Curve Crush for Men

Top notes - Bartlett Pear, Cold Muguet Aldehyde, Basil, Coriander, Bergamot. Heart notes - Ginger, Green Violet, Blue Lavender, Living Sage. Base notes - Spicy Cardamom, Vetiver, Musk, Moss. Right from the start, I get all the top notes into one. Fruity from the pear and bergamot. Green/floral from the basil and muget aldehyde (a synthetic fragrance for a rosy floral scent). A little spice from the coriander sits in the background. Its very uplifting. On the dry down, again, it's really all the heart and base notes just beautifully mixed into one but that pear really sticks around to my nose. Its fresh, fruity and green/spicy/tea like. As I read the notes it's like I can smell each one in there it's really amazing. The sillage, as everyone else says, isn't the greatest. I personally like a light fragrance for the daytime and get lots of use out of them. This fragrance will sillage for a good 2-3 hours and after that, the dry-down will pretty much stick with you for a few more hours. It does hang onto clothes. If you use a lotion (I use unscented Dermasil) it will help the fragrance to stick longer! I've literally used this fragrance since I was a kid when it was released. It's a timeless fruity, green, freshie in the same park as Tommy by Tommy (highly recommended if you like Crush).

Like most other reviews state this one is basically an sporty aquatic scent that smells pleasant to most people and certainly won't offend anyone. Same genre of late 1990's to early 2000's mainstream men's aquatic fragrances as Chrome Azzaro or Nautica Voyage. Basically men's ocean fresh type shower gel in the form of a bottle of cologne. Some will say it's boring, but it still manages to receive compliments. It's a perfect dumb reach especially for the gym or at the beach. The best thing about this one though is the performance. This fragrance is less than $20 online and it's an above average performer at least on me. I think many people go anosmic to it because I get 8-12 hours easily. The only other fresh aquatic fragrance I can think of that is stronger than this one but the same super cheap price with is probably Versace Blue Jeans. Now that one is legitimately nuclear especially for a fresh fragrance. They definitely fill the same niche, but they don't smell anything alike so it's not redundant to add both to your collection.

I some how missed most of the curve fragrances. The only one I ever tried was the original curve that first came out. Thought it was okay, but didn't really love or hate. Finally got around to trying this just a couple months ago, and it's pretty much all I've worn since then. I love the smell of this. Only downside for me, is it just doesn't last long on my skin. I may get a couple of hours then I can't really smell it any more. But....great, cheap, fresh scent. For the price it's hard to knock anything about this one. Now if you're a hardcore frag head, that needs challenging more natural smelling colognes, then this is not for you. It's totally synthetic, but I don't mean this as a bad thing. A lot of the ones I've come to wear a lot, have a synthetic vibe to them. As for the notes, I'm not really good at picking out notes, and nothing really stands out to me except I can tell it's fruity and fresh. Not overly sweet, just right. Highly recommend if you're looking for a cheapie.

This is the scent my boyfriend uses and in my opinion it smells just like him but better. It smells sexy and clean, with the right hint of masculinity. It doesn't seem as overpowering as some "man" scents, but it definitely doesn't smell feminine. I can still smell it on him after a 9 hour day at work, and in my opinion it smells better when it has a chance to mingle with his natural scent. I usually don't like when guys wear cologne because I don't like the generic man smell, but this one is different to me somehow. If he decides to upgrade to a different cologne, I'd either buy him YSL L'homme (in my opinion it smells sort of similar), or Versace Eros (which smells even more clean).

Ok, I bought this because the youtubers were bragging on this, said it was the best Curve out there. So, I can’t say it’s the best Curve because it’s the only one I have knowingly smelled. Do I like it yes, to me it kind of has a cola smell more like Royal Crown. Performance is average and I really like the freshness of this Cologne. Blind buy, I did and you can! It is one of those anytime anywhere fragrances. Look for $19.99 this is a decent scent, I think it is a little bit of a hidden cheapie gem.

I REALLY enjoy this, and it gets compliments every time I wear it. It's a unique scent, stands on its own. It may have similarities to other things, but it's definitely original to me. My life was off track for some time, and I did not invest in any decent EDTs or otherwise, and this was the first I got in some years back in 2012 - a gift from a great friend. I'll have the bottle in my collection for years to come.

