My experience with Lattafa Masa has been rather peculiar. I initially purchased it upon release and later sold it at the same price due to its disappointingly weak longevity and minimal projection. However, I was quite fond of the scent itself, so I kept an eye out for a good deal on auction sites. Eventually, I managed to buy it again at nearly half price. The most interesting part? This new batch turned out to be significantly better in every aspect. I even tested the previous batch before packing it, and it remained consistently weak, so it wasn't a matter of aging. A fragrance of rare allure, presenting an unusual blend that feels both familiar and ethereal. Masa has one of the most intriguing openings among all the fragrances I've tested. Throughout the day, I find myself reapplying it just to experience that initial blast a bit longer. The opening is the only time you get this extremely sharp, metallic, almost otherworldly note — reminiscent of an abstract mineral that might exist on Saturn or different alien landscape, with added wet pebbles. There's an abstract quality here that could well be the saffron's doing, although it's hard to say. The effect is truly brilliant. Quickly following this, an unexpectedly realistic ripe mango note emerges. It's not overly sweet but adds a lovely juicy complexity to the fragrance. Later, it fades into a suede-like scent I recognize from Lattafa's Ishq al Shuyukh Gold, bringing a soft, smooth texture. There's also a slight herbal touch, adding a hint of mystery. I understand why people mention magazine paper vibes — the power of suggestion is strong when you think about it — a dry, papery crispness. There are some earthy hints as well — perhaps cumin? I'm unsure, but this adds a chicken gyros layer — subtle yet undeniably unique. As I mentioned initially, longevity isn't Masa's strongest suit. However, with this latest batch, what was once almost non-existent has become above average. The projection is also decent, even aggressive at first. And though the fragrance may sound strange and surreal in description, it's surprisingly versatile. Likely to appeal to those around you, it’s fairly neutral in essence, suitable for all seasons and weather. One could even say it's perfectly unisex. Masa is certainly the most beautiful bottle I own — a true work of art. In fact, when buying it the second time, I didn't even hope for a stronger formulation — I was drawn to the bottle itself at a lower price to place it at the front of my perfume display. It resembles a mana potion from an Arabian-themed game or could even serve as a formidable self-defense weapon in the case of an apocalypse. Masa would easily make my top five if it had stronger performance metrics. Still, it's definitely a must-buy at a promotional price for any collector. Thanks to the mineral notes, I categorize its weirdness alongside the strangely compelling Lattafa Wajood, another exceptional composition with that wet stone effect. Masa is one of those fragrances that smells like a place you can't quite remember — a place you can only imagine or dream about. Let me start by saying that Lattafa has improved a lot over the years. The quality of their new pride series(Masa and Vintage radio in particular) are unreal, and the oil concentration is crazy. If you see this fragrance going for $100, It's still VERY much okay to get it. Masa means diamond in Arabic. And it is a befitting name for a fragrance that revolves around that Ganymede territory. I have sampled Ganymede once, and damn... Just damn! To describe the smell is actually difficult, just like Masa. But Masa is a twist. It is to Ganymede as Khamrah is to Angels share. Mango, saffron and suede are amped up here, with the mango playing an important role here. You might miss it if you don't pay attention. It's beautifully blended. The opening has fruits, mixed with suede. Sometimes I catch the citrus, other times I smell the mango(especially when smelling from the atomizer). It's a very seductive opening that leads to a salty, saffronic and spicy curry-like base. That dry down will somehow remind you of the saffron from BR540. Very familiar, yet way different and dry saffron. Tbh, something in the fragrance smells otherworldly. Why I say that is cos of how this at times depicts the smell of wet white rocks and icy metallic environment. Each time you smell this, you're reminded of something abstract, but can't wrap your head on what it actually is. Maybe I'll just leave it at the name. It was named Diamond for a reason, yeah? Maybe Diamond should've smelt this way! The accords I get from Lattafa Masa includes: ꜱʜʀᴇᴅᴅᴇᴅ/ᴍᴀɢᴀᴢɪɴᴇ ᴘᴀᴘᴇʀ ᴠɪʙᴇꜱ, ᴡᴇᴛ ᴡʜɪᴛᴇ ʀᴏᴄᴋ/ᴘᴇʙʙʟᴇꜱ, ɪᴄᴇ ᴄᴏʟᴅ ᴍᴇᴛᴀʟ, ꜱᴀꜰꜰʀᴏɴ ᴀɴᴅ ꜱᴜᴇᴅᴇ, ꜰʀᴜɪᴛꜱ, ᴀ ꜱʜᴏᴇ ʙᴏᴜᴛɪQᴜᴇ, ᴇᴛᴄ. Longevity is EXTRATERRESTRIAL. 15hrs+ on my skin with 2 sprays. The sprayer spritz in short bursts, which I suppose was done on purpose. Projection is great too. It's very easy to go nose-blind to this one, but trust me, it's still present. It is totally unisex, but leans more masculine. It's also perfect for all weather. Final rating: 9.8/10! I just can't wait for the coming Lattafa releases. I just hope they keep putting out this type of amazing quality for less. I also wish they could focus a little more on daring fragrance from the likes of Zoologist, BeauFort London and Imaginary authors. 👀 Also, Fragrantica should add more of Lattafa's Pride series, and also their new Niche emarati releases. Cos I just recently got Lattafa Niche Emarati Mughal Fort, and the quality on that stuff is unreal!!! Edit: I think this fragrance DNA might even be better than Ganymedes'. This is an actual MASTERPIECE from Lattafa and evidently one of their top tiers. But hollop, I HEARD their new Niche Emarati Khanjar is even a more quality niche take on Masa. (Shhh, don't tell anybody.) 👀 Lol... I expect this fragrance to get shoved down our throats by TikTok in the near future.

