something you girls may want to bear in mind before blind buying. Basically it starts feminine/unisex and goes for hours as a dark manly musk. Thats what it feels like to me anyway. Its lovely stuff and i'm really happy with my purchase. Its France in a bottle for me. This scent is highly evocative for me of travelling and French pavement cafes, grabbing some breakfast before hitting the road again. It puts me sat outside any street cafe in France, with the warm July sun just coming up and the Tour De France race news on the TV by the coffee machine, with that delicious uniquely French smell of the morning pastries and bread being cooked fresh in the ovens of kitchens and cafes in the air all over town. Gorgeous. 7/10 from me UPDATE 8 months later and this stuff is still potent in the extreme. Somehow its not settled down or grown more subtle. It's very strong in longevity with massive projection, one of the strongest scents i own. You only need a couple of sprays with this, its incredible how tenacious and powerfully this fills the air, at first especially. go easy on the trigger, its an absolute room filler. It makes my house smell like a cafe with pastries in the oven. Awesome potency, great value, it will probably take me 20 years to use this 100ml bottle up. A Chernobyl gourmand. Its pretty linear and flat but always a pleasure, like sitting in that cafe for hours.

Boozy sticky toffee pudding / highland toffee with a hint of coffee, both of those descriptions fit this perfume very well. In mine and my mrs opinions, this leans more masculine. She has caramel pop which is definitely leaning more fem, but absolutely delicious, this is also absolutely delicious make no mistake but it's darker and more masculine leaning in comparison. I can imagine a woman of colour/darker skin complexion pulling this off well actually, but in my opinion it's more masculine for sure. Performance fresh out the box is amazing. Can smell it strong many hours after and thats the first few sprays out of the bottle. Not even matured any yet. Beautiful. The two out of the biscotti range we own, khadlaj has absolutely smashed it without a doubt. Instantly up there with my favourites.

you can't possibly find a better deal if you love the scent profile. it literally took about 2 minutes to get a compliment after trying it, because my sister brought her kids for me to take care of them soon after delivery from Notino. it was the first question she asked, what is that? meaning, you are likely to get compliments from other women with this. that and the performance at this price is just insane. I bought it for 16.80 on Notino, that's crazy.

Some say that it smells like candle wax, but it is the perfect dupe for Lush Sticky Dates, and you can't possibly find better, especially at this affordable price point. Gets me compliments, beautiful and photorealistic, and lasts a while, with good projection. It's edible toffee and a hint of vanilla caramel. Definitely will buy more bottles after mine runs out.

Just received this and first test out of the box and I know this is going to be one of my go to fragrances over the winter, sticky dates with a dose of coffee, this fills a room with the heady scent, smells so sweet and thick. Now that projection and beast mode does not last more than 10mins or so and then it drys down to a caramel toffee. I’m going to put this a way for a couple of months to maturate and hope the longevity improves. This is what I’ve been looking for, something sweet and loud. The coffee note in this is what Lush sticky dates does not have.

I dont usually like the gourmand ones usually (especially Bianco latte type) but I really liked the coffee opening in this one so I had to get it. Sprayed on my hand in the evening and I can still smell it in the morning.

Has a really strong alcohol opening along with the coffee and caramel. Reminds me a little bit of a Baileys coffee liqueur. Dries down really nicely though. Smells mainly of coffee though.

it smells like burnt caramel sauce on a fudge

Makes me want to throw up. Definitely not a blind buy. Not for women unless you love coffee in a gross manner. This perfume does not have a hint of coffee.... It's like smelling on a coffee toasting machine while drinking a sugary burnt coffee!! It's harsh, overwhelming, too sweet and bold. I usually love sweet gourmands but this one...! It was an instant big Nooooooo for me. I wonder what's wrong with my nose cause unfortunately I can't find any good in this fragrance. I will let it set in my wardrobe and see if someone can stand this perfume better than me. I truly dislike it Edit: It's been a little more than a week since I opened the bottle and it's changed so much for the better. I don't feel that unbearable sharpness I use to feel. Five minutes after spraying it gets more caramelly sweet but the coffee note is still very strong. I don't think I'll keep it but I just wanted to advice whoever likes BDT that this fragrance needs maceration before being judged.

This is one of the most edible and mouth watering gourmand ever it smells so sticky sweet and delicious.......... This is a extremely powerful and strong perfume I can smell the sticky toffee pudding or toffee candy with a hint of coffee from the cap and omg mindblowing I don't smell any orange or so maybe a tiny bit mix with the dates or so ........the notes maybe different but this is accurate to the description Dates and toffee or sticky toffee pudding. Or toffee candy. This is exactly the smell ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ my new fav Smell. The opening smell verry much like toffee candy with coffee in the back or a sticky toffee pudding. Verry beautiful opening 10/10 But the dry down omg mindblowing 10/10 😍😍😍 Projecting is extremely strong and powerful 9.5/10 Long lasting 10/10 The best perfume yet

I finally have this amazing beautiful and extremely edible mouth watering gourmand ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I could smell the cap all day long when it hits me at first I was blown away how good and delicious this smells It's like a delicious photorealistic edible gourmand It smell like a photo realistic toffee candy or a sticky toffee dates pudding The name is accurate to the smell ofcourse date/toffee.. eventough the notes sounds different. It make sense 😊😊😊😊😊 This beautiful new perfume is also extremely powerful and strong Go grab it if you want to smell like a sweet photo realistic toffee candy. Or a sticky toffee dates pudding 🍮🍮🍮🍮 amazing amazing 😍😍😍😍

One of the most edible gourmand of gourmands ever this is just so amazingly delicious smooth sticky sweet 😋 😍 👌 😀 🥰🥰😍😍😍 I am verry impressed.....it's all what the names says on the description date/toffee It's smells like this beautiful photo realistic sweet toffee candy/pudding with dates and coffee ..even though the notes sound different also the orange note is wonderfully it add a hint of citrusy in the opening This is all dates and toffee hmmmm my mouth is water and the drydown is cheff kiss 💋.... Smell 10/10 Projection 9/10 Long lasting 10/10

Another amazing creation. This is similar to Sticky Dates, but better. Sticky Dates is more caramelly. But Khadlaj Date Toffee is more complex with several notes that reveal themselves towards the dry down. Khadlaj DT is more grounded with amber, dates and sugar notes. This is exceptional. I barely smell the coffee (it is not heavy). Lush SD may benefit from a coffee note to balance the sweetness. Finally I don’t have PAris Corner Date Caramel to compare, but you may not need both in your collection. I will update with longevity.

It has coffee 🤮 So many of these gourmands have a coffee note in them. Stop it. Not everyone likes coffee 🤷