I have to say that this fragrance has really grown on me since I first purchased it. At first I thought that it was harsh and cheap, but now I kind of like it. Fruity and sharp but clean. Almost like a night-time version of original Curve. Good going-out cologne and it gets compliments. Men can't really go wrong with this one. Not my absolute favorite, but definitely a decent frag for the price.

One of my first colognes, I love this fragrance as it brings back many memories of my youth. It's such a young fragrance just like many cheapies, It Lacks sillage and longevity if the fragrance had better performance, I would definitely use it whenever and wherever 6/10

Used 3 sprays on my hand for testing purposes and was pleasantly surprised. Projection was about 2.5 feet and longevity was 12+ hours. The smell is nice and inoffensive, perfect as a dumb reach. Good bang for your buck scent.

Curve Crush is my second favorite in the curve line up to the black... it has a very similar smell and feeling to Ken Cole reaction in my opinion... its very nice average performer... good price.... smells wonderful!!!

Curve Crush for Men I previously reviewed Liz Claiborne Curve Crush for Men when I was still developing my nose and upon wearing it again, my opinion has slightly changed on it. Don't get me wrong, still a nice scent, especially for a cheapie work scent, but what it smells like is a tough nut to crack. Curve Crush for Men smells like several different scents and nothing else at the same time. It is really confusing because it takes from different scents like Frankenstein's monster, but it works. I've smelt others that don't :cough: :cough: Playboy King of Game :cough: :cough: Any who, Curve Crush for Men had elements of the original Curve for Men, Curve Black (a later flanker that sucks), Adidas Moves 0:01 Moment of Truth, Burberry Touch for Men, Usher VIP, Mercedes Benz Cologne and Coty Stetson Caliber. There is a violet overtone that isn't petrol which gives it the Burberry Touch and Stetson Caliber, Usher VIP feel. There is some citrus which helps with the Stetson Caliber feel and gives it a slight Mercedes vibe. There is a plastic feel like Curve for Men though I'm not sure what note that comes from. The Apple gives off a pear like feel similar to Moves. And there is a noticeable cedar note and a slightly there geranium. This is a perfect kick it scent and a work scent. I would not use this for dates though it smells nice because there are too many familial facets to Curve Crush. That and it might just be one of those high school locker room scents like Curve for Men, Cool Water and CK One are. Kids still wear these, trust me I worked in a high school for three years. Performance is alright especially for a cheapie. You get an hour and a half to two hours of good projection. It isn't beast mode, I mean it is a Curve fragrance after all, but it isn't CK Euphoria by any means. That said, it will last about six hours on skin. I never spray clothes but I had it lasts double that on clothes. Seasonality is pretty good. I think it is nearly all year. Winter it can work in warmer days like 40F and up. Spring and Fall this really shines. Summertime, this can work but less is more that time out year with any fragrance. It will just bake and project off your sweat leaving silage after it becomes a skin scent. Overall, if you want a cheap daily driver for work, errands and casual wear, this is an awesome get. If you want upscale office, skip because it is synthetic. If you want a date scent, pass because it is similar to a bunch of other citric woody spicy scents. If you want a club banger, maybe spray your shirt and use this in summer. If you liked Curve Black when you tested it, get this, Ferrari Uomo or Vince Camuto Homme instead. I rate Liz Claiborne Curve Crush for Men a fair and respectable 7 out of 10. When I wear it I miss I wearing it but I also remember why I don't wear it as often. Don't buy it for more than $20 for 125ml. Pass on it if you see it for higher.