Where do I start with this masterpiece? For starters this is a long lasting metallic fragrance that smells fantastic on the opening, dry down, and settle. The opening is a beautiful mango burst that isn’t necessarily super sweet but fresh and delicious like a mango smoothie made to order. The metallic touch isn’t really the main focus until like 20 minutes in where it starts to hold the reins all the way down to the settling point. The metallic smell isn’t like coins or blood at all, it’s hard to explain but it’s super fresh and invigorating. I do also get some florals that seem to keep the metallic smell more of a main but not overwhelming smell keeping it balanced between pounding and caressing the nose. I haven’t really testing the trail with anyone but I can tell you that even 2 hours in with a single spray on my under wrist I’d still get little reminders that “hey I’m still here!” And it’s never unpleasant. I definitely wouldn’t call this a safe blind buy but considering I got it for $43 the quality is just crazy. Lasted for as long as 16 hours on my skin if I don’t do too much during the day. If I wear it out and move a lot I think I’d still get up to 10 hours but around 6 hours in it really becomes a skin scent that you have to get pretty close to smell. I would wear this in tandem with something much sweeter laying under it like my JPG elixir or 1 million lucky personally as I very much enjoy the combination it has with gourmand. I would wear this to the park, store/shopping, a date, errands, sporting events or to do a sport, social gathering, or concert. I would not wear this to school, work, gym, or anything with people you don’t know and want to establish a relationship with as this scent profile can possibly be offensive to someone or since it’s easy to overspray. I would stick to a max of 6 sprays if you are daring. 1 on back or front of neck, 2 on both inner elbows, 2 on wrists, and last on your shit front. 4 sprays just don’t spray on elbows, and spray on the parts I previously stated. If you love mango you will love this opening and if you like fresh scents you might enjoy the dry down just as much. This is an easy 8/10 for me. 9/10 in some situations.

Other reviews have covered the fragrance notes (mango skin, suede, mineral notes, and touches of floral aspects, especially orange blossom), but I have to say, this fragrance has no business smelling this premium at its price range. I recently reviewed Lattafa's Wajood, an interpretation of Kenzo Pour Homme EDT Intense, which also uses Quentin Bisch's favorite note, Akigalawood. However, unlike in Wajood where Akigala is overused, the Akigalawood in Masa's base supports the suede beautifully, which in turn uplifts the mango skin in the opening. As it dries down, the fragrance blends so well that you're not exactly sure which aspect you're smelling. It transitions to a more leathery/mineralic base from the mango opening, but it's so well blended that it just smells like Masa. There's no hint of body odor here. The mango skin and saffron, combined with the suede, create a dense 'second skin' effect that's cleaned up by the mineral notes. Despite trying to avoid discussing the notes, I had to because this fragrance is just that good. It doesn't become a faithful Ganymede interpretation until after ~4 hours, so if you're looking for a dupe, this isn't it. For me, Masa beats Ganymede. Just as BR540 Extrait uses a bitter almond/cherry accord to create a more gourmand, dense twist on BR540, Masa does the same using a mango skin accord on Ganymede. Ganymede Extrait is polarizing because Bisch ramped up the Akigalawood and added Immortelle. Masa, however, should have been Ganymede Extrait. Its added notes have that BR540 Extrait effect. If you like the original Ganymede, this is a 10/10 and signature scent worthy.

