Vent du Sud

This is the only perfume I've ever bought at the full price, not on sale, because it's SO GOOD and I was afraid it would be discontinued if I waited! When I tested it in Shoppers, my first impression, and the continued impression, was "I smell amazing!" I wish I could drink it. It's sweet without being sugary, and sour without being dry. The kiwi is what stands out for me--although I couldn't put my finger on it until I looked it up on Fragrantica. It's well-named. One of my favourites. I'd make it my signature if there weren't a handful of other scents I love just as much! I wear this anytime, year round. It's probably more of a spring/summer scent, but I like to escape winter by smelling the tropics.

Honestly.... I'd hate to say this about a Lise Watier creation, but it's cheap and trashy and sl*tty and I love it. It's giving all those 2000s perfumes that every celebrity and their mother had no business launching and it just takes me right back to those uncivilized days. This is a gourmand. It smells like tropical fruits and vanilla. It's lovely. A bit weak, but lovely. Spring and summer.

Soft fruity vanilla that sits close to the skin. For the first few sniffs it has a beautiful fresh quality that quickly disappears and the dry down is a more common fruity vanilla. The scent is feminine and carefree, perfect for a picnic in the spring or brunch with girls in the summer. But I personally prefer scents with moderate to heavy sillage and longer longevity. I'll enjoy the sample I have, but won't be purchasing the bottle.

Very confused by the green packaging because it smells nothing like most perfumes in green packages. Reminds me a lot of Taylor by Taylor swift but I like it more.

I'm always tempted by these cheapies, especially when Shopper's has their bonus points redemption events. Smells very much like the year it was released in. If there is nostalgia for you in that, then you may enjoy this. Recognizable 2000's sticky, semi-sweet synthetic vanilla/amber/~wood approximation base/drydown, hard to decipher floral-citrus-ish haze on top. Never really lands or sits anywhere solid or convincing. Kind of like how artificial vanilla extract feels versus a real extract (won't talk about pods to be fair).

I want to like this canadian scent..but i just can't. It strikes me as "made for the masses" fruity. Not in any original, or even good way. Had to wash it off.

This review is for Vent du Sud Azur (blue bottle) it hasn't been added to the database, but Azur is nice. First impression without knowing notes was chamomile tea. Notes from Lise Watier site are: Top notes: bergamot, apple, tagette Middle notes: white tea, jasmine, violet leaf Bottom notes: amber, musk, cedarwood Two hours later and it's pretty cool out today, around 12°c, and I'm still getting a nice light chamomile tea vibe. I like it, and I want to test again in warmer weather. Edit: Bought the purse spray and refill set of this, actually really like it. I don't have anything in my collection that smells like it, it's got marigold (tagette) and white tea but I still really really get slightly sweet fresh chamomile tea, very linear and decent longevity. Thumbs up!

Really nice opening scent of fresh juicy oranges. Dry down is pretty and sits close to the skin but just a generic vanilla fruity smell that reminds me a lot of meow by Katy perry