Curve Crush is a unique one, in the Curve line of fragrances. It implores a cleaner style of scent to project its DNA, which lies with subtle influence in the original aromatic. When I smell curve, I get foremost a citrusy fragrance with underlying tones of soapy cleanness and hints of the original aromatic struggling to break through. Most people complain of the synthetic smell of Curve Crush, but I actually do not mind it, since the synthetic portion is fresh enough to take my mind off of it. It is probably the most clean smelling of the flankers, and I much prefer it to the original. All in all, it is also most likely the longest lasting with decent projection. I usually get around 6-8 hours from this one- excellent longevity for as cheap as it is! I love the smell of this one, and I know that it is a favorite among young men (and some women). Most college aged men will own this one, as it is cheap and affordable enough to wear without projecting too strongly. I like to wear this one on my days off, when I feel casual or wanting to substitute out one of my designer fragrances. Projection: 6/10 (Carries a cloud for first 1-2 hours) Longevity: 6/10 (6+ hours from this one) Versatility: 7/10 (Most informal events) Smell: 7/10 (A clean citrus)

Extremely underrated woody aquatic for the youth crowd/beginning fragrance head. This one will get you loads of compliments in the heat in close contact with females 25 and under and it's an extremely pleasing and uplifting citric green fragrance where the ginger, pear and bergamot really blend nicely and give off a very fresh vibe. Absolutely on my list of top 10 most underrated bargain fragrances for summer. The perfumers here did a great job of balancing a range of accords and stirring them up into a rather inoffensive and smart aquatic versatile enough to wear in spring, summer or early fall. The note pyramid here isn't what I'm picking up at all here, I get a lot of bergamot and pear early and plenty of ginger all the way through. You get a strong dose of classic Curve DNA in regards to aromatic lavender and spicy sage, but this one amps up the fruit, citrus and makes it a much fresher spicy vibe with coriander and ginger that give this a much more post-modern and versatile feel. Yes, projection here is rather subtle, even with heavy application, but let it work for you. 3-4 sprays is all you need and the subtlety will do its job.

Better than Expected, many people rate this low and this scent seems less popular then the others in the "curve" line selling cheaper than the rest Off the atomizer it smells a notch flowery/sweet/sporty. None of the notes are too overbearing otherwise it could easily make this spray unbalanced and cause me to dislike it alot. This is just within the boundaries of being descent for the price. I notice the flower scent, backed by some amber, slightly fruit then a sporty scent. Pretty strong off the spray(lights up a room) but dies down and becomes within reason catching a whiff of it off yourself and people nearby could probably smell you if you got within 4-5 feet. UPDATE 1: Stuff is stronger than most stuff I have, you can get by with like 1 spray on your shirt and 1 on your neck tops. Can still smell it later on myself in the stores and out and about. I would say def if you can get this cheap (as it often goes for) grab a bottle to have on your rotation. Im thinking about grabbing a big bottle for sub $10 I seen it on a source.

Dryer sheets mixed with soft woods, crispy acidic mandarin and tarty Granny Smith apple. Not a lot of complexity or sophistication but professionally blended and a solid release that has remained relevant on the market approaching twenty years in production. Performance is spotty on my skin, dissipating into a skin scent after the two hour mark but this is a very nice balanced accord and one where the geranium and apple here really hems in the citrus and woods and makes it smell far less invasive as other woody aquatic and citrus aromatic scents. This is a nice modern warm weather scent that could pass as a work scent as well and won’t be too invasive and is subtle yet present for the whole work day, Very decent value for high school and college kids especially, for the price point there’s very little to complain about and the cedar and mandarin are a real enjoyable aspect of the first hour of wear!

Scent wise, I think this is right up there with the original Curve. Which is to say, it's nice. As long as you're not expecting some top shelf high quality compliment machine. As long as you understand what this is. A budget friendly cologne. And I emphasize that word. Cologne. This isn't gonna be beast mode. This isn't gonna be a banger. I think I get better performance out of the original, but I also fully admit that Crush causes me to go anosmic fairly quick, where the original does not. So they may actually perform the same. Which, for what they are, isn't horrible.

Good fragrance and cheap. It's linear, but I don't get tired of it. A person can't complain about this considering the price tag. It could be good for young adults who want to wear it occasionally. Bought this because it was too good of deal to pass up a tester bottle along with shower gel. Figured I'd try it out for the price. It lasts a very long time on my skin and I can't always say that about every scent I wear. This is a very gender neutral scent and won't offend anyone if worn at the office. It can be worn year round but it's probably best suited for Summer evenings with friends. I love the scent but there is a lack of projection which keeps me from putting it in my top shelf scents.