Fruitier Mango note & a noticeable Cumin Note (especially in the opening) than Ganymede (which i own), closer than Bois Imperial (which actually has amazing performance for a cheap niche) and blows Emir Celestial out of the water. So essentially slightly Spicier & Fruitier Ganymede. Presentation is amazing with a gold, heavy bottle and cap clicks into place and double box. As far as longevity, projection and sillage......It projects way harder in the beginning than Ganymede, however, it starts to taper off much quicker than the OG. Ganymede sticks around way longer, with that being said, is it worth the 5x the price point? i would say no....this is probably the best alternative out there. In the air, most average people probably couldn't tell the difference. Up close and over time, i can definitely tell the difference, mostly cause of the cumin. This is definitely the best alternative at the moment, especially for $40ish. JUST MAKE SURE YOU DON'T MIND CUMIN. Grab this as an alternative, before the hype gets out of control (Khamrah, Suits/Tux, Club de Nuit Untold, Paris Corner Rifaaqat) and they jack up the prices.

edit: after owning this for some time now, it just keeps getting better, so much so, that i am gonna rewrite the entire review. Literally works for all weathers and so many occasions that it can easily be a signature, and it smells so good it is crazy. The scent profile changed slightly after 2.5 months so far, just more pronounced minerals and slightly more saffron, it still smells mostly the same, so if you recently bought it and don't enjoy it, your opinion is most likely not gonna change. For me, it smells gorgeous, that mango note is so good, that i think this should have a better rating than the og ganymede. It is also really high quality for the price, i got it at 35 using some cheap tactics, but you can easily get it for around 40-45 dollars, which this smells easily 3x its price. It performs pretty good too. Lasting 6+ hours at work and easily 8+ at home while projecting and leaving a good trail early on. If you don’t feel like it performs that well, ask people around you or have somebody else wear it and check for yourself. Scent: 10/10 Performance: 8/10 Price: 9.5/10

You won't smell yourself coming ang going wearing Masa, that's for sure. What an interesting, exotic and delightful scent! Right off the bat you get mango... it's so prominent that I can almost feel the texture of mango on my teeth, and stickiness on my lips. Then, you get pretty much what you see described... spicy floral with cold, butch metallicy/mineral leather, with a sort of papery, magazine page whiff. I don't get any BO funk, or scent of bandaids from this like people have mentioned. What I will say, is that Masa smells like a place I've been before--not a person I've known. Where this place is? I don't know... but it's jogging some sort of memory I would say Masa is a spring, fall, and summer night fragrance. It's marketed as unisex and I do agree that it is, but in 2024, where feminine fragrance are super prissy and pink, and smell like fruity desserts, I cannot imagine a woman today wanting to smell like this. Guys? Yes. I could see Masa working well at job interviews, dinners, dates, occasions where a guy would be well-dressed.

Nose Note #525 I have to say, I hate Ganymede. The thing is a safety hazard and smells like ink and paper when printer gets overheated from too much printing. This one at first I thought "why in the world did I buy this, it smells just like Ganymede". But on the second wearing I thought "no, no, this is actually rather pleasant". I think it diverges from the Ganymede DNA into the best way it could have gone - they made it fruity. Ganymede is unapologetic, cold, metallic and many other things. It's not a perfume, it's a smell. This one is Ganymede, but made for human beings. It has a very nice mango note, but I missed it out completely at first. Now it feels fresh and inviting to me. It's super strong though, very long-lasting. Enough to last for a full work day. And it retains the enigmatic quality of Ganymede. Lattafa did it again. They tried to make a dupe, but made it even better. What a great job. This is a masterpiece. Mind, it's still not a safe blind buy, I think. 9/10, mineral and mango notes fit perfectly

