Depending on the weather, the dry down may resemble a greener remix of Platinum Egoiste or Calvin Klein's Escape. Yet, there are times when the base remains somewhat linear to my nose, and I get hints of Chaps with fresher spicy aromatics. Originally Released in 1993, this fragrance is far from dated; it still turns heads when I wear it.The best part is its staying power; I get at least a good 4-6 hours of 6+ ft projection and an impressive 24 hours of 2-ft projections from about 4-5 sprays. Perfect for summer or spring, even for Halloween and Thanksgiving. However, it can be a challenge to wear this daily due to its brash intensity. It's a loud, unique, and beautiful fragrance in its own right. I recommend it for those who appreciate fougères with an edge. this seems to be out of production in the USA get it while it's still cheap....a true hidden gem of the line...

I first encountered elpaso perfume in 1997, though it was originally released in 1993, not 2002. I received it as a gift, and from that moment, it became a signature scent for me, I ended up purchasing it about six times in total over the years. My last bottle was in 2003. Top: Bright citrus likely bergamot or lemon opening the fragrance with a clean, refreshing zing. Middle: A gentle aromatic heart. Possibly light herbs or floral tones like lavender or neroli, adding a smooth, airy quality. Base: A subtle woody dry down think soft cedarwood or sandalwood that anchors the scent in warmth and subtle masculinity without being overpowering. The original formula struck a beautiful balance: light, elegant, and fresh, with a crisp citrusy introduction that gently transitioned into a soft, woody finish. 2003 latest purchase for me on this perfume, If you’ve smelled it more recently, there’s a good chance it has been reformulated, as many classics have. As a personal experience for the latest bottle Citrus notes are less vibrant, The woodiness feels more synthetic or faint and Longevity might be reduced even further The newer version, while still carrying some of the DNA of the original, doesn’t quite match the refined complexity of the late 90s to early 2000s editions.

In the sultry summers and wet monsoons, most women's fragrances turn cloyingly sweet on my naturally sweet scented skin. So, when the humidity is at 96%, I reach for El Paso. The original (darker, resinous liquid) bottle takes me straight to a scene in El Paso, Texas: I find myself in the midst of a desert monsoon storm, the intoxicating scent of wet earth fills my senses as grey clouds cover the sky, a ha-boob is impending, large raindrops begin to fall from heavy sheets of cloud and golden sand rises from slowly dampening dust. As the wind strokes my hair, now flying loose of my silk scarf, the moment itself is seductive. I have been driving for miles in my convertible, as I roll up the canvas top, the gas meter is running low, I am in the middle of nowhere, when in a distant mirage, I suspect a green sign with a single arrow pointing right. I follow it, running into an old ghost town. As I turn off the engine, I hear faint music coming from the only place seemingly having life, the saloon bar. I run out of my car, my chiffon dress, now soaked in rainwater, heady notions spinning, I burst through the wooden double doors, finding myself in a sea of mysterious cowboys, rangers, all men. The tension and seduction is thick, all eyes are on me. This is El Paso.

The first time that i wore this scent was in 1999 so It's impossible that this perfume was launched in 2002. This is an amazing scent (is too cheap but offers the same as the most expensive scents). Is woody and spicy. It has something that makes it very mystical and exotic. I think that the prominent note y cloves. Anyway, for me this fragrance was reformulated because its a bit different from the 2000, but despite of that this steel being an excellent scent. La primera que usé este perfume fue en el año 1999 asi que es imposible que haya sido lanzado en el 2002. Es un perfume maravilloso (es demasiado barato pero tiene las prestaciones de una fragancia de las mas caras). Es amaderado y especiado. Pienso que la nota mas prominete es la del clavo. Para mi que ésta fragancia fue reformulada por que es algo diferente desde el 2000, pero apesar de ello, sigue siendo un excelente perfume.

ahh, nostalgia. it launched in 2002!! lol, fragrantica you better work on your research, the first time I smelled El Paso was a deodorant spray a friend gave it to me in "1995", I was a teenager at that time and my experience in fragrances wasn't that much, so I didn't know that there was a perfume version of it until 1998, man, this frag is so fresh, manly and addictively. first of all, there is no middle phase in this frag only two phases opening and ending because the drydown is as same as the opening, so it opens like aromatic woody citrussy powdery combo and the ending phase comes after maybe three hours depending on how much you sprayed, morphs to a musky powdery scent, it has a moderate longevity and sillage. it is a rare gem by lomani. scent:9/10 longevity:8/10 sillage:7/10 overall: 9/10

I would pay for this scent just what I pay for a Tom Ford if this fragrance had not been reformulated. Now this fragrance still being a very good scent just like one of the YSL or Chanel houses and because of its price, it continue being a very very very good choice. But, even so...I am very disappointed since it was reformulated. Before it happened, El Paso was incredible, awesome, amazing, the best in the world, I can not describe the pleasure that smelling this scent produced in me...now it is just a very good scent...very disappointing :( The first time that I wore this scent was in 1999, then, it's impossible to be launched in 2002. Why did you reformulated this masterpice? Why Lomani? Why????