Cheap as chips and certainly an easy go-to daily driver. That said, it may lean a little "cologne guy." It smells good, but unoriginal. Two scoops of laundry powder functional fragrance, one of classic/barbershop. The original men's Curve is more exciting, but a little rough around the edges. Crush is rather robotic in comparison. I picture it worn daily by a twenty-something new car salesman in khakis and a crisp white shirt, the little striver.

Someone sent me a sample of this in a swap. Somewhere in the reviews this is described as just coming out of the shower. I have to agree with this. I guess we both use the same showergel, lol. It's a nice scent and fresh but nothing special. I know there are no boundaries or whatever to age and wearing a specific perfume, but I don't think any man over the age of 25 should wear this.

Nice, fresh and a very easy reach. It has some similarities to the original Curve from 96'. This has a nice spice and a fresh apple accord that makes this easy to go for and it has some masculinity while being youthful. I'm telling you I reach for this quite a bit when I can't decide what to wear. People will think you smell good when you go places. I give this a 8.6/10

Curve Crush, to my nose, is subtle compared to other Crush varieties.The fragrance is outdoorsy, perfect for autumn months or AM hours in any season. Compliments come from those who've been in close proximity. I appreciate scents that don't radiate their presence and Curve Crush nails it. Appropriate age for Curve Crush? Does it matter? If you like it, wear it.

Nice and safe scent. Not very original but I enjoy using it before going to the gym and early in the morning in the warmer months. I've never used it for a night out or the like. Sillage and longevity are an issue with this one in my experience. It rarely lasts more than 3-4hrs on my skin, honestly. all in all, a solid 7.5/10. pleasant scent no doubt!

Literally last for hours and hours. I ordered a 200 mil bottle on amazon cause it was 26 dollars, I just got it today at 4pm, sprayed it on my wrist, its 4 am now, still smell it lingering (of course at this hour the projection is shot, but 12 hours! come on...thats pretty insane).

Very first cologne I ever bought. It was good for the price and lasted me a while, big on fresh citrus and floral fruity scent. A pretty feminine scent more for younger people I agree with Deefit a old person wearing this wouldn't be appropriate

woody, musky, aromatic, a little citrus and fruity. A nice masculine scent with a great cheap price tag but has good performance. Very safe and mass appealing good to have in the collection for a dumb reach. I really like this scent.

Another good fragrance from the Curve family. The Curve collection is a great way for a young man or a cologne novice to build a collection inexpensively, while smelling very good in the process.

Used to wear this a lot and loved it enough to buy a second bottle. My palette has become more refined since so i would say i like it. But for something you can buy at walmart its pretty awesome.

Not bad, kind of cheap smelling compared to other colognes I own, has a powdery smell that I dislike, a bit like Hugo by Boss, but the actual overall fragrance is nice, citrusy, sporty.

Say what you will about the quality of this stuff, there isn't a girl I have met that didn't absolutely love it. The proof is in the pudding.

The scent is nice better than most

It smells really good but then again that isn't saying much when it is literally shower gel in a cologne form. Not even joking, I've had multiple soapy scents but this by fair takes the crown in "wow, I'm spraying shower gel on myself". It's good but it really isn't anything special and looking back on it after getting way more fragrances in my collection, I will not be buying it again nor will I wear it much anymore. If I want to smell like a shower, I'll take a shower. That's the last thing I want to do is take a nice clean shower to put on a scent and it end up smelling like shower gel.

This was the first fragrance I ever purchased in my teens. It's been quite a long time since those days and I don't really remember how it smells, but what I do know is it seemed to "get the job done". I have to leave a review just as a testimony to the first fragrance that started it all for me so many years ago.

Mild apple and orange on a bed of cedar synthesis. Mild spicy nuance. Overly blended. Not smooth. Cheap and youthful scent. To its benefit, this has a nice and crisp apple note, or so it seems as it’s buried in the mix. The orange accord gives off cleaning product vibes.

A rainy summer night in a bottle! Fresh and sweet with showergel vibes, i like it. Smells little cheap but still wearable. Original is better but this is something I reach for when feeling relaxed at home. Performance is pretty bad as i agree with other reviewers.

Nothing special, only lasted 1-2 hours before becoming a skin sent for the next 7 hours😂 Nice easy to wear sent, dirt cheap. Good casual or Gym sent 6/10