Humanity is genuinely done for. These reviews (and 90% of reviews in 2025 are undeniable proof). Beautiful balanced post rain scent. Mango and fruit are exactly the potency they need to be to allow the "metallic" post rain notes to carry. 8/10 frag for me a bit hard for me to pull off in a day to day setting but smells excellent. Performance and longevity are good for a clone. If you like this scent profile its an easy buy. People usually sell this for cheap used like new. To the reviewer saying this smells like swamp ass, no that is you. Dirty take a shower. Probably need to make some other life adjustments too. Reviewer right under me must be brain damaged. Good luck to u. This does not smell like br540 pls seek help. The mango/fruit is nowhere near gof potency.... it is a background to the "metallic" note. Ignore the ignorance. If u like post rain smells u will like this. Its a good frag.

Masa by Lattafa is an absolute delight to wear, start to finish. It’s elegant & mysterious and blends very nicely on my skin. I’m almost through my 20 ml bottle I bought along with Khalid and Raw Human earlier this year. I love all three once they matured. Masa blends beautifully with Gray Ash by Maison Alhambra which has a gorgeous rose scent but doesn’t overwhelm Masa at all. Such an amazing niche quality pairing of fragrances and the dry down... it’s truly everything you’d want it to be. Masa is truly niche quality fragrance without the Niche price tag. March 2026– I purchased the sizzling beautiful bottle of Masa over the Holidays last year. It’s so beautiful and the bottle is absolute Luxe. It’s a rich and versatile fragrance. Wear it with a layering scent or sans anything that might interrupt its beauty. It’s versatile, affordable and a huge win for my olfactory pleasure!

Not so much a dupe but a reinterpretation of Ganymede, with added mango. Foolishly blind bought this based on Fragrantica reviews - it worked before, I scored a big win blind buying Vintage Radio, have I scored another win? Well, yes I think so. Has a bit of that futuristic, synthetic new car leather upholstery vibe of Ganymede plus the metallic mineral notes (albeit a little toned down) and overall made more mainstream from the added fruity mango note. Performance is not as powerful or long lasting as Ganymede (which is a monster) but still acceptable. This is very nice, quite an upmarket, sophisticated feel and surprisingly close to the OG but with a deliberate sweet, fruity twist that makes it less other worldly. The quality is excellent too. I like this almost as much as Ganymede, for the price it’s incredible.

Lattafa has released some serious bangers this year, and this is one of their top dog. I'm not gonna lie I originally ordered it purely for the bottle design and on the first try I was a bit hesitant but since then it grew on me to the point where I consider this my best Lattafa alongside Eternal Oud. It is a sweet mango blast with a flowery drydown, maybe just ever so slightly leaning toward femine, but guys can still absolutely rock this. Definetily beastmode, it stays AND projects for a good 10-12 hours. It is one of the pricier Lattafas but it is extremely high quality. No cheap alcoholic undertones or any harshness. If it was released by some high-end niche house for triple the price none would be the wiser. If you can definetily give Masa a try, it's a crying shame that it currently flies under the radar.

I wore Ganymede 5-6 times and wanted to buy it but then I stumbled onto this online for a good price so of course I gave it a try. They aren't 100% the same but as some reviewers below said the price difference is not justified, so go for Masa! I currently have Ganymede on my neck and every few minutes I am smelling Masa from the bottle, the slight difference comes from mango and a bit more suede in Masa, but mango is so well blended that unless you have Ganymede to smell paralely you won't catch it. When I was wearing Masa alone I was thinking "yes thats it". I also thought it was gone after 6-7hrs cause I did only 2 sprays but then somebody told me they can constantly smell something on me. As always, Lattafa doesn't miss. I will be wearing this often this spring/summer season.

This is a difficult one to describe. At first I wasn't even sure what I was smelling. In the air I get ginger, citrus and pink pepper over a soft suede-like base. It smells clean, fresh and slightly mineralic. I honestly wouldn't have called this a mango fragrance at first. But after a while the mango starts to come through. Now it feels more like a mineral mango with suede underneath, giving it a soft, smooth base. It's very different from the other mango fragrances I've tried. It feels clean, airy and a little mysterious. I'd call it a mineral mango with a soft suede base rather than a fruity mango, and I think that's what makes it interesting. The more I wear it, the more it grows on me. In the air it smells fresh, elegant and surprisingly easy to wear.

