Curve Soul for Men

Have had this steady for 4 years now. On my 6th bottle, I buy the 1.7 oz size as the 3.4 oz size is harder to find, and the price is always overinflated and above $25. Not sure what "Lockon" the reviewer before me is talking about (he quoted 3.4 oz size for $10 bucks), I've never ever seen the 3.4 oz under $25. That being said, it's still very affordable. I've had a few of the curve scents over the years, original curve which I thought was not good and well below average, and connect which I though was respectable but I probably would never buy again. I took a chance on Curve Soul as an Amazon reviewer said it was a bit stronger, darker and more refined scent than the other curves, (it definitely is along with Curve Black). I was happily surprised I found Curve Soul and Curve Black. This scent has a great sandalwood, spicy (pepper), Amber, with notes of cinnamon, leather and violet for me with the initial spray ( I don't get bamboo or orange at all) On initial spray it is very nice, after a minute or two, it smells absolutely amazing. If you like original curve, this smells nothing at all like original curve. If you like Curve Black, this is a nice addition to that type of scent and the Curve line. Curve Soul is not a typical, light, fruity, citrus scent. This is a great scent for a date when you'll know you're going to be intimate with that girl, good for weddings and new years eve's. Sillage is a bit strong, may not be the best option for work, although after 3-4 hours, it's very light smelling on you and your clothes. Ratings: Scent:8.5 A really beautiful scent here. Sillage:6 Somewhat strong for a Claiborne curve scent Longevity: 4, Not great longevity Overall:7.5, if it lasted longer, this would easily be another top 10 fragrance. Curve Soul, Curve Black and Curve crush are really the only three Curve scents worth buying, reviewing and keeping in your rotation.

I bought this unsniffed after reading the back of the box and am so very glad I did. I used up the small bottle and then bought a larger size. This one is a favorite of my best friend who is Italian and doesn't like anything too woody, flowery or spicy... This starts off fresh in every sense of the word: citruses, lush water bamboo and green apple; not too fruity or too green. As it devlops it has the masculinity of lavender and sage in it but also the sweet kiss of violet and the succulence of lychee(one of my favorite fruits). These are interwoven so seemlessly that it is almost impossible to separate them. Soul is my favorite LC womens fragrance and this is the perfect consort for Her. The drydown is balanced wonderfully between the woody cedar and sandalwood, the warmth of spices and amber and the earthiness of vetiver and moss. This has a flawless blend of some pretty great scents and has a sensual side without being "dirty" and a spiritual vibe without being all "new-agey", it is aptly named and has Soul... Sillage: decent Longevity: above average Overall: 4.25/5 This is a great date scent but could also be good for just wearing to experience its sweet fresh natural aroma. The soul is eternal and lives on after we are gone, in other expressions and forms, this scent lasts a long time also before fading into the ethers and continuing its journey, but it leaves something behind that becomes a part of us and our memories, enriching us...

How beautyful scent it is! I bought it from USA not long ago with Claiborne Sport for men and Lucky You. I've found C. Soul the best. I love bamboo note and in Curve Soul I smell the most natural bamboo leaf. Mixing it with litchi and apple makes it fresh and clean. With flowery notes (violet and lavender) Soul became a good date-scent 'cause these notes are so romantic with fruits :) Cedar and sandalwood add to it a soft masculine woodyness. It's strong enough and staying power + sillage is good on my skin. The box and the bottle is beautyful for me , I love them :) Unfortunately Claiborne scents are almost unknown in Europe, so hard to get them..

High level, broad stroke review/perspective? This is absolutely lovely, it definitely separates itself from the rest of the Curve line. Not completely, as you can still smell remnants of the lineage but... definitely more mature and wow, what a great bottle of juice to have in your collection. Woodsy yet sweet, citrusy but not, it is just a pleasure. That's my two-cents, and I'm not even a fan of the Curve product set... I'm not against it, just not a fan. But this is a must have, the value you get in the quality of the juice plus its aroma & longevity should make it a no-brainer =)

I've actually started wearing this a bit, although I don't think I could call it even a tiny bit unisex. I hate the Curve products for women, but always seem to notice and like Curve for men when someone around me is wearing it. Curve Soul seems to take everything I like about the original and make it even better. It's great to have around when I'm sick of the super feminine perfumes I usually go for. Something about it is just really comforting. Not the most exciting for a guy's signature cologne, though.

curve soul is very romantic type of cologne, its alot different from the rest of the curve line..this is good for special occassion and dates..it last longer in my skin. only bad thing about it is everybody is wearing it from were i live..(kinda sad) liz claiborne is really popular, but she made good fragrances with a descent price..

I think this is the best curve fragrance, I got a little mini of this stuff and I have to say it has a great smell. For a fougere this is a nice one, compared to many of the herbal types of scents on the market

It's been a long time since I've smelled this, but it was my favorite Curve besides the original. It had a big dose of that original Curve DNA, but it had a nice crisp sharpness especially the top notes.

When I first purchased this I did not like it. I thought it smelled to flowery, but once the initial floral scent die down it is very pleasant. Not too powerful, just kinda subtle.

it's ok but curve is dead and everyone is wearin it....this is a tad bit more masculine and its deeper so its a good buy if u want a nice cheap one

This cologne did not "soul" me out. Ok just kidding but this little gem is quite good in my humble opinion. I am a sucker for woody fragrances and this is right up alley even if it has Curve in the name. Nothing against Curve because this is my 5th review involving a fragrance with the word Curve in it's name. The fist spray has a dark rich opening that will mellow out to become woody in good way. It is not mind blowing but pleasant and it will not offend anyone. Soul does die out quick in hot weather so I prefer to wear it in fall or spring times. It will not scare the "soul" out of you. Ok enough of the puns just try the darn thing! 8 out of 10

A pleasant light fragrance, quite subdued, this is perhaps due to the bamboo (whatever that smells like) being mixed with the fruity top notes. Even with multiple generous sprays, it is gone in slightly over an hour (in hot weather): it would probably last better in cooler weather or in the evenings. In all fairness, I do, however, have acidic skin that seems to destroy lighter fragrances in hotter weather (metal watches as well)- so perhaps it will last better on other people. Since it is really a warm or hot weather fragrance to some degree it defeats the object of buying it (at least for me).