This is a fresh summer scent .. stolen together from Perfumes you already know like - Dior Dune, CK Eternity and CK Escape. And that is not a bad thing. It is well done and I got here and there old memories when wearing this. It is an old shoolish summer scent and it comes here in Germany for 2,50 € so that you can`t really complain about that! So go out and try , this is really appreciatable and fresh citrussy as it gets with metallic vibes and fruity elements , and not sweet but uplifting and charismatic in my opinion. thanks for reading!

Amazing find for a blind buy! I tried the body spray and gave this EDT a shot. I can pick up almost all the notes in it, lemon,lavender,clove, juniper, sandalwood and musk are more prominent to my nose.A very decent and pleasant scent. Stays for 6+ hrs which is great! Its very cheap and does not smell cheap. Can't go wrong here in blind buying. Highly recommended for about $13. The quality of the scent falls in $30 - $40 scents like the Dunhill, Mont blanc, Mercedes, Bentley etc. Scent 8/10 Sillage 6/10 Longevity 9/10 Value 9/10

El Paso by Lomani! Here you go! So so unique scent which I fell in love in high school time In 200-2001 but by wrong it’s written 2002 in introduction. Any way unique long lasting (for me) lasts about 6-4 hours on skin and 2days on clothes. I mostly prefer it in colder seasons. Sure you cannot please everybody but I don’t think so can go wrong with it. It’s not hate and love scent. It’s safe clean-spicy and definitely a hidden gem. It will be in my heart forever! This smells like a 50/50 mix of lomani pour homme and the original Pino Silvestre. Very green and piney in the dry down. Decent offering for the price, a very classic scent profile, which was already “dated” when this came out in 2002 i guess. I don’t really get the name and bottle design though, nothing about this fragrance evokes pictures of texas/the south west USA. Get a bottle if you’re into fougeres/green fresh scents, it’s pretty cheap and a safe blind buy if you know this genre well.

I don't understand the comparison to Chaps, which is a synthetic, in your face drugstore 80's scent. Other than the western-inspired packaging, the two are far apart. This is a quite gentle, modern fougere, a younger, friendlier version of the older school Lomani for Men. Citrus, juniper sizzle, lots of aromatic lavender and jasmine. Closer to Issey Miyake L'eau d'Issey, and the Platinum Egoiste comparison works too.

I used to wear it as a teenage girl back in 1999...yep, I was different to a lot of other girls who adored Tommy Girl and Blue Water. I also disliked strong floral and sweet scents for some strange reason so El Paso was a winner for me. From memory it was very clean, spicy and aromatic. I could easily afford it on my small budget but it had a good lasting power and moderate silliage.

Originally RELEASED IN 1993. Citrus yet manly as hell, picture a lonely tumbleweed on a road which you see the thermals rising from where it soon leads to Las Vegas! Don't tell anybody how you got there!

This excellent fragrance was released back in 1993, not 2002. It is a perfect scent for hot summer days, and during the later dry-down you get an amazing smell of what I can describe as rain on hot pavement on a summer day after the sun reappears. The mist that rises from the concrete and the greenery that surrounds it. This is a surprisingly really good fragrance.

I love wearing El Paso fragrance. It seems to awaken some scent memory from my childhood that I can't quite put my finger on. It's like a dream that I can't fully remember or a place that I long to revisit. I am glad that there are still bottles of this perfume available at reasonable prices, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience its beauty.

Excellent cheapie. I was highly impressed with El Paso, especially considering the price point. This also a frag that could be rebranded and sold for 10x the asking price. More of an informal wear and a solid choice when youre not sure what to reach for that day.

El Paso Lomani Cheap and very nice barbershopy classic. Abit similar to platinum Egoiste so just get it and use anywhere everywhere overspray as it cost only $6 usd.