Before purchasing, I checked the technical specifications on this site and expected to get good longevity and sillage (I have Khamrah from the same price category and it performs very good) - but was disappointed: it barely lasts couple of hours and sillage is between "intimate" and "moderate". At first, I thought I just had a bad batch, so I decided to go to another store and check it there - and it was completely the same. Have to do 4-5 sprays and reapply it (also 4-5 sprays) after 2 hours in order to make it noticeable for myself. Overall, the composition is quite linear but the performance is sucks... Anyway, got it with a discount - so have to pay $25 for the 100ml

I had a decant and finally ended up buying a full bottle (which is beautiful imo, and unexpectedly heavy). I have to say, I'm loving it even more than Bois Imperial, from which I also have a decant—although I must admit it doesn’t have as much sillage as Quentin’s creation. That doesn’t bother me, though, because I’ve come to realize I can’t handle too much sillage anyway. I also have Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Blends from Lattafa, and I decided to layer the two—OMG, they're incredible together! Now I want to try other layering options, since Masa doesn’t have that gourmand side I’m always reaching for.

An absolute love at first spritz, and I will certainly repurchase! This fragrance is well-blended, offering sophisticated and mature tropical vibes. 🖤 Although it contains a metallic note, the perfume does not register as "cool" on my skin. I've had this perfume for a couple of months, and I loved it immediately. Though wearing it didn't click for me during the winter season. The juicy mango and ginger, slightly milky osmanthus, warm spiciness, and soft suede in the background provide a perfect combination with the cooler notes, making this ideal for sunny and even slightly warmer days.

My sibling tested this and stated, “A mechanic with slight swamp ass and body odor who didn’t even try their best to wash...” I found that comment too funny... However, in my opinion, it’s more of a unique fragrance that combines elements of sweetness with ozonic notes, creating a sharp scent reminiscent of a sharp knife... Indeed, it smells like actual metal, similar to a silver light pole and the peel of a mango after being fleshed out and dried out in the sun... I do wanna mention that this does have me reminding me of static electricity as well, which explains the ozonic notes...

I've been trying to stear clear of middle eastern scents lately, not really bothering to pay them as much attention as I used to, but I saw this one and I new I had to have it. Love at first sniff! Like nothing else I've ever smelled before, perfectly rides that unisex line, perhaps tipping ever so slightly masculine. All season type of fragrance imo. This might be my last middle eastern purchase - but what a fantastic one to go out on!

This fragrance puts a smile on my face i cant tell you why but it is really uplifting. weirdly, the first thing i caught sniffing it was leather and then mango lemon and ginger. It reaaally smells classy and expensive, it is a pleasant smell that doesnt overdo the mineral note like some other clones out here. I Dont recommend blind buying this one because of the mango note.

Essentially some mango sweet-freshness on top of the Ganymede DNA, making it more wearable than the original and other interpretations. I really like this take on Ganymede, more versatile and less controversial than the rest. Longevity is amazing, 10hrs no problem with good projection. If you like the Ganymede DNA, worth a try.

...to be honest - I take back what I said in previous comment. It’s been a month since I bought it, and now it obviously has moderate longevity with moderate sillage - so, it just has to be macerated a month and a half to reach full performance. Now I fully satisfied with it :)

Interesting. The whole blend comes off as a huge realistic green tea note - which i wasnt expecting to find here. Might be worth it if the price comes down a little bit, the performance isnt insane. Edit: nevermind, the performance is indeed insane.

I simply love it! It is not for everyone but has something mystique. One of the best fragrances I have added to my collection recently.

Masa is delightful and IMO well blended. Don't approach it looking for a dupe of Ganymede, simply enjoy this stunning fragrance.

Summary: An amazing scent that with an eternal longevity. This is coming from a guy who owns over 2000 fragrances.

Love this smell, it's unique and super interesting. Layer it with Bois Imperial and thank me later.

Good alternative to Ganymede, not that much beast mode but last good 5-7 hours.

