Rose Chocolat

this smell is SO nostalgic. dear fellow 90s kids: was there a common product that smells exactly like this?? because not only did i have an immediate 'i havent thought of this smell since i was 13, i must take it home with me' reaction to this, but so did my partner, whose interests in scents is extremely casual and who is not usually one for a strong immediate positive reaction like i am. honestly, it pings my memories of a shimmer body lotion i had in middle school from ross that was American Idol branded and came in a tall narrow bottle with a purple label... so i can see why people would be disappointed by the vapid cute body lotion smell experience if that's not what you anticipated from the name or notes list, but it kind of seems like that's the ballpark you're playing on with a lot of le monde gourmand scents. i don't typically gravitate towards this type of thing either, but rose chocolat Specifically is a winner for me. immediately calming, warm, and approachable. a smell for fluffy sweaters and sleepovers.

Cute and complex name for a perfume, but it doesn't smell smell like roses or even chocolate. To be a perfume and be named Rose Chocolat is no doubt giving a Valentine's Day vibe. I could see it being a gift given on Valentine's Day or even a cute sweetheart scent for a date. The name plus the scent brings to mind a milky bath with rose petals... or even pink rose petals and strawberries lightly dusted with sugar with a side of chocolate. Light Pink is symbolic of friendship, soft tender love, gentleness, and kindness. It also represents youthfulness and innocence as well. The milky pink perfume is reminiscent of strawberry milk. It brings to mind soft pink roses and even suggests the idea of pink berries too! A great way of communicating the Pink Musk note. It smells light-hearted too. You are worthy of the roses and chocolate, but it's also important to realize you are enough just as you are. This perfume sends the message to embrace your unique self and smell cute while doing it.

This is such a girly feel-pretty scent. It smells like the color pink and the opening spritz is soo addictive. It does remind me of YBM but I prefer this because evn though it smells more girly it also gives clean girl. It's not fruity but still fresh in a way. You can also smell coconut cream in the background, which I'm not the biggest fan of but once it settles you can barely smell the coconut in the drydown and you're just left with this girly scent. I know girly is not very descriptive but once you smell it you'll know that's the best way to describe it. When I put this on I feel soo pretty and put together. I don't really get any rose nor chocolate, It just just a very creamy, soft girly fragrance.

This scent is so pretty, and doesn't smell artificial to me because it blends so nicely with my skin chemistry. It reminds me of a mug of white chocolate hot cocoa, luxury lotion, and ballerina tutus. It's not too strong, but enough to be noticeable without suffocating you. On my skin, it smells so soft and feminine, the notes milky and sweet with a touch of fresh roses. I think the sandalwood mellows out the sweetness of the perfume on my skin, making it more creamy and soft than cloying. This perfume is perfect for winter and colder weather!

According to Le Monde Gourmand's site, this perfume's top notes are Coconut Water & Chai Latte. The middle notes include Cacao Blossom, Cinnamon Bark, Ginger Extract, & Caramel. Lastly, the base notes are Pink Musk & Creamy Sandalwood. Something about this fragrance reminds me of Valentines Day, but I can't explain why. On my skin, it smells milky, very chocolaty, sweet but not overly so, musky, with a tiny hint of florals. A very beautiful scent that is wearable in any season, but I wish it lasted longer.
