I Went Down On You In St. Tropez

I love ambrette, osmanthus, pear, and rose so I had to give this a try this is an earthy, woody, slightly floral soap. Earthiness slaps your sinuses in the opening. It quickly calms down and becomes a smooth, tea-like green floral with woods. It's definitely a skin scent. Slightly dirty (maybe intended?) from the earthiness - reminds me of a slightly cold, breezy day inside a clay studio I used to use in college. We opened up the windows whenever we could to ventilate as we worked with clay, wood, and metal. We were right by the gulf in winter. There's no fruitness. Overall it's a powdery, earthy, green soap. Not what I was expecting. I consider it unisex. I smell mimosa as the strongest note - it's a very earthy floral rose and osmanthus, ambrette and orris - give it a clean, intimate soapiness I do not smell any fruit I detect a decent amount of woods Something about this just smells like a clean workspace and not a person to me. I think it's because of my experience at the clay studio. Scrubbing off so I can't update about longevity, but this is a personal scent. I can see it lasting maybe 5-6 hours easy. I think it would be popular amongst many and inoffensive. It's a year-round scent and clean/light enough for summer. Edit: I washed this off and smelled my wrist and what's left remaining is so refreshing. It's a true delicate skin scent that smells like a coastal breeze. This one definitely needs some trial and error and multiple wears to decide if you like or not. It smells like a memory and unlike other perfumes I've smelled. However, imo not worth the price

clean laundry scent. reminds me of replica lazy sunday morning, but heavier on the rose.

All I can smell on my skin is some very strong green fig and cypress (I liked the cypress) but I’m not getting the other notes and I really wanted the ambrette, orris, pear and patchouli. It also only lasted a few hours and was a skin scent pretty much the whole time. Maybe there is an aromachemical I can’t smell in this that’s blocking the other notes from coming through, but I didn’t have that problem with We Met in Roma, and also, I didn’t smell any aromachemicals in I Went Down... Contrast that to the We Met in Roma that I’ve worn a few times already. That one is excellent, great smelling, strong, and I get so many more notes!

Hahaha... What’s with the naming of this fragrance and the line.? Starts off reasonable enough.. With some romantic jargon.. “We Met In Roma..” and “You Kissed Me In Paris”.. Fairly straightforward.. Only to be followed up by.. “I Went Down On You In St. Tropez”...?? What’s next...? “Hey... remember me?? I got you off in the alley behind Seńor Frogs in Vegas last week..”

This is everything Glossier You and Tres Chere thought they could be ...but better...combined. It’s hard to describe. It’s more than a skin scent and more than a floral, clean, feminine scent. It’s beautiful and different. I will be buying a full bottle.

Y'all are annoying, stop putting idiotic scents in the smells like section that clearly arent supposed to be there. Some people actually want to use this site in its intended way, to get real insight on a fragrance. Grow up 🙄

I want this solely for the name of it haha but I hope the juice inside is amazing because this is $310 and no available sample sets sadly.