I've tried most of Liz Claiborne "Curve" fragrances. This one is my favorite so far. Perfect for anytime and anywhere. It smells nice on me. Aromatic plus some woods,fruit and spices. I read the fragrance notes for the first time today and got surprise of what this cologne has in it. It could almost be Oriental cause it has bamboo and Litchee fragrance notes in it. The drydown smells the best on me. It smells kind of sensual. I think this one and the rest of the "Curve" mens' colognes would be great for younger guys just starting to think about wearing fragrances.

Blind bought this last year. I just opened the box 2 days ago. Nice fragrance for the price! Curve has been a favorite cologne for me for some time. This one has the original vibe with a hint of wood and some spice playing in the background. The cologne projects well for the first few hours but for the price it don't hurt to reapply.. Good blind buy!

I always come back to this fragrance because it just works. It fits every occasion and every season. It's very similar to the original curve, but it certainly is a much fresher scent. You can go heavy on the trigger without offending anyone; in fact, I encourage you to go trigger happy if you want greater sillage and longevity.

Very clean. Not quite barbershop and not quite aqua but somewhere in the middle if that makes any sense. I do sense some light musk. Maybe white musk. This is a very off the chart fragrance but pleasing to the senses. Not dazzling. Definately linear. Recommend for casual usage in all types of weather.

I wish there was a smoother/more grown-up version of this. This was one of my first fragrances in my collection in my teen years, it was definitely a little different than all the blue/sporty stuff. Nice earthy/green/herbal scent, but overall synthetic and not long lasting.

This was my go to bottle of cologne around 7th or 8th grade. I remember it smelling very good but very different from the original curve. This has a woody spicy vibe to it so you can also wear it around fall. Great scent for someone who isn't a collector.

Nice, spicy, linear scent. Makes me think of aftershave with a warm vibe--nothing extraordinary. Of all my collection, this is one of the few scents the wife has complimented me on every time. A bit of a sleeper.

This one is just OK for me. Gives you a nice fresh spicy vibe. Very cheap, so wouldn't hurt to blind buy if you're looking for something simple that just smells decent. ~7/10

Total blind buy. I have to say Im really impressed!! Especially the dry down. Price is lower end but quality is definitly not.

Way too light and simple to the point where it's really not worth it. There's hardly any fragrance here. There are so many other affordable fragrances out there nowadays that there's really no reason to venture into this territory of Liz Claiborne fragrances that really aren't serious fragrances to begin with. Pass on this.

It's somewhat pleasant but it is no more than a cologne, and a very light and insignificant one at that. Granted, "cologne" in the literal 2-4% fragrance concentration sense, not in the American sense where they call any mens fragrance, be it an eau de toilette or parfum, "cologne". Simply put, there are far better options out there within the same price range, if not at a cheaper price. Even the cheaper Classic Old Spice Cologne (not the lighter aftershave) or Brut are both far more masculine, timeless, and serious men scents with much better projection.

The perfume pyramid lists bamboo leaf as a top note, but it may as well be in the base for the longevity it has in this fragrance. And it's not subtle about it, either. The rest of the fragrance is a very nice, fresh men's fragrance that fits pretty well in the Curve family of fragrances, but then.... BAMBOO. Lots and lots of BAMBOO. (⊙__⊙); If, for whatever reason, you absolutely love the smell of bamboo, give this a go. Otherwise, just pass on it, because you're not missing much.

This is really pleasant. Spicy, woody, unisex, and sweet enough to draw both men and women to wear it. Think of the scent bomb in your typical preppy surfer mall store...you know, the ones with the moose and the bird repping their polos and board shorts...and then subtract all the sharpness, preppy vibes, and pretentiousness and you have Curve Soul. This scent is casual and laid back and doesn't try too hard. It is so pleasant you can't go wrong with it.

A nice addition to the curve line-up. Light, floral and fruity, the bamboo top note is quite nice as it mixes with sweetened lichi, apple, violet, hints of spice and lavender. It drys down quickly to a very quiet woody base. Overall, a very pleasant, reticent and fleeting fragrance; inoffensive, great for casual outings and office wear.

A solid and winning bamboo and violet leaf accord, with a hint of the original Curve DNA in the base. This won't blow anyone away, but if you're looking for a low-key and inoffensive daily-driver, Curve Soul is your ticket. Now discontinued, but reissued as Curve Black, which is "Diet" Soul: The same thing, only cheaper.

I like this on my husband, luckily he just sort of lets me try scents out on him, all that matters to him is if I like it. He wasn't much help, just gave me the opinion of "It's good." Men never are much help in this department I've found. But ladies, this is great for your guy! Recommend!

This scent was very unique and definately darker and spicier than the original curve while still maintaining the signature curve smoothness and performance. I could see highschoolers rocking this in the colder months.

It last about 6 hours... Sillage arm's length skin. Smells okay... It's cheap...like ten bucks for 3.4 oz bottle. GThis is the only Curve i would suggest for anyone above 21.

the citrus and spice notes fuse together rather niceley. true to its soul.ciao!
