Grey Point

I have both boss bottled and the intense. Grey point to my nose sits between the intense and the OG. It’s more synthetic but it’s really not that bad for the price of $18.

To me, this one is a dupe of Boss Bottled, but it smells more deodorant like. It doesn't smell cheap but cheaper when compared to Boss Bottled. Do you know what I mean? Anyway, it is a nice fragrance for this price range. If you don't want to spend too much on the Boss Bottled, buy this one instead.

Nice, cheap, does the job. Is it the same quality as Boss Bottled? Of course not, you pay between 5 and 10 € for this bottle, so don't expect the second coming of Jesus. Stays on my skin for around 6 hours, projects in the first two hours.

horrible, synthetic mess trying to be boss bottled

I tested La Rive Grey Point in stores multiple times and its actually a good clone of Hugo Boss Bottled EDT. Certainly better then the Lidl clone (Xbolt i think) which reminded me of stale beer that sat at the bottom of the bottle and has gone bad. I own the original Hugo Boss and its not a strong fragrance in itself. It does last longer then the La Rive for sure but even the original isn't something to write home about. La Rive lasts about 2-3 hours and if you really like the scent profile and want a fragrance to spray on when going to the grocery store or run quick errands its a great ultra cheap clone.

Greetings, Some of La Rive offerings are better than others. This is the case with this one. By far this is not the ideal copy of Hugo Boss (bottled). Lidl has a great analog, for virtually the same price that is nearly impossible to tell apart. Bi Es has a slightly better, yet lighter interpretation also. This is not terrible, but somehow La Rive managed to replicate Sweeter scents better. Their pepper notes are good. I don't know why, but there is a gap in terms of quality when it comes to their products. This is bearable, but not a proper substitute.

I agree with Sniff away. If you want a really cheap Boss Bottled dupe - get the G.Bellini X-Bolt from Lidl. I can't stand this alcoholic mess. La Rive, you can do better.
