Blu di Roma Uomo

This is such a simple frag... very aquatic. It smells like 80% Aqva Marine and 20% Light Blue Beauty of Capri. Basically, it's Aqva Marine with more citrus on top and watery feel, but not sea weed. No sea water just plain fresh water. Everyone who wanted to get Aqva Marine but were put off by that fishy sea weed note... this is for you. Basically the same, just without those few notes. Dry down is woody leather but they are so light and non sweet and blended with water notes that it really doesn't matter. Lasts about the same as Aqva Marine... maybe a little more and it lasts longer if you sweat, which you do when the sun is blazing at 40C or 100F. Price-ml ratio between this and Marine is about the same. Overall... citrus, watery fresh with very light watrey woodys dry down that can, at moments, feel even slightly green or herbal... Screams summer. What I call a true summer frag is the one that can stand in that heat, last, be cooling and refreshing, jet project and be light so it won't choke you or anyone around you, but all will be able to smell it. Doesn't become too sweet, too sour, not too much of anything. Not one note that will stand out and change into an overly territory when that sun hits you. To me, that is the definition of a true summer frag. And this one is just that.

Very very solid from my beloved house of Laura Biagiotti It is so clean and elegant yet it has that leathery base which makes it more interesting. On my skin with 7-8 sprays it gets me about 6 hours of good performance. To me this one screams Italian made. If it had sauvages performance it would be my top three. It stiil is one of me favourite freshies. Presentation is top notch also.

A fresh, juicy citrus fragrance. Not a sporty scent, but rather elegant, with a typically Italian style. I love it—one of my all-time favorites!

Exelent choice for hot summer days..fresh clean with good longevity..

I got a sample and tried it. What can i say about it? First it is fresh and citric. The first wave is citric and then it is quiet. After some time a very subtle citric aquatic freshness evolves and ends in a woody tone with still the freshness in the front. Happily for me the leather stays far in the background. It is far far better than Roma Essenza. It is really nice and fresh summer perfume that is subtle with moderate longevity. The projection is subtle and becomes stronger with hot weather. Yes i now get more out of it. Just as i said it is a fresh and casual perfume with elegance and class. It isn't to compare with the master piece of this house Roma uomo. But is has definitely some nice class. It is one of those perfumes where the aquatic note isn't too prominent and it just gives a nice freshness. This perfume could become a nice summer perfume. All the notes are subtle and are in harmony with each other. A perfume for casual use with that typical Italian citric freshness.

That ́s it. I ́m done with bying any more blue fragrances. Except for Creed Erolfa and Azzaro Chrome my wife hates all the rest of them with a passion you don ́t want to know. Nevertheless I find this one a good mixture between creed millesime imperiale (80%) and a random modern blue fragrance (20%). A good safe buy for me, not for wifey though so i will have to pick my moments to wear it 🙂

Standard frag for usual summer

Opening is rather sharp, a little sweet but very strong citrueses as well. Synthetic swimming pool smell in the drydown. I don't know why would anyone want to smell like this. It has nothing to do with Roma.

This is a beach scent. It's not a on-board a luxury yacht, on a sparkling sea blue fragrance. Instead it's a realistic on the beach in the surf with the smell of both blue water plus flotsam and jetsam. Almost a green-blue with some saltiness.

This is a beautiful scent. Summer scent warm weather feels and smells like a summer freshness by the beach.
