Nine Dragons

I blind bought this perfume and body lotion plus body oil because I love Kulfi from this brand. On my skin this smells like lemon cake, not too sweet with tea. I smell zero incense, musk, or woods notes and I am unsure what pink lotus smells like. Arizona is surprisingly cool 70 degrees today so this perfume layered with the body lotion lasted 3.5 hours becoming a skin scent after the first hour. Kulfi lasted much longer on me but I always wear that perfume over the scented oil so that could be why. I’ve worn this perfume in 90 degree weather and it only last about 2 hours. I love this lemon cake and tea scent so I plan to wear it to bed or to relax. It is pleasant, leaves a nice scent trail the first hour, and it won’t choke anyone sensitive to perfumes. I recommend it to gourmand lovers who want a tasty scent that isn’t sickeningly sweet.

I bought this in a rollerball years ago at an arts market in SF, CA. It remains one of the most unique and absolutely pleasant scents I've experienced. It's crisp, sharp, and bright, but the incense notes bring such a "cool" and down to earth feeling to it. I sometimes just pick it up to sniff. I've been sparingly using and cherishing my tiny bottle of it like the One Ring, but finally bought it in the EDP tonight, so had to revisit this page and leave a review!

really fun, complex green floral with depth, great spring/summer moment. more like a japanese incense than an indian incense, lighter and less musky. when i wear it there's a slightly sharp, tart note that i wish was more subdued, but a longtime favorite nonetheless.

Nine Dragons opens with an aroma that smells like an amalgam of freshly bent plants, where you walked through a field and the greenery brushes against your legs. It has a wanton wild plant smell that settles into a lemon verbena, also known as vervain. Botanical Nine Dragons is inspired by the dragon representation in Chinese mythology. Cosmic Chi energy and good fortune. Lemon verbena is widely used to impact energy and hormonal balance in holistic medicine, so using it here is befitting. It has a natural appeal that is calming and healthy. Lemon verbena is one of my favorite herbs to grow, smelling of citrus when the leaves are touched or bruised. The verbena is balanced out with subtle additions of wood, lotus and tea that reinforce the feeling of being in a wild garden, filled with overgrown herbs. Lovely . . . and I can always use good fortune! Lite sillage, good longevity.
