Liquor BPM

The best tobacco I know to date, and I've tested 1k fragrances at this point. I snagged the bottle the day I received the sample immediately. Here's why. Niche can't into tobacco (this sentence construction will make much more sense to you if you're native in Polish, or Polandball memes). I mean it - whenever you get some it's one of the same thing - a sickening concoction of honey and hay-like tobacco, an ashtray, or a dry woody resinous and hay-ish tonka. Some don't even smell of tobacco once you have enough experience to distinguish some naturals and/or aroma chemicals, like Naxos (ooooh did I trigger some of you :D ?). I don't want to smell like Winnie the Pooh, I don't want to smell like Marlboro's fan scarf or, God forbid, breath, and I'm way too young to smell like a dated, retro, sometimes stale attic (maybe in 20 years) but! Once in a while you get a perfume that uses a real tobacco as a note and I'm pretty sure it's one of those (it's using blond tobacco). I owned Prin's Rhinoceros and it's a bit too nasty, too damp to my taste. I can appreciate it, for sure, but if it makes me react with 'ugh' I'm not wearing it. I tested the same year's Kilian Smoking Hot that isn't smoking. or hot. or lasting, for fuck's sake look at the price tag Estée Lauder! Liqueur BPM though. On the opening it gives you a bit of that soft pear you might know from Ultra Male, but that's gone quickly. The mid comes up fast and stays for long and here's the trick. The brand isn't giving you all the notes. There's a lot of tobacco without the smoke, without the hay or dry, dirty labdanum. It's backed by a natural vanilla in the base, sweetish ambery wood and sandalwood chips. I've heard the perfumer mention in some interview that he used (was it called chips?) note which smells of a classical, creamy sandalwood but gives you a 'toasted' wood vibe and it's oh, so present and somewhat delicious here. I can smell the patchouli here but that's not an important factor of the smell, it isn't earthy, dirty, musty, old, or chocolate-y. The leather, yeah, maybe, but like, a camel-colored suede. Soft. What I think is also here is anise seed. I can feel it, even if it's not an official note. It gives you a 'golden' vibe that reminds me a tiny touch of Kilian's Gold Knight. There's also licorice or something similar as I'm pretty sure I can photorealistically pinpoint an accord I smell here - a bag of mixed black Haribo gummies. You know, not only the black ones - the mix that includes them shuffled with fruits or marshmallows. You get that a lot under that tobacco/vanilla/sandalwood blend. The performance. I don't know. After the initial opening, let's say the first hour, it doesn't scream in projection. It has a sillage, but it doesn't push by itself - especially beyond an arm's length. It is lasting, will get you through a workday but for how long will others pick it up? Hard to say even though I tested it extensively. In my opinion you'll get moderate projection in second, to maybe sixth, seventh hour and beyond fifth/sixth you'll leave a tail when passing by someone. I wouldn't wear it beyond 20 Celsius, and I'd question my decision after 15. Is it masculine? Not really, but I think you'd need a bit of a character to work with it as a woman. The price is good, the quality is here. I'd improve on the presentation as it's the most expensive perfume from the brand. The cap is light and weighs nothing, even though it's made of wood (slides into place, doesn't click). The atomizer gives you a lot ot juice, but it's not pressurized giving you a very wide cloud that doesn't burst far enough from the bottle. Uncomfortable to me. The box, well, a box. That's it. I also think it's a pretty linear fragrance - it does change, but not a lot especially after the opening.

Liquor BPM L'Orchestre Parfum I like Liquor BPM as the middle ground of this profile. Middleman of bad thing, boozy and tobacco in the same time. It is complete package, and it is somewhat leans classic fragrance. This is strong as any tobacco fragrance use Superamber should be. But this never tuff on my nose or make me tried during the wear. Where I like the most is the middle part that soft green, banana resin like. I think - this might have iris just enough to cover Super-Amber. When the scent reach last stage at 3 hours post wear. It is powdery ambermax that strong but soft to my nose. Softly sweeten, fruity and fresh. and yes a beautiful clean patchouli. Kind of Mugler vibe, but more clean, neat and not extremely sweet. I think this is enough for repeat wear. I enjoy. I will keep her in collection. (Ps. I think, for more Tobacco leaning with soft honey side of thing, I still like - Oud Affairs. Same light amber-work, please to the nose)

