Lé Prestige Royal

I absolutely my despised this when it first arrived. It was bitter and dark, and diwnright confusing because it was nothing like Hibiscus Mahajad (which I own). I nearly threw this away or gave it away. Fast forward a few months: I’m utterly in love with this! I’m so glad I hung on to it. It has sweetness like HM, but has more of a powdery edge to it, where HM feels more like a lite syrup. HM has more tea to it, and this has more rose. I actually prefer this to HM. The longevity is just adequate. Nothing spectacular- 5-6 hourss for a light spray.

This is a phenomenal fragrance. So fresh and clean and grown. I own Hibiscus Mahajád so i had to buy this and they are about 95% the same. The original is slightly more potent and this is a little more florals but no hibiscus and less minty which makes it more lighter but most people would never tell a difference. This is still a long lasting fragrance that projects very well but not as potent as the original but for both longevity and projection id give it 8/10

I have both Hibiscus Mahajad and this and I gotta say this thing slaps. 95% similar, the only difference is its not as floral but exact same dna as HM. It is not as powerful though and sticky like HM but I'm going to let it macerate and see what happens. For 20$ this is a steal.

I’ve never tried hibiscus mahajad but i don have ibisco Nirvana and this is very very similar to that one! The only difference is that this is lighter and not as powerful. Ibisco is a BEAST! Way more potent and powerful! This is a far more subdued version of the same scent.

This is one of the strongest and longest lasting fragrances I own and I love it. I don't need a second bottle as one bottle is a life time worth of supply.

I'd say this one is 90% there in closeness to Hibiscus Mahajad. It's missing the minty-ness and the airiness of the hibiscus note that's in HM. I layer it with my BBW Peppermint (Christmas) lotion to get a hint of the mint note, and also SDJ 68 or the Sparkling Hibiscus Mix:Bar body spray and I get close enough to HM. The leather and rose note are the most prominent in this one, and the gasoline note that was mentioned by another reviewer does dissipate in the dry down, but he's right, it's very strong. My little layering combo always gets me compliments by the pool which is where I feel like I'm not choking folks out because this one is definitely beast mode. Not as beast mode as the original though, that one sticks to you for days. This one fades a bit as it dries down, but it is nice if you give it 15 minutes to settle onto itself. It's a sexy, balmy, leathery rose scent that is perfect for laying out by the pool because you'll still catch whiffs of it even after lathering on sunblock, and even after a dip.

First sniff was that middleeastern dna. A little disapoitned I kept on going. 2 weeks into my ownership I can smell an oily petroleum smell. This is not a turnoff though. As I drag my nose along my hand I also pick up the very realistic cedar with some old leather car seats. It is not a sophisticated perfume, its slightly crazy actually. To give you a better picture -> I have been out clubbing all night in my leatherpants and its hot and humid. As I wander home I get lost in a subtropical forest. It starts to rain and I can smell ferns, moss and soil mixed in with my sweaty leather pants. I can still smell the rain om the concrete from the city and the cars. Somewhere in the forset there is a garden wet from the rain but I can not deistiguish what flowers that smell. Maybe gardenia, maybe datura , maybe ylang ylang and definatily a deep dark rose.

This is the absolute best smelling clone of the original I’ve ever tried. I tested this for days and comparing to the original. Every damn time I thought I was smelling hibiscus mahajad, I was smelling Khadlaj. Damn good job! 99% close I’m not kidding! Longevity wise: I got 10-14 hours with a moderate projection. This is insane. Cheap and whack bottle cap tho.

This is an excellent flowery and sweet perfume. It opens up fresh and floral and settles into a delicate and delicious sweet smell. Fortunately I can't smell the mint in it, at all. Not much projection and becomes a skin scent within 2 hours but it stays on skin and it is sweet and dreamy 💚

Had mine for 7mo now and it hasn't changed much. I get rose and leather. I don't get any mint. On me this leans quite feminine because the rose is so prominent. Not blind buy safe, best reserved for cooler weather.

Not gonna lie. I’m a little disappointed. I’m getting gasoline like I get in Ajwad Pink. Must be the leather. I will let it mature and report back. I’m a fan of Island Extrait and Fursan White, so was surprised that this one is rough. I wasn’t a fan of Rifaqaat either when I got it, but I enjoy it now and that has leather that was off putting initially so hoping aging improves this one. I have never smelled Hibiscus Mahajad, but when I read about it, it seemed like something I would like so I’ve been waiting for a deal on a dupe. Edit: It’s been maturing for 4 mos and the gas smell is getting more faint, thank gawd! I’m starting to kind of like it, but I still don’t think I’m ready to give it a full wear!

This stuff is amazing. I was a little bit intimidated by the notes; I thought it would lean more masculine, but no—it's the perfect fruity floral, extremely well blended with no notes overpowering the others, perfect for spring and summer. Wow, I am impressed. I have previously sampled Hibiscus Mahajad and Hibiscus Magic (a dupe). I liked them but wished they were less sweet. Recently, I watched a review that mentioned this fragrance is a less sweet version, and I agree 100%. It is softer, more feminine, and easier to wear than the original.

Does not smell like HM at all to my nose but still a nice scent for really cold weather. Not blind buy safe, not your crowd pleasing scent.

This perfume has very little to do with Hibiscus Mahajad. HM is a gorgeous scent that keeps on magically evolving its top, middle and base notes. Hibiscus is beautifully prominent, fresh, intoxicating. In Le Prestige Royal, the rose is the most prominent note, it reminds me much more of Lancôme Trésor than HM. There is also no hibiscus, so it doesn't have that fresh and sparkly note - it is rather "dull". The combination of so many different notes results in a disappointment. The scent is not bad, but it's not great either. And it is definitely not a dupe of Hibiscus Mahajad. Lovely box and bottle, though the plastic top and base of the bottle make it feel cheaper than what it is.

I’ve got hibiscus mahajad plus the other dupes. This to me is lighter, leans a little more on the citrus side. Very fresh and long lasting. It’s not the best dupe one to one dupe to me but it’s more daytime friendly and feminine. Khadlaj make great quality fragrances and this is great in its own way. I’m currently on a second bottle of the OG and don’t want to buy a third anytime soon so I will save the OG for nights out and occasions. The main difference to me is that le prestige royal is lighter, airier and leans more feminine. For a near one to one dupe check out RIIFFS league premier. I think it's only fair to rate how the dupes smell against the originals some people have never smelt the original and say the dupe is terrible someone might actually they are generally describing the dupe. I think it's only fair to comment based on percentage or how close it is to the OG especially for the people getting the dupe instead of the original. Having said all that. I truly love Le Prestige on day one of wearing it.Its close to HM but with a powdery twist with less hibiscus which I sadly love. It projects and longevity is great. Can't wait to wear it along the way as it macerates. I'll keep on updating my review

This is a dead on dupe for me for Hibiscus Mahajád Maison Crivelli. It’s about 98% close. This is so beautiful and stunning. Was shocked when I got it. I was not disappointed.