Smells similar to DoIt by Lomani but brighter

A couple of days ago, I crossed one of my friends - not at all an afficionado or a perfume collector - and I was surprised by his wonderful scented aura. - What do you wear today?, I asked. He was confused. - Sincerelly, I don't remember. Something rather inexpensive, a kind of "no name" - he said. It was my turn to be confused. What kind of "no name" is it - and still so wonderfully smelling?! That night my friend called me. - Just to let you know. It was El Paso - by Lomani. The next day - you guessed - I found it (yes, easelly) in a store and I made it mine, at a very convenient price (around 10 euros, in fact less). Not to love - but definitelly something to like. Younger (in age & in spirit - i.e. more citrus and less spicy) than Azzaro Pour Homme, a kind of sweetless and very confortable Biagiotti's Roma Uomo. For the next 4 hours, what you'll leave behind will surprise you - and (as I said) others too. A deserved 8 (or even 8+) /10

El Paso is a really nice, hidden gem. It's a basic fragrance that's an easy reach any time of the year, day or night. Nothing profound, just a nice smelling, masculine fragrance without any sweetness with very good performance - surprising given the price. I can sorta distinguish different notes as it dries down when sprayed on paper. On my skin, it goes straight from a citrus bomb to a really nice, smooth juniper-wood-oak moss with a touch of cloves scent in about a minute or two. I use it as my go-to for an easily controlled fragrance when the situation calls for something more tame than my usual. Two to six sprays on the skin and a couple of sprays on clothes if the situation warrants something more pronounced. A nice scent for any guy's fragrance arsenal available at a ridiculously low price given the quality.

This is to me a slightly brighter, more citrusy, warmer-weather version of Lomani Pour Homme. I can't claim to pick up many of the notes, but I get a sweet citrus (not like a pure citrus from Guerlain), aromatic/fresh spicy, and some aquatic notes, which I don't see listed. Fairly linear, informal, fun. Like Lomani Pour Homme, I get plenty of performance, which can't always be said of warm-weather fragrances. I don't understand those who say it's gone in 20 minutes, which is not my experience at all. Lomani performs. I would recommend as a blind buy given its low price tag and versatility. I don't put it up on the same pedestal as Lomani Pour Homme--which I think is an incredible fragrance and value--but it's a nice bottle for the collection that can be put to use.

An interesting cheapy which gets the job done very well. Surely reformulated but still a good bargain. Opening is citrus with the mix of clove and musk being prominent. Decent longevity and sillage, not for special occasions of course but this inoffensive and relaxing product can be used year round for casual use. I prefer to layer the EDT (which is spicier) with its deodorant (which is more citrusy fresh) to get a lasting impact and better sillage. Thumbs up to Lomani.

Soft sweet Italian style modern fougere not as floral as notes suggest , it's soft spicy airy ..not smelt RL Chaps but if you softly spiced up CK One made it bit woodier some soft dry green aromatics sage and pinch of eucalyptus you'd get this .Not super strong but it's pleasant and clean warm relaxing ..not for hot summer not fresh enough or cold winter , not warm enough . OMG...! Class ,matured perfume if worn sensible. True! you must have heard "Less is more"- This statement holds true for El Paso EDT. Just 2 sprays; one in the chest,one in the neck..thats it..you are set to go! This juice makes me think -all thats cheap are not indeed cheap! In the vein of Drakkar Noir, Lomani PH and similar scents released in the early 90s before the aquatic and blue craze took over It's a barbershop, fresh spicy and clean. Well blended and masculine. It does have vibes of Chaps by Ralph Lauren which may have inspired the composition and the name El Paso.

This smells just like Ketel One Oranje vodka, but in a good way. It's a fairly unique scent with an appropriate name that gives off a Tex-Mex vibe. I can see myself wearing this on vacation, but not as a daily wear. Average-to-good longevity, which is amazing for a Lomani fragrance.

Yup, this one is quite cheap but smells expensive for me. from the first spray all I feel is calm and mature. no harsh or choking aroma, but so cool, calm and confident. I love this one .... my friend can not even recognise this one....great ! they keep guessing what I wear .

Meh... It's OK.. I don't detect any spices. Only lemon and skunky musk. At first it smells like a cheap malt liquor. The dry down is better but the opening isn't at all what I expected from Lomani. This is the only Lomani fragrance that I found to be a wee bit disappointing.

My first fragrance, very pleasant smell at first but fades into just wood in about 1 hour. The citrus is more prominent in the bottle than on the skin. Not strong if you want something subtle

Although the bottle gives off an oldschool vibe the scent is definitely more modern than it looks. Its pleasant fresh and slightly green.

Here is a good citrus, supplemented with a friendly assertion of clove based spiciness, that works nicely in both cool and warm weather.

Beautiful scent, shame it doesn't last beyond the grocery store trip.

Newly opened 2023 bottle. Burst of lemony greeness smelled wonderful in the air but immediately turned nondescript on my skin, then vanished (no, I'm not noseblind). I didn't give much for it but what I gave is too much. Houbigant Navigator does much the same but doesn't insta-disappear so I'll stick with that. Too many modern fragrances should be relabeled as deodorants since that's about all they're good for, performance-wise.