I absolutely adore this perfume. To me it's perfectly centered, not too loud and not too demure. This makes the fragrance very versatile and quite wearable at the office or at meetings, but it would also be perfectly suitable for fine dining or an evening at the opera. It is quite distinct in its projection, smelling noticeably different from a few feet away than when you smell it close to the skin, which is in and of itself an art in perfumery. In the projection you get more of the boozy tobacco with hints of wood and amber, whereas closer to the skin it showcases more of that smoked fruit accord making it reminiscent of Killian's Smoking Hot. In my opinion the fragrance successfully conveys elegance and refinement without being too "in your face" about it. This my first bottle from L'Orchestre, but it certainly will not be my last.

Luxurious and inviting... Full of luscious pear and beautiful blonde tobacco leaf rolled and dipped in sweet absinthe. After the first spray, this one jumped right to the top of my list of favorite "boozy" scents. I know there are comparisons to Angel's Share (which I love), but the pear note(s) make it so much more unique. The fresh tobacco here is the purest I've encountered and makes me want to explore more fragrances in that vein... There's just something about this one - it's smooth, mysterious and lavish... Wonderfully imagined and crafted. 10/10

Yes, such a great take on boozy note! Although really prominent, it's classy and subtle - type of a boozy scent you can wear to work (at least I can). Mature, expensive and posh. Such delicate pear, not a mushy, overripe one, in perfect balance with liquor accord. Tobacco, not cheap, smelly, ashtray smell, but sweet, delicate (l suppose like smelling a real, sundried leaf of tobacco would smell)... Really, really good composition. Knocked me off my feet at first whiff.

A perfume, which is rich, luxory and elegant. Evokes the smell of clasic theatre where the smoke of cigars is spread by ladies fan. Noble wooden instruments play solemn music and during the pause the liquers are enjoyed. But there is also juicy aroma of pear: almost buttery, nicely sweet with vanila. Treuly tasteful and intoxicating. One of the best compositions by L'Orchestre. Divine. --- Nice projection and longevity (7-8hrs). I'd wear it during autumn-winter season.

So the top "reminds me of" fragrance is showing as Angels Share currently. This is not Angels share at all. This reminds me very much of Eye of Seven Hills from Alghabra and/or Luminous Night from D&G. I actually like this better because you do get a very boozy opening. Mixed with the pear the opening actually reminds me a little of Khamra with it's dates in the opening. From there it heads towards EOSH/Luminous Night. Just my noses 2 cents. It's pretty amazing.

Beware, this is a beast mode fragrance. I washed my top a week later (it was under a bunch of clothes) and after the long wash cycle it came out still smelling strongly. This has a gourmand feel.....its boozy and sweet initially but then the tobacco and suede dry it down to something dark and powdery. It's very classy and something you want to wear on a night out, to get you noticed! It's very sexy!

Smells luxury and rich. This opens up boozy, woody and sweet, it has that juicy pear which smells really nice. I see why people compare this to Angels share but this is quite different. This is more woody and slightly fruity. Personally for me I don’t get the leather note from it. Overall, super strong and long lasting, smells really gorgeous.

Perfect for tobacco enthusiasts, the captivating blend of pear and liquor is exceptional. The most enjoyable aspect—I hope it stays till the end. Challenge me; this marks the introduction of a pear-focused niche, a mature scent with masculine undertones. Nowhere else will you encounter something quite like it. Well done! 👏

Boozy, powerful and in a way absolutely delicious. It's like you're sipping on a strong cocktail with whiskey, pear and a hint of cacao while people are smoking cigars around you.

It's sweet without being sickening. The overall give a nice licorice smell. Smell more masculine but I would still wear it as a woman

No idea where to get this....but i need it!

