Electro Limonade

Oh Natalie. Be still my heart, this is absolutely gorgeous. My first outing from this brand and I was a bit sceptical about them at first, didn't really know if they were legit or just some gimmicky crap but through trying a few and hearing opinions from trusted friends, I get that this is a really cool brand with something to say, beautiful, anti-cliched perfume with nice quality packaging and reasonable pricing, all the tick boxes really. I'm usually rushing past the 'freshie' to get to the leather and iris, or incense perfumes and as good and not just rehashing as they are Electro Limonade stood out to me as a potential early favourite from L'Orchestre. It reminds me of something from childhood it has that fizzy, sweets quality, but definitely the refreshment of a long drink on the veranda, ice cubes bobbing about, me in a thong yada yada... you get the imagery. The hue of this perfume is pink! Right away, I wanted to say pink grapefruit but it's not sharp or bitter enough for that, definitely pink though, and lemonade does feature but not necessarily everything. So it says rhubarb here and I'd have to sniff again but the interplay of a rhubarb material could be giving this citrus a twist more ferocious that the fruits squeezed into Electro Limonade or the one at the end of Usual Suspects. (bit of pop culture humour for you there. What? fuck off! I'm a dad, we do dad jokes) The base is a very well put together light woody feel, giving a teenie, tiny bit of oceanic vibes but nowhere near trying too hard to evoke the seaside, this is a cocktail to be consumed anywhere. So fresh, so lovely and fairly long lasting too, combining a modern citrus vibe that I'm not familiar with, so yeah big success with me and coming into summer might be just the thing I need. Great start L'Orchestre.

This smells great. But it also smells Exactly like a kitchen cleaning product i use (though of better quality and smoother). Cleaning products are scented differently depending on counties and culture. So don't think it's a cleaning product scent in general. But for where is live, it is.

What an amazing scent and silage. This is such a smooth citrus, like a more wearable version of Goldfield and Banks Bohemian lime. This is a banger and deserves a place in my top 10 summer fragrance of all time

Light, airy and watery. Good for hot weather or gym time. Rhubarb is main star here, supporting by citrus and smoke. Very refreshing. Love it. ❤️

I was so lucky to get my hands on something from this line. My mini bottle (0.5 oz) of Electro Limonade from MaxAroma was on sale, with a coupon. I love how it has a QR code of its song and lists the Mediterranean as an inspiration. I was iffy about the incense undertone (e.g. olibanum is nice but has a distinctive scent) out of the bottle, but the composition really is fresh and airy on my skin. It feels unisex to me because it has the freshness of a men's cologne, but settles nicely on my skin. I could swear there's ginger in here; I have to check my bottle. Electro Limonade appealed because I adore citrus and have strongly preferred vetiver over patchouli these days (especially for fresh fragrances). This reminds me a bit of Cote d'Azur by Oribe (lovely scent) but a tad more feminine, more citrus, and way less of vetiver/florals. I've been struggling with a persistent, low level migraine all day, but a small spritz of Electro Limonade hasn't irritated it at all. I don't detect anything unpleasant: no sharpness, scratchiness, or plasticky undertones. Electro Limonade is a really nice option for anyone looking to try a fresh, sweet, surprisingly rounded citrus without any loud jasmine or vanilla. (No shade to vanilla or jasmine; I just don't always want it in a scent) ETA: This is what my bottle says (first in French, then in English): "Electro Limonade Terrace over the Mediterranean Sea.