Altering my earlier review. Discovered that, at least with my bottle, heavier spraying is required. Now I get a fuller fresh-spicy soapiness that's a little unusual but nice.

I bought Lomani El Paso recently, a blind buy, out of curiosity as I really like their AB Spirit Millionaire and Lomani Pour Homme quite a bit. Well. I read nothing but good reviews for this stuff but my experience isn't that. I started out, the first test, with a few spritzes, forearms and neck. The fragrance was passably acceptable but it didn't last 15 minutes. The next day I literally sprayed on 20 or so hefty sprays until my forearms were glistening wet. 30 minutes later - nothing, gone. So, unless my smeller suddenly shot craps, this stuff is crap. This bottle will spend its ignominious existence relegated to the "out of sight out of mind" category. Don't waste your money.

I belong to a small town from india.. back in early 90s i was gifted this by a friend when i was in school.. And i used to have ONLY this as deo..for school..for party...after sport..bathroom/room freshner.. It spent well few months with me before bidding adieu.. Now when i have several of high end perfumes on my shelf..i recently purchased this for a change.. And WOW..it replenished the old school memories..el paso+indian summers=masterpeice.. :)

Lomani El Paso is a worthy cheapie with a simple yet classic profile that leans masculine and old school. The branding and bottle style is wacky, very 90s, and not at all representative of the contents of the bottle. There isn't much here that necessarily suggests any thing western or cowboy, besides some light herbal hints and maybe the slightly woody/musky base. Had there been more prominent sage or herbs, or a slightly more camphorous or creosote-y quality + some leather I could see it fitting the bill. Moving on from the mismatched name/branding, the scent is actually good for the bargain basement price is goes for. It opens strong with citrus/lemon but quickly settles down to a soft base of sandalwood and non-descript woods, plus a little muskiness. It doesn't scream natural or high quality ingredients, but doesn't come off anywhere near some of the toxic waste that is out there in this price point. It settles down very quickly to a skin scent, and your mileage will vary how well this base reacts with your skin. I actually love this simple profile, and would love this scent as daily driver if it featured a little more realism in the woody notes and was taken up a notch as far longevity. As is, it's definitely worth a look as far as cheapies and shrines to the early 90s. Personally I'm a big fan of the kitschy bottle, and the scent is nice on a warm sunny day. It probably won't knock your socks off compared to more upscale perfumes, but I'm happy to have it in my collection.

چند روز پیش تو یه مغازه بودیم داشت جنس جدید باز می‌کرد ، تو جنساش ال پاسو هم بود چون قبلش چند تا عطر تست کرده بودم، دیگه ال پاسو رو تست نکردم ، ولی برام جالب بود که ال پاسو در اصل یه جعبه حلبی بلند داره ، که توش بسته مقوایی (عکس بالا) هست و یه شیشه سمپل کوچیک اشانتیون، ولی فروشنده ها اون سمپلو برمیدارن و بسته حلبی رو دور میندازن و فقط بسته معمولی رو می‌دن به مشتری It comes in a slightly bigger tin box with a cardboard box (picture above) and a small sample, but some retailers keep the sample and tin box and sell only the cardboard box.

That was one on my first fragrances in college,I still remember how unusual and harshly-pleasant was this scent.I don't think that sandalwood is a dominant note here.I always felt guilty to spray more than 2 sprays,the scent is very noticeable and people around You will definitely ask you-what are you wearing,sadly,I was never able to enjoy the scent because of it since those days my classes were mostly in the hospital setting.But, I am going to give it a try again plus it's only 14 $ on ebay.

Like most here, I always consider the situations I'll be in before choosing my fragrance. When I want to smell good without leaving a trail, I wear El Paso. It's clean and smells really nice without massive projection. Perfect for a business meeting or in a crowd. I pick up all the notes described. Groundbreaking... No. But an excellent choice when you have to be discreet.

I like this one for abovementioned reasons: smells good: citrusy, a little sweet, a little sour, a little sour and last long. Lomani, is underestimated brand, that "cook their perfumes with soul". I had Cruiser: same story very good and underestimated.

Back in the 90's my father's favorite perfume was Cacharel pour L'homme, I used it from him until he got me El Paso, I loved it, used it in school and by time he liked it and started using it too. Lovely old school perfume..

In my opinion , El Paso's actually one of the best combination of Woody,Spicy and citrus. And it will remind you a heavy,pungent freshness which can be matched with a Railway Enginner,demonstrating his plans.

So much Nostalgic to this one. Clove and sandalwood the whole way and blends perfectly with body odor. Most important thing is , this darn cheap juice is extraordinarily unique.

Does anyone else think this smells like Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana? I smelled this on a guy and thought it was that, for women. I might get this for myself!

i have used the deodrant in the early 90s.. how come it is released in 2002??