Ohkay... where to begin? 1. A spot-on Ganymede clone (yes I own Ganymede). In certain ways sweeter, a bit more metallic for the better, and lasts longer. 2. Mango and all the associated sweetness overpowers for the first 30 mins. Dry down is gentler and reveals the mineral notes. All the stuff mentioned under "middle notes" seem non-existent. 3. One of the few truly eternal-longevity fragrances I have come across in my life. Smell will stay with you after you take a shower and / or wash your clothes. It will probably stay until you die of old age. I suggest a skin transplant if you really need to get it off. 4. Spray with caution. Over-spraying will result in a headache for you and those around you. Not a good idea if you're expecting to make love with your partner. She'll probably say "I have a headache" and she'll mean it this time. You'll only end up making love with your hand while smelling nice. 5. If you don't know Ganymede or its DNA, please try before you buy. This is not a freshie or blind-buy worthy no matter what the youtube dumbf**k reviews say. 6. Habibi did I mention? That bottle and the overall presentation: spectacular!

Not going to lie not sure were the swamp ass comments came from but like the other guy said the past reviewers getting that stinch its due to THERE skin chem and they should shower throughly before testing a fragrance they are reviewing Now to me this opens up similar to paris corner Ophidian mango bliss due to the red pepper and mango and ginger smells somewhat tart maybe the lemon i havent smelled any mineral notes yet but this is my first impressions instead of a full wear test i am picking up on the suede very shoe like not a bad fragrance at all nor is it too cloying the mango and suede plays tag on my skin one overpowering another every now and then taking the spot light Not a metallic smell but minerals too me like a wet rock at a beach or a iron dense beach suede and mango

I have grandeur from fragrance world which has quickly become one of my go-to scents. Because of this I picked up a dirty cheap 20ml bottle of Masa to try. First off I have to say that I do love this scent, the main issue for me is that it is not especially strong. Masa has a sweet mango note that's blended in with a mixture of citrus and mineral notes. I have never tried Ganymede, so can only really compare it to grandeur. Masa is a lot sweater than grandure and leans more feminine, it has a slight hint of bubblegum that I don't get from grandeur. I would describe Masa as a softer versions, and grandeur as more fresh with more distinct notes. The violet in Masa hides in the background, where as in grandeur it is a lot more obvious.

I love the Ganymede DNA and this is a beautiful twist on the OG, so far the closest clone I've found is from ard Al zaffaran's prive couture line (called Ganymede) but this has the fruitiness ramped up and I'm looking forward to wearing this in spring and summer as an alternative to Ganymede! My first few tests have shown it has pretty good projection and seems to have a good 6+ hours longevity so considering I paid less than £40 for this fragrance, I'd definitely recommend it to those curious of the DNA but maybe inexperienced with mineralic/metallic notes. Great fragrance and the presentation is better in person 😂

If I had money I would go with Gany hands down, (Gany is beautiful well blended, lasts longer on me) Masa is not bad they have similar dna but not quite same side by side. Masa is kind of fruitier, rougher, less smooth and a hair more musculine than gany. Edit: performance on masa is absolute kaka, after spraying gany and masa on different hands I can't barely detect masa while i get strong pleasant scent where gany is. Will have to save some coin to get real deal. Masa doesn't hold a candle to Ganymede, sorry not sorry.

I read somewhere that it smells like opening a new box of shoes and now i cannot unsmell it. Reminds me of these little old shoe shops in small close knit cities. I believe this is the mineralic suede note. Safron lingers somwhere in the background just like the somehow existing hint of mango (a note i was afraid of because mango smell reminds me of a pot of creamed spinach i forgot to put into the fridge for one day) I guess it does what every mineralic fragrance does for me. Being overpowering on the mineralic part.

I like it, particularly the beginning stages of it. First it is a bubblegummy-tropical ganymede version, Feels abit unisex in that stages.. I blind bought a full bottle which was a good idea. Though in the later stages, when i apply on my hand atleast, it starts to turn into a licorice-type rubber. Like imagine a tire made 50% of licorice but its abit sweet too. A hint of "turkish pepper" candy, and that i'm not such a fan of it can get slightly nauseating

The Masa bottle reminds me of an elixir potion that I looted from some goblin priest on my guild's dungeon run. The juice is sweet and a great blend of spices, resins and fruits. It's uber Middle Eastern, like browsing through a Middle Eastern spice market. It leans slightly masculine on me, but I don't mind that. The mango note in this makes it interesting. Performance and projection are decent, it projects for an hour or two, then sits close to the skin.

