Lucky You

I like to think of this as Mugler Cologne for a younger audience, although it's not as soapy nor as bitter but rather sweeter and more floral. I went through 2 bottles of this in my teens and for good reason. It just works! No other fragrance I've tried truly captures the complexity of Spring like Lucky You. Call me crazy! The floral opening, with the cotton flower and melilotus herb, blends so nicely with the woody notes in the heart and base. I also get a hint of vetiver throughout the life of the fragrance as well. Longevity is about 4-6 hours and it's projection is moderate. The best part is that a 3.4 oz can be had for under $20 and the shower gel and lotion can be had for a few extra bucks give or take. Either way, it's a wonderful cheapie that's great for the summer and spring months. Now, imagine yourself in a giant field out in the countryside in the middle of spring. The air is not at all humid. It's just a cool, breezy day, partly coudly, and everything around you seems alive. The field is full of dark green grass with flowers scattered about as they sway in the breeze. You're sitting under the shade of a giant oak tree just admiring nature in all it's beauty and wonder. You close your eyes and nature's aroma puts you at peace. That's what Lucky You is for me. I love this stuff!

This is the coldest, freshest fragrance I've ever smelled. I'm not claiming that a 30 dollar fragrance is one of the best on the market, but it's definitely the freshest. Definitely leaning towards unisex, but it's a distinguishably masculine smell due to the very soft sandalwood bass note. The musk is extremely light, but the floral and fresh notes really project, and they will continue to project throughout its dry. It's a eau de toilette, so it has a higher concentration of alcohol, which actually projects like a note. The alcohol is key in the freshness and coldness of this fragrance. The downside of it being a EDT is it doesn't last long, but I think that's okay with this fragrance. It will last around 4-5 hours solid, and the projection is not discordant. It's very consistent, smells the same from the minute it's sprayed to its dry drown. Super youthful, very good for price. I'd argue bamboo is the strongest top note of this fragrance.

An Amazing scent that is terrible fresh out the sprayer, but it turns in to one on the best smells created. This scent was the 1st "real" cologne I had. I bought it in High School for $70.00 at the Buckle. Very Nostalgic for me, reminds me of partying with friends and makes me feel like in in a 12 year time warp back to 2002-2003 hustling for beer and bud. Mowing lawns and helping people just to get our buzzes on. Simple, but great times.

Simply Good. Wore this scent for over a decade. Clean, fresh and green with a touch of wood.
