Pacific Chill

Out of the original LV cologne lineup, Pacific Chill was the biggest surprise. At least to me it was. I was expecting to not care for it at most, but it ended up being one of the most original and striking scents in the lineup. And, no less, I think it is the most fun and better embodies what was intended with the line. LV wanted to capture the “L.A.-West Coast chill” vibe with the lineup, or at least that’s certainly the impression they gave, but Pacific Chill goes more “Asian-Pacific chill” than American West coast. The opening is playful and tantalizing. Whatever LV wants to state, my nose picks up without question and without fail every time: mango. The mango starts off underripe and bitter green, a bit salty and ozonic, before quickly going full-on fruit salad juicy. This mango is adorned with naturalistic mint and Thai basil - which is actually a fantastic real life combination you should try. Blackcurrant; yep, there is a waxy fruit facet to mango. Ambrette; yep, there’s definitely an unctuous and musky fatty facet to mango. Orange; yep, mango certainly smells orange-y in a lot of ways. Carrot seed; bingo - that sweet “orange/turmeric” rooty smell of delicious carrots is written all over mango. However, at no point is Pacific Chill cloyingly sweet or lumpen. Cavallier does a fantastic job of keeping this accord in suspension, and it doesn’t really approach synthetic smelling either since the materials used are actually of pretty good quality and Cavallier clearly shows that he understands how to dial them in just so. When the fruit notes-cum-mango finally wear down, we get a precious, fruity, soapy, pink rose and white musks. Clever trick, Jacques, clever indeed. What a pleasant surprise and a neat little twist. This mango to rose transition might strike some as being a bit feminine for a cologne line, but men can and should wear this without second thought. When I wear this I’m in the Maldives in a private island villa, a luxury resort in Hoi An or Bali. An attentive server in white linen just served me a fine cocktail and grilled shrimp adorned with local fruit. The hammock looks inviting for a quick nap in the ocean breeze. Maybe I’ll get a massage later. That’s not very “West Coast chill” to me, but definitely more my speed, and Pacific Chill nails it.

I have a love-hate relationship with this one. I ordered a tester a few months before I got the full bottle, and immediately fell in love with it. It starts off with a fleeting scent of citrus, with the most realistic interpretation I've ever smelled. Its like a bowl of freshly cut and peeled citrus fruits, are sitting right Infront of my nose. It's fresh, sharp, and truly unique and amazing. Although, the top notes unfortunately fade quickly, within 10-15 minutes. These give way to a greener, sweeter, and softer dose of fruit. Specifically apricot, although I probably couldn't tell it. It lasts a few hours then it fades to it's sweet, fruity, and powdery base notes. Overall, fragnatica's depiction of its notes are very accurate, but somehow the way its put together makes it so much more appealing then described. Its truly something special. Its a very informal and casual fragrance, I wouldn't wear it to anything serious. You definitely need to be very young as a man to pull it off, as its definitely a unisex fragrance. If you're an enjoyer of more masculine fragrances then stay away from this one. I can definitely see how someone would hate it. Its not a mass appealer. And here is where it hurts - Its performance and price. The most time you'll ever have it project is an hour and a half, tops. Then its pretty much a skin scent for the rest of the day. For the hefty price tag of $350 for its at best mediocre performance is beyond disappointing. You simply cannot wear it in the winter or fall if you expect to smell it after 30 minutes, no matter how much you overspray it. If it weren't for this (and the more unisex profile) it'd easily be up there with imagination, It'd be a masterpiece. Maybe it'd be better if i lived somewhere with warmer weather, oh well... However, every scorching hot summer day I will look forward to using it. Despite the stab I get from its underwhelming performance I still love this fragrance with everything in me. Its the most unique fragrance I've ever had the pleasure of smelling, and If I had the chance I'd buy it again without a second of hesitation. 9/10, Damn you Louis Vuitton for being so good.

It's a very pleasant and attractive scent for all occasions and all genders in the summer. While the longevity of this scent wasn't as strong on my skin as it appeared in other reviews, 8–10 hours on my cooked skin chemistry is more than enough tho. Also, this has solid sillage. People can smell your scent from a certain distance and compliment you. Scent-wise, what's important to me about this fragrance is that it's not citrus-forward. Citron, orange, and lemon notes are only used initially for a refreshing start. This is great because in Türkiye, where I live, lemon-scented colognes are very popular and generally remind everyone of elderly people, they offer it as a gesture during religious holidays. Because of this, I used to have a hard time finding a summer fragrance. Since I'm not a big fan of aromatic barbershop scents either, the only option left for summer was fruity fragrances. But the problem with fruity scents is that many of them smell synthetic—like shower gel or cough syrup—and frequently cause headaches due to overwhelming sillage. However, this perfume brilliantly overcomes all these problems by making the most of these accords. The mint and basil in the fragrance have a refreshing effect and make the scent smell like a mojito. Coriander and carrot seeds add an aromatic vibe that doesn't overpower the other notes. The apricot note in this scent is one of the most realistic fruit notes I've ever smelled in my life. Along with mint, it is the most prominent and noticeable note in the perfume. It is also special to me because apricots are one of the most widely grown fruits in Türkiye, and as a child, I loved picking and eating fresh apricots from the trees on our little farm. The base notes, while not very noticeable, add a subtle sweetness to the frag that isn't overwhelming to the nose. The only thing I don't like about the perfume is, unfortunately, the intense hype surrounding it, but I can completely understand why this scent is so loved and popular. I wish I were the only person who uses this frag

I struggle to think of any LV fragrances I actually dislike. Forget indifference, I'm talking genuine dislike. Take Nuit De Feu as an example - I wouldn't buy it, but whenever I am in an LV store, I cannot help but find myself admiring the artistry. Then you have Afternoon Swim, Fleur du Désert, City of Stars (perhaps an underrated gem within the LV catalogue), and the titanic Imagination - these fragrances have all brought me to the question of "should I?" Well, that brings us to Pacific Chill. I proclaim that I DID! Now, I'm not one to typically follow the hype, but I can certainly understand why this one continues to receive so much attention. It's been about 2 months since I purchased my bottle, but I won't bother getting into the nuances... instead, read this. Today was a 40°C day (104°F). It was DISGUSTING. But when I sprayed this, it HEALED me. I felt rejuvenated. In fact, I almost felt grateful for the inequitable heat, where this fragrance could truly shine. I think it's worth every penny.