Wow this is really good, I blind bought and I like it a lot, it's a sexy sweet musky mineral mango fragrance. Musky Mango is the most dominate note to me and it just smells sexy as hell. Never tried ganimade but I can say this masa fragrance is very good. Can be worn year round, has enough sweetness for colder months and it has enough tropical freshness for hot months as well. I give Masa a 8.5/10.

This stuff is nuclear! Masa is a really strange and unique fragrance, never smelled something like this. Metallic leather with a fruity tropical undertone and a touch of Ambroxan, that's how it comes off to my nose. Even if it's not an usual combination, it smells good, especially in the air. Maybe not the safest blind but especially if you are a young guy. 8/10

I know i wrote a review but for those in the western hemisphere have you tried the candies these tamarindo hard candies with chili on it thats what im getting from this that mango and saffron coming strong very suede like as well i live this stuff if only they can make a I SAID IF ONLY THEY CAN MAKE A PASSION FRUIT version of Ganymede that would be cool

Just blind bought masa 1 week ago. It has a REALLY strange smell, don't get me wrong it is a very beautiful fragrance but not what you would expect. The opening scent is a harsh metal and leather combination, but it dries down to a smooth mango and somewhat spicy smell. Overall a great fragrance but not a safe blind buy. 8.58/10

Wooow! It's amazing! But wait a minute.. i have smelled something like this before. And yes. It's just like Illusione by Bottega Veneta with a metallic+dentistry twist. The drydown is very airy and reminds me of Molecule 02. Layered with Vintage Radio or D&G Forever.. another winner :D <3

Smells exactly like baccarat rouge in the air when you first spray it, but that goes away immediately as you get more into the fragrance and the mango and mineral notes reveal themselves to make for a great tropical unisex fragrance.

The notes are interesting as hell. I bought a 20ml sample and am twerking on the fence with this one. I cannot make out if it's nice or simply rank. The mineral note is wild!!! Smells like hot pennies on the ground in South Beach after a quick rain shower. Not really appealing/kinda rank but not rancid.?!?!? Then there's mango and such playing around. It goes musty with my chemistry. Every now and again, I sniff the atomizer and give a spritz on skin to see if it's improving && It is, at a snail's pace. At this point, this can't even be used as room spray but I refuse to give up on this. After hearing a review calling this handsome, I wanna smell wtf he smelled or at least something close. A woman who reviewed this said it had to sit in her collection for 3/4 months before it leveled out and she now loves it. Glad I grabbed the sample.Jury is still out.

At the opening and a bit in the middle you can see similarities to ganymede ( i have a decant of it ) But its still not very close it will continue drifting away from it as time goes on . Its still a nice unisex perfume , very fruity and tropical, reminds me of Vulcan feu in the mid or drydown ( probably the mango ) But if you are looking for a ganymede clone, this is not it at all, it could just "remind you of" ganymede , but that's it For a more accurate ganymede clone, I would suggest going for maison alhambra minerale, I was blown away by how close it is, you have to smell them side by side repeatedly if you want to have a chance of finding the difference

So i picked this up as a blind buy because I was curious as to what "mineral" smells like and to get out of my comfort zone by trying something a bit more gourmand. I was not in love with this combination. It's not bad and may even grow on me over time but it just feel like the mineral notes give a clinical antiseptic feel to the fruit florals and musk rather than the fresh effervescent quality I expected. Think of it like the smell of someone who got rushed to a hospital from a date. Once again I dont dislike it. Its just weird to me and I dont understand why i keep coming back to it.

I get it when someone said it's smell like a Curry, it's been a month of maceration and all i can smell still curry from the first spray and a leather(suede). As a women i love to wear a fresh - spicy masculine fragrances , but this one is "dirty BO" and it just put me off. I don't want to waste the juice so i try to layer it with different fragrances from my collection. It goes very well with Yara Toes(both have mangoes). Now it become a spicy fruity, with Velvet Vanilla it turn beautiful flowery. No strong curry leather anymore and it is now bearable to wear. From hate to Love.
