Curve Soul for Men

Have had this steady for 4 years now. On my 6th bottle, I buy the 1.7 oz size as the 3.4 oz size is harder to find, and the price is always overinflated and above $25. Not sure what "Lockon" the reviewer before me is talking about (he quoted 3.4 oz size for $10 bucks), I've never ever seen the 3.4 oz under $25. That being said, it's still very affordable. I've had a few of the curve scents over the years, original curve which I thought was not good and well below average, and connect which I though was respectable but I probably would never buy again. I took a chance on Curve Soul as an Amazon reviewer said it was a bit stronger, darker and more refined scent than the other curves, (it definitely is along with Curve Black). I was happily surprised I found Curve Soul and Curve Black. This scent has a great sandalwood, spicy (pepper), Amber, with notes of cinnamon, leather and violet for me with the initial spray ( I don't get bamboo or orange at all) On initial spray it is very nice, after a minute or two, it smells absolutely amazing. If you like original curve, this smells nothing at all like original curve. If you like Curve Black, this is a nice addition to that type of scent and the Curve line. Curve Soul is not a typical, light, fruity, citrus scent. This is a great scent for a date when you'll know you're going to be intimate with that girl, good for weddings and new years eve's. Sillage is a bit strong, may not be the best option for work, although after 3-4 hours, it's very light smelling on you and your clothes. Ratings: Scent:8.5 A really beautiful scent here. Sillage:6 Somewhat strong for a Claiborne curve scent Longevity: 4, Not great longevity Overall:7.5, if it lasted longer, this would easily be another top 10 fragrance. Curve Soul, Curve Black and Curve crush are really the only three Curve scents worth buying, reviewing and keeping in your rotation.

I bought this unsniffed after reading the back of the box and am so very glad I did. I used up the small bottle and then bought a larger size. This one is a favorite of my best friend who is Italian and doesn't like anything too woody, flowery or spicy... This starts off fresh in every sense of the word: citruses, lush water bamboo and green apple; not too fruity or too green. As it devlops it has the masculinity of lavender and sage in it but also the sweet kiss of violet and the succulence of lychee(one of my favorite fruits). These are interwoven so seemlessly that it is almost impossible to separate them. Soul is my favorite LC womens fragrance and this is the perfect consort for Her. The drydown is balanced wonderfully between the woody cedar and sandalwood, the warmth of spices and amber and the earthiness of vetiver and moss. This has a flawless blend of some pretty great scents and has a sensual side without being "dirty" and a spiritual vibe without being all "new-agey", it is aptly named and has Soul... Sillage: decent Longevity: above average Overall: 4.25/5 This is a great date scent but could also be good for just wearing to experience its sweet fresh natural aroma. The soul is eternal and lives on after we are gone, in other expressions and forms, this scent lasts a long time also before fading into the ethers and continuing its journey, but it leaves something behind that becomes a part of us and our memories, enriching us...

How beautyful scent it is! I bought it from USA not long ago with Claiborne Sport for men and Lucky You. I've found C. Soul the best. I love bamboo note and in Curve Soul I smell the most natural bamboo leaf. Mixing it with litchi and apple makes it fresh and clean. With flowery notes (violet and lavender) Soul became a good date-scent 'cause these notes are so romantic with fruits :) Cedar and sandalwood add to it a soft masculine woodyness. It's strong enough and staying power + sillage is good on my skin. The box and the bottle is beautyful for me , I love them :) Unfortunately Claiborne scents are almost unknown in Europe, so hard to get them..

High level, broad stroke review/perspective? This is absolutely lovely, it definitely separates itself from the rest of the Curve line. Not completely, as you can still smell remnants of the lineage but... definitely more mature and wow, what a great bottle of juice to have in your collection. Woodsy yet sweet, citrusy but not, it is just a pleasure. That's my two-cents, and I'm not even a fan of the Curve product set... I'm not against it, just not a fan. But this is a must have, the value you get in the quality of the juice plus its aroma & longevity should make it a no-brainer =)

I've actually started wearing this a bit, although I don't think I could call it even a tiny bit unisex. I hate the Curve products for women, but always seem to notice and like Curve for men when someone around me is wearing it. Curve Soul seems to take everything I like about the original and make it even better. It's great to have around when I'm sick of the super feminine perfumes I usually go for. Something about it is just really comforting. Not the most exciting for a guy's signature cologne, though.
