Her Choice

This La Rive is so new, I was surprised to find it here in the US to buy so soon- and extremely pleased because I have a sample of My Way and love it, but can't afford it yet. I can't swear they are 100% identical smelling but they are close enough my nose can't tell the difference... and it might be one of La Rive's better performers. They put it in their "Medium" line (there are Classic, Medium, Premium and Prestige, which I assume all correlates to level of quality/intensity) so take that for what you will; certainly I could still catch whiffs of it several hours later on both my skin and my clothing. I won't need to but I would buy it again, that's how much I like the scent and the performance of it. For a La Rive, 8/10. I picked this as a gift for my best friend a year or two ago. I was new to fragrances with no clue of notes, brands and such. After trying maybe over a dozen perfumes in a Rossmann store, I smelled this and was like "Woah, this is good!" After giving My Way a try upon learning that Her Choice is a dupe of it, I can say that they smell extremely similar, and I actually like Her Choice more. This perfume is very sweet and floral. First it smells fruity, then it dries down to a bouquet of flowers while still retaining the fruity sweetness. I honestly love it. It sadly doesn't last very long but hey, it's only €6 for 100ml. Just spray more lol. If I were to personify this perfume, I'd say it's that one friend that you can always rely on. She is sweet, caring, youthful but also elegant. She is an amazing person. Even if we go our seperate ways, I'll respect her choice and continue to admire her from afar.

OMG ..... Even after reading all the reviews, that this is similar to My Way, I bought it thinking that there must be noticeable differences. But NO there is not!!! This is the same. Unbelievable. I'm flabbergasted. I have never come across a dupe, there is SO identical to it's expensive designer counterpart. How is this even legal 😅😅 But hey..... Consumer win win 💪👍🥳🥳🤩🤩 Follow up ...... If I have to pin point a difference, Her Choice is a bit more aggressive right out of the bottle, a bit like "in your face", and perhaps a bit on longevity. My way orginal, has better staying power. With Her Choice, you need to reaply. But for that price (I payed just under 7€ for 100 ml) you can reaply all you want 🥳

To my nose Her Choice is 90% - 95% identical to My way by Armani. If you smell them side by side you can tell small differences like a bit more red berry in My way or Her Choise going to the dry down quicker. But if I smell them a day apart I don't think I could tell you which is which. A 30ml bottle of My way by Armani is usually sold for 71-83 euro (in my area) which is a steep price for a sweet bubble gummy perfume that has ok performance. A bottle 100ml of Her Choice I can find for 6 - 8 euro so less than a tenth of the price for more than 3x the amount of perfume. I don't think I will re purchase My way when I run out and will stick with the much cheaper dupe.

I tried sample of Giorgio Armani My Way and I like it, but I was not in a financial mood to buy it. I heard some girls talking about La Rive and how good it is, but I was skeptical. Then I saw in the same perfume store that it was on Sale for only 5eur so I bought it. Oh boy, it is so identical to My Way, you can't tell the difference. It last long, smell nice. I definitely recommend this one. Big bottle of 100ml for only 5e, on my skin it lasted about 4h. So it's a good buy. Also, I tried other La Rive dupes and fragrances, but I didn't find them special nor good dupes, yet very weak. Only this one is a Gem!

Honestly, this lasts pretty good considering the price! I sprayed this on at home (a little overspray, ngl) and I could smell it so strongly almost the whole day! Your body heat definitely has something to do with it, as I was feeling very hot all day due to the weather lol - the hotter the skin, the better it lasts, honestly! So it’s sooo fitting for spring and summertime. Considering the scent itself, I don’t even think buying My Way is worth it. Not that it isn’t good, but it’s not special in any way tbh, it smells like a body mist to me and not a perfume. Just get Het Choice!

If you're in doubt about buying this, don't. The perfume has a strong, summery, floral and surprisingly fruity scent which is perfect for everyday use as well as casual dates. The scent is heavy enough to be noticable in a crowded room, but not enough to give a headache or overtake anyone's smelling abilities. I've had it for 8 months and it's still half full! Totally worth the price and loved by other ladies. Perfect for anyone who wants to smell sweet, youthful and be the personification of a flower field.

Crazy that someone can say this perfume is over priced! It’s literally 6€ in Germany for 100ml strong hold & sillage, definitely a dupe for a high end but I’m not sure which perfume, it is giving in the GIVENCHY L’Interdit family, probably sister to it. I sprayed each in each hand and could hardly tell a difference! In fact often I gravitate towards this rather than L’Interdit. This is such a good perfume for very little money if you have it in your drugstore pick it up, however 25€ reselling price is crazy.

Wow! Can't believe this is La Rive. It smells like a sweet and fresh bouquet of flowers and I've never gotten this many compliments from people. Even men have randomly told me I smell so good when I wear this. This perfume won't last long though and I have to spray more than usual for it to be effectful but it's so cheap so that's ok! Lovelovelove. I even wanna smell it on me when I go to bed cause it's so yummy. And usually I'm a bit sensitive to strong smells when I'm gonna sleep. This is so good!

Muitas pessoas sentem dor de cabeça com esse perfume, pois ele é idêntico ao inspirado o my way, ele dura horrores na pele, na roupa simplesmente não sai, e exala por horas, ele é uma delícia, um perfume que ao mesmo tempo que é fresco é super intenso, considerado feminino por motivos que desconheço, já que usa quem quer, mas pra pessoas que não suportam perfumes doces, fuja dele, o final dele é super adocicado.

I first wrote a very negative review but after just 8 days and some sprays the fragrance has changed and its so nice! Its very sweet but in a comfortable and clean way. Yes, it doesnt have the depth of the real thing, but often I find them to be way to intense. This is a nice and easy to like scent that can be worn by anyone. It doesnt smell cheap, and will not bother your soroundings.

Great hit! For €8 you get a sparkling, warm fragrance. Sweet but not too much, very feminine and nice. It's Othello grape juice in a perfume bottle! And I adore the Othello grapes, which are full of the aroma of summer and wild strawberries. The price-quality ratio is more than excellent! A great perfume that I will enjoy wearing on warm days.

It lasts forever on me - wonderful bergamot mixed with orange blossom and some delicate jasmine - perfect for neverending June evenings🥰 I do recall testing "My Way" (to which this is compared) and not being overly impressed... Perhaps they share similar DNA but "Her Choice" seems to blend way better with my chemistry - hence my impression.

Foi meu primeiro La Rive. É docinho, mas não enjoa percebi que não minha pele não projeta, mas gruda na roupa. Não agrada a todos minha irmã ama bombas doces e esse ela passa longe, estou no meu segundo frasco e comprei o My Way por conta dele, testei o floral e achei idêntico. Espero que o Armani projete mais.

This smells like black grape candy in a bottle. I used have scented pens as a kid and i loved the grape one.This reminds of that. Also this a very good dupe, I like My Way better but for the price and 95% similarly this wins!

I don`t get it: Why is sweet not listed in the main accords and bubblegum not listed in the notes?!? This is barely a floral parfume!! Nevertheless, I love this! Girly, pretty, feminine, classy, dressy, youthful!

This perfume smells expensive, clean. I feel like I smell caramelized black grapes, my husband feels the same way. I think I will wear it in the summer. with a cute dress.

A princess fragrance Sweet but a floral sweet, when it dries down it reminds me of smell of new clothes. It last moderate, but in the clothes stay longer.