I just got this after testing it in the store and I fell in love with the pear notes. It's nothing like Angels Share, which I also own. Liquor BMP is more frutty (you can definitely feel the pear) and it's missing the cinnamon note that is super powerful in Angels Share. I love the tobacco in this one - is very elegant, not very harsh and it blends well with the sweetness of the pear. I don't get any leather or cashmeran notes. But I love that as it dries down you can still smell the pear and the liquor. However... projection is super low. It sits close to the skin, you can definitely smell it after 6h, but it doesn't project at all. For this price point, i feel like they can do better. Also, the packaging looks kinda cheep. The cap is light and the atomizer is poorley placed into the bottle (it's a bit crooked). The paint on the bottle looks very bad, like a fake bottle of perfume you'd buy from a flea market. Overall, they need to invest more on the packaging. I would rate this as a 6/10.

This is masculine and sweet but not gourmand. I smell a lot of dark black licorice, indiscernible fruit touches, dry gin, and a hint of crispy orange fall leaves. Overall it gives off a dark musky/spicy/sweet experience. I also sense very big similarities to Smoking Hot by Kilian. I decided to smell them side by side while I type this review because I have a sample of both and maybe some people will enjoy a comparative analysis. The Kilian has a much more lively Apple Cider feel to it — and comes across more vibrant/brighter and cozier/sweeter with just a touch of vanilla. Whereas this one is a bit more musky, smoother, and slightly darker. Smoking Hot projects a little louder too. Also, Smoking Hot becomes a bit ambroxany in the very late drydown but this doesn’t. I would still choose the Kilian myself but I think it depends on your personality and taste. 7.7/10

Sweet woody-tobacco fragrance, masterfully blended with nuances of pear. Even though it does goes along the line of fragrances mentioned above, it stands out by itself. I can imagine this fragrance being used in every season of the year (not under high heat) as it is light and not overwhelming to my nose but still gorgeous. Try before you buy!

This is freaking sexy, all the notes are blended masterfully, my only complaint is the duration of the perfume is rather disappointing, other than this complaint you should be very happy and secure and happy with a blind buy, is that this fragrance should have more hype, no BS

In no particular order wood, leather, tobacco, something sweet, vanilla, booze. Sometimes smoke. Sometimes mint. It reminds me of nothing else I have tried. They did something different and I respect that. Give it a shot.

This perfume is sexy, different, intoxicating, and I say more original creation from other tobacco perfumes with way more reviews and recognition than this one, no bs...

Definitely masculine, I wouldn't wear this. Regardless, I feel like I've smelled this boozy, sweet tobacco scent profile many times before.

less odd and horrifying than most of this house's output - i've mentioned it in reviews before, but l'orchestre parfum has a really odd DNA that runs through their fragrances in varying strengths - to me, it's a very dusty, angry, harsh ambroxan-esque smell. liqueur bpm fares better than some of their other scents as it does, in a weird way, match the rest of the notes/perfume. however, i'm not a huge fan of this. it's too boozy for me - to the point of being quite sickly and very heady, kind of dizzying. i don't want to smell like i've just rolled out of a wooden whiskey cask, which is what this gives off. 4/10 i do not like it, but might be suitable for those who actually enjoy (very) boozy fragrances.

My husband’s words: “This must be the reason why fragrance use is restricted in Finland.” And this is from a man who loves Hyde, Iron Duke and Black Beard. I tried to wash it off - didn’t work. Tried body scrub - didn’t work. Finally sprayed it over with Byzantine Amber. Husband took four aspirinens.

Liked it at the first spray and starting to love it more and more. I get more suede instead of full leather. Opening has a licorice smell and there is a little bit of smoke. After a while it get's a bit more amber and on me i don't get too much on the patchouli. It has a bit of other perfumes i smelled and at the same time it smells unique. Would be great for fall.

This immediately reminded of masculine fragrances from the 90's. Its like a sweeter take on Halston. I don't know why i was expecting a Side Effect type of fragrance but i was very wrong. Its ok, i don't see myself owing a bottle of this or even finishing my deacant. Its good for an older gentleman or someone who appreciates not so sweet tobacco fragrances.

Underrated gem that u def have to try.so much character and richness in this scent
