Panache Original

Happy to find it in Parfum de Toilette version, maybe from 90's or late 80's. The juice must be made of great ingredients, as it smells very fresh and new. The smell itself is so classic, but still casual ....winter scent mostly, goes well with cozy heavy clothes. Edit: After wearing the perfume for som hours, I feel happy and relaxed. Noteworthy to mention that it carries the "metallic rose" note that dominated Rive Gauche by YSL, actually this note is the dominant here too, but it is cleaner and showery/soapy. I'm totally in love with it and hopefully will find more in the shop I found it in. This has been said, the juice of Panache takes its shape TOTALLY from the 1970's era without any doubt. Bottom Note: love love love from first spray/sniff.

This is a beautiful perfume. I guess my opening words say it all. Panache lives up to its name. It also conjures up an old world feel, almost victorian, complete with lace and parasols and fine bone china. It is not a perfume with much sillage. Opens up with light citrus and aldehydes which gives way to comforting, definite herbal or green notes( Though I can't say what exactly) mixed with mild flowers. The dry down on my skin is definite powder and sandalwood. By powder, I don't mean baby powder but a very refined or elegant 'fancy' powder. Do test it first before buying it. For me, however, it will be on the 're-purchase' list.

I remember when I was about seven I used to watch my Mam get ready for a night out with my Dad and I was fascinated. Mascara, rouge, lipstick and Panache. As a result, this fragrance automatically transports me back to that time. That said, I do love this for what it is....a beautiful scent. It is a bit in your face when first applied (not that that bothers me) but then it settles into a musky, spicy floral with pretty good longevity and silage. I will always have a bottle in my collection.

Lovely and a reminder of the 80s powerhouse perfumes. I adore aldehydes and this has them by the truckload. If you spray it on clothing, you will get big sillage and longevity. Some perfumes just work better that way and this definitely works well on clothing. Not sweet at first, aldehydes, herbs, etc but later settles into a semi sweet floral.

Elegant, bold sophisticated and clean. I would say soapy-floral, a little vintage, but still timeless and elegant. Smells like night out at a classic old school theatre, a tweed jacket and red lipstick. Inoffensive, polite but still bold and confident. For over30s I would say. Smells high quality, way beyond its price tag.
