Tana Meadow

This fragrance is beautifully soft and effortlessly wearable — a delicate balance of sweetness without ever becoming cloying. It opens with a gentle, comforting vanilla that feels airy rather than heavy, wrapped in a subtle veil of florals that add elegance without overpowering the composition. There’s also a smooth, creamy quality running throughout, with a “nuzzly” orris note that gives it a warm, skin-like softness. It shares a resemblance to Paradoxe in its DNA, but this feels like the quieter, more refined sibling — toned down, more intimate, and undeniably gentle. It sits close to the skin in the most inviting way, making it perfect for everyday wear. This is the kind of fragrance you can reach for at any time — understated yet beautiful, polished yet comforting. It’s completely inoffensive and ideal for work or close environments, leaving a soft, elegant trail rather than a loud statement. Layered with a rose body lotion (like one from Lush), it becomes even more stunning — the florals bloom slightly while the creamy sweetness wraps everything together into something truly divine. Honestly, it’s gorgeous. The only downside is the price — because it’s absolutely the kind of scent you’d want to wear all the time without hesitation. If you ever get the chance to try it, especially in Liberty, it’s well worth experiencing.

I absolutely LOVE this one!! It really is a super easy, fair weather reach and it brightens my day every time I wear it! 😊 Honestly, I wasn't initially convinced that I'd like it from the note profile - I am definitely no rose fan, and I am really not into bold, statement florals of any kind - but the blend here is very soft and just beautifully done! The opening is floral forward, but it is very airy, light and fresh with nothing at all overpowering or shouting out at all... albeit that the inital spray itself is a tad overly loud (that bit IS fleeting, but don't accidentally gas the family!) The dry down on me is DEFINITELY vanilla forward, and very much has the Killian Princess vanilla dry down vibe. Don't get me wrong, they are NOT the same because the florals are still present in this one, but I love Princess on bright cold days too because the vanilla absolutely shines through, and I suspect this will be just the same. 100% recommend a sample test of this to anyone!

Sweet, Cotton, Floral It opens bright and sweet, then fades quickly into a soft, sweet, creamy floral. The florals are well blended, so I don’t smell a specific floral note. It dries down to a beautiful sweet vanilla. The vanilla is not a sticky sweet gourmand vanilla, it’s a sweet fluffy vanilla. The Ambroxan note is present, but not strong in the base. If you’re sensitive to that note you may not enjoy the dry down. I like the note of ambroxan, so it’s not a problem for me. If you like perfumes like Oriana and Althair by PDM you might also enjoy this. Tana Meadow doesn’t smell like either of these perfumes, but to my nose is in the same family. I think most people will enjoy this, I definitely think it’s mass appealing. I’m so happy to have it in my collection!

LBTY are knocking it out of the park recently, with 1875 and Tana Meadow. I’m beginning to love floral musk vanilla scents - I wore Ex Nihilo Lust in Paradise all summer and have recently fallen in love with Plume Impression’s Murmure d’Eté. I’m not saying they smell the same, but they are in the same family. Tana Meadow is particularly airy and juicy to start, with the pear given a bit of oomph by the mandarin and ginger, then the lovely floral notes come in as a blend, the rose does not dominate, which I’m glad about. The dry down is delicious with the praline, vanilla and musk, and it lasts reasonably well on me.

Pretty girl scent. It really reminds me of Burberry Goddess, even though the notes look very different. When I think about it, yes it also reminds me of the good old viva la juicy gold. I really enjoy this perfume and think that it is worth having because it is the most refined version of this profile, tweaked for summer.

I love this. However, for me (from memory) it is a dead ringer for Viva La Juicy/Viva La Juicy Gold Couture/Rare Beauty so I don’t need to buy it. Just saved myself £235.

It’s a fragrance that will appeal to most people, the perfumery equivalent of a safe jumper you reach for without a second thought. Marketed as unisex, it nevertheless leans quite clearly towards the feminine audience, as if standing in the middle symbolically. It opens with sweet pear touched by a hint of ginger and mandarin, like a fruity sorbet served in an elegant glass. The opening is pleasant, though fairly predictable. It then flows smoothly into a well blended floral heart enhanced with vanilla, smooth as a satin ribbon, yet at times almost too polished, lacking sharper edges and real character. The vanilla base, with a delicate touch of ambroxan and musk, creates a soft, clean aura, like freshly laundered sheets misted with vanilla spray. Pleasant and comforting, but without the wow factor. Longevity is around five hours, and the scent stays close to the skin, forming a subtle halo around the wearer, more of a whisper than a statement. Overall, it’s pretty and easy to wear, yet it feels more like a carefully created playlist of radio hits than a niche, artistic composition with soul. In my view, the price is rather steep for what it offers, you’re paying more for the packaging and the name than for genuine distinctiveness.

Reminds me of walking through fields and orchards in the south of France in late August. It's the end of the afternoon and the sun isn't burning anymore. I can almost hear the cicadas sing. It makes me happy! It's not the type of scent I'd usually pick up but it's well made and makes me happy, so I'll keep this sample and use it from time to time!

Really nice fragrance but smells fairly identical to Prada Paradoxe (PP). Has very similar notes (jasmine, pear, mandarin, musk, vanilla) just not as amber-heavy as PP. Tana Meadows is really pretty but not worth £225 for something that's already on the market for cheaper

Original sample. If you don’t know how it smells, I’ll tell you :) As they say ‘all new is well forgotten old’. It’s EXACTLY like Armani Code. Flankers. Closer to Couture or Ultra Femme with a drydown of Armani Lei. Never can forget the perfumes, I used in my early 20’. You’re welcome :) I understand that fashion is cyclical but I don’t understand why you should revive those old lux perfumes like it’s something new that and for this money. (Nice but me it’s too syrupy sweet and cloying. Can be choking)

I can see how this would be the most mass pleasing, but I find it the least interesting of the LBTY line. It smells like quite a generic designer floral vanilla, and it’s a little heavy/cloying for me. It might work well in the spring, but I think it would be too much for summer. It’s pleasant enough, but I can live without it, and certainly don’t think it warrants the price tag. Nice bottle though!

shocked by how much I hate this. If you spend time in the cheap $12 perfume aisle in TJ Maxx you know that generic sickly sweet ambrette scent that most of those body sprays etc meld into. It also smells like Burberry Goddess a lot, which I hate. I just didn't believe this perfumer would make something so banal, and I love a lot of the other fragrances in the line. Love love love Liberty Maze and interested in Adelphi Sun, to give you a sense of my hate. So hey, take with a grain of salt, I deteste Burberry Goddess, Kayali Wedding Silk, all of those things with that fluffy ambrette musk I find digusting.
