Dream Of Haze

FIRST IMPRESSION: I just got this one, and it kinda reminds me of the Le Male Elixir DNA. Even from the note breakdown(Cinnamon, Lavender, Artemisia, Amber, Tonka, Patchouli), it shares shades with Le Male Elixir Absolu. I haven’t smelled the original, but Dream of Haze smells way better than some alternatives I’ve tried or own, like Lattafa The Kingdom and Arabiyat Prestige Habib. The honey, tobacco and tonka are more noticeable here(especially honey)—something The Kingdom fails to interpret properly. I’m still testing this one, and once I’ve studied it thoroughly, I’ll drop a full review. For now, I find it very addictive. It isn't just straight up Le Male Elixir, it still does its own thing. Also, the quality and blending are superb. That said, I’m a bit disappointed. I was expecting a different kind of fragrance since I already own the two mentioned earlier. Still, I enjoy this one, and I’m hoping that, with time, it develops even better. But my theory is, this is Lattafa's response to Afnan's 9pm elixir. I love these competitions among middle eastern fragrance brands... 👏🏾 Edit(18th Aug): Okay, this is beginning to become less le male elixir DNA and becoming more Herod/Stronger With You Absolutely. This is a very good fragrance. The tobacco, patchouli and cinnamon are blended to perfection with mint, lavender and Artemisia supporting it at the background. Edit(20th Aug): This is a very incredible fragrance. A masterpiece! This doesn't really smell that much like Le Male Elixir DNA, it's more like Lattafa's take on popular tobacco and ambery fragrances like Side Effect, Herod, Naxos and maybe something like The most wanted DNA.

This is a great blend of of sweet, amber, herbal, floral, vanilla and spicy aromas with prominent notes of cinnamon, lavender, vanilla, green tobacco, fresh patchouli musk, incense and powder. This will likely remind you of JPG Le Male Elixir Absolu and Afnan 9 PM Elixir if you have either of those. This is a great date night and social occasion fragrance, and it works for all ages. While unisex, this is likely to be far more appreciated by male users and female users might find it leans too masculine for their liking. Performance is quite good. Presentation is stunning, though the double boxing is wasteful considering it's headed for the recycling bin. Great stuff here. Highly recommended.

@Yourperfumebuddy: that pic you submitted for Dream of Haze is EXCELLENT! 🔥🏆👍🏿 Now, back to regularly-scheduled programming: Mine arrived just a couple of hours ago, and, I did my usual routine: spritzed 5 - 10 squirts, then, put it away to mature/macerate further. Usually, I'll wait before giving any type of opinion/input about a fragrance, let it develop, see what it might turn into. But, this one, I can jump the gun, because, a few things are evident, right from the jump. Usually, I'll do the spritzing in one of the back rooms, and, go back occasionally, see how quickly it might/might not be dispersing. If I'm lucky, every now & then, one of the fragrances will be strong enough that I'll be able to get whiffs of it in the front of the house. After spritzing Dream of Haze, I had to make a short run to the store. Not exaggerating one bit, when I got back home, as soon as I opened the door, Dream of Haze was right there, strongly present & accounted for!💪🏿 So, I can pretty much pass judgement that Dream of Haze definitely has STRONG sillage & projection, even before any maturing that might happen. And, in case the other reviews haven't already said it for me, it is also a very attractive, excellent fragrance, as well. Price, bottle (that bottle, y'all!), fragrance...I'm gonna have to rate this one very highly!🤎🔥👍🏿

Nose Note #838 I remember when this was just added to the database people immediately thought this was going to be another Mashrabaya (Kilian Smoking Hot), but it's nothing like it. This is basically another JPG Le Male Elixir-ish release, but damn, this is so good. I have Lattafa Kingdom, but this is just better. It's stronger in every sense, and it just feels like a better quality fragrance absolutely on par with JPG. This should get much more hype. If you like Le Male Elixir - this is probably the best choice. I haven't yet tried Rayhaan or Rasasi's takes, but just look at this bottle... How can you beat that? It's also giving me Armani Code Profumo vibes. I just love it. This was totally unexpected. I wasn't so blown away by Kingdom, but this one is a step up. Caramel-like sweetness (but it's not gourmand), the mint note is definately there, but it plays a second role, as does lavander, and a lot of cinnamon peppered on top. I get no connection to apple shisha like in Mashrabaya. 9/10, I'm not big on sweet scents, this is a rare occasion when I really like it

Dream of Haze opens with a burst of fresh mint and an apple shisha accord, then takes a more playful and seductive turn in the dry down, settling into a perfectly unisex scent profile. The sweetness in the scent is balanced by minty aromatic elements and warm notes in the base, making it sexy, inviting, and easy to wear especially for nights out or when you want to be noticed. I think the projection is solid, and the longevity easily pushes past 8 hours, making it a reliable choice for long evenings. Personally, this is one of Lattafa’s biggest unisex hidden gem. The bottle and presentation, inspired by a hookah are really chef’s kiss as we say. I give this a 10/10 for both the scent profile and bottle design. It’s a must have for perfume enthusiasts, and I would highly recommend it for your collection.

Oof. This is good. I don't want to ever run out of this bottle. Opens up prominently minty, but the slight smokiness & the juiciness from the shisha accord keeps it from being sharp & volatile. I found the mint too masculine leaning initially. Once it warms on the skin, the mint softens. The tonka and amber come out and lend some sweetness and body, but the mint stays giving it ventilation and keeps it from crossing cloying territory. It does give a slight hookah vibe😂. It makes me feel I'm floating in the air when I overspray. This fragrance is a journey through a dream of haze indeed. I'm all for it.🤭

This is a great fragrance. Fruity-sweet tobacco layered with vanilla and spices and some patchouli. I am not sure why I get tobacco, that well-cured spicy cigar before you light it scent, but I do. Lovely scent. It projects very well leaving a strong scent trail about 4.5 hours. On skin its 9 hours or so for me.

This is a masterpiece! It’s definitely unisex leaning just a bit more masculine. It’s so warm and comforting! I can definitely get the cinnamon, lavender and vanilla with a little incense vibe. This is staying in my collection and I can’t believe the price for the quality! Definitely niche vibes love it!

Strong fragrance. Radiates for 4 hr upto 2 feet. Great value for money. Very warm fragrance only for cool nights or winter.5-6 sprays are enough.

I recently bought this one, it has a very fresh warm spicy smell, and its very likely jpg elixir absolu DNA. I dont know yet how long and strong it projects. But the smell is very good and less synthetic. I will come back after macerating it and leave my review

That apple dhisha and mint make it unique, love the opening though. Unique bottle in my whole collection. Love the profile, its like middle east jpg elixir.

So i just received a sample, it's not bad but its very mediocre. Right away in the opening it resembles 9pm dry down, then it slowly goes to 9pm elixír territory. I prefer 9pm elixir. Maybe i'll post an update later if It will grow on mě.

My first impression was that this is a brother to 9PM Elixir but a tad smokier. I get the mint, Tobacco, apple, honey and tonka. I don't get any patchouli. Still testing....

This is identical to Afnan 9pm Elixir. They’d be redundant to own both. Afnan may have better longevity, but not by much. Just go for whatever bottle you prefer, or price.

I want that little hookah bottle! Love the Apple Shisha in there, that was always the flavor of choice when we'd visit the hookah bar in college. FUN!

Yooo I just smelt this side by side with the D&G the one pour homme and I couldn’t tell a difference. This is a banger

On my skin it's like a lighter, fresher, all season Mashrabya mixed with D&G the One scent. Addictive blind buy W!