Pacific Chill is the most extraordinary fragrance I discovered this year, and for me it looks like one of the most underrated right now. The first thing that sets it apart is the longevity and sillage—there are many fragrances with much better results, but none of them is of the fresh/citrusy type; in this segment, I believe Pacific Chill is the leader of the moment. The other factor that is not often described properly in the reviews is the complexity and smoothness; for instance, a less experienced nose could first say it has some melon or even cucumber, but in fact those are not present and are a sign of the reviewer not being able to separate more complex combinations. And probably the last factor at the moment is the lack of any remotely decent clone. If you spend 100-200 getting 3-4 of the 50-100 ml replicas and you end up not really being impressed with any of those, you should better buy the 200 ml version of the original and have the love fragrance of your current smell life.

So, it's LV, and what about LV hasn't already been said? Yes, it smells incredible and unique; instead of providing a note breakdown, perhaps this brief story will be more helpful. I had encountered a friend wearing LV Imagination, and I immediately became hooked. I found myself at an LV store, where I confidently made my purchases and walked out with four 100 ml bottles. When I got home and smelled the Pacific Chill, my heart was skipping beats, lol. I wasn't sure if I liked how it smelled on me. I collected my thoughts, cooled off the smoking gears (lol), and put it down for another day. Of course, I think about why I passed on the Meteore and remind myself I didn't need to rush and buy so many.... My point is that I came back to Pacific Chill in a week's time. Clear mind, relaxed, and I was shocked how much I fell in love with it. To this day, it's one of my go-tos, without question. Don't overthink simple things. AND try out the fragrance on your skin first.

One of the most beautiful fragrances I’ve ever purchased. I originally went to Louis Vuitton to buy Imagination, but I ended up deciding between Pacific Chill and Afternoon Swim. On my skin, Imagination honestly smelled like old school soap, but the moment I sprayed Pacific Chill, it instantly brought a smile to both my face and my girlfriend’s. If heaven had a smell, this would be it. Sadly, the performance doesn’t quite justify the price, but I don’t even care. I practically take showers with this stuff. And honestly, it’s still half the price of Creed Aventus. I truly think it’s worth every penny, and I don’t even consider it overpriced considering the quality of the ingredients. Basic “luxury” brands like Versace are charging $200 these days. $360 for 100ml and $510 for 200ml really isn’t bad at all. Longevity: 5/10 Sillage: 7/10 Quality of ingredients: 8/10 Complexity: 8/10 Smell: 11/10

Masterpiece! After continous wearings and rigorous analysis I can call this a Masterpiece, My initial thoughts was a fruitier take on L'Eau D' Issye but it is much more than that. The way citrus has been inter woven with fruits is impeccable and it lingers for so long , much longer than any usual citrus can last . The watery green DETOX like freshness is so nice! And it dives into a muguet/musk/lightly sweet heart melting core None of the clones reach to its status , I would guess the level of intricate blending and molecular captives in this place it at a different league , it will take few years till a clone can really replicate it's elongated effervescence feel. Creations that brings the emotions of bliss that you had the chance to came across and try! It does perform well , specially for a heavy loaded citrus scent. Cheers

THE QUINTESSENTIAL summer fragrance. An absolute bombshell of tropical and juicy notes that exudes freshness all throughout. A lot of people talk about this smelling like (insert cleaner here), but I just feel like that's the nature of citrus or fruit-based smells. It genuinely smells like drinking a sweet fruit juice or drink near a beach with the waves crashing and a zing of a citrus periodically hitting your taste buds. It lasts and projects super well too, which to me as achievement with notes like these (can't say the same for Afternoon Swim sadly). It's super pleasant and my personal all-time favorite of the LVs. Even the bottle itself is beautiful. BUTTTTTT 350$ is absolutely insane and with no gray market selling an LV in sight. Yeah i'd say sample and really decide if this is realistically worth it for you.

This is my favorite LV by far. I visited a boutique without really an intention to buy anything. I just wanted to smell a bunch and see what everyone keeps talking about. Soon as the rep sprayed this my eyes lit up and couldn’t really believe how awesome it was. I sprayed it all over me and kept smelling my wrists all day. I ended up asking for a sample and wore it for my wife. She was so impressed with how fresh and unique it was. Definitely a banger. I just bought a bottle online and even got it engraved. First LV in my collection. I just love how refreshing, cool, and clean it is. It just reminds me of an awesome summer day. I still find myself smelling my wrists all day wearing this. I can’t wait for the spring and summer for this. I def been sleeping on LV frags. Going to explore more and see what’s up for me!

I like this dna, I had rayhaan pacific aura which is slightly greener but super close, ever since I bought the OG I have worn it many times, gotten quite a few compliments and it makes me feel like a boss in the summer, currently chugging through my bottle. Smells apricoty, minty with more fruits and freshness reminds me of staying at luxury spa with ice cold juice next to me. Let’s be honest I paid 300eur for 100ml, it’s only worth if you really like the dna and you have the means to buy it, otherwise get a dupe. The LV has amazing ingredients smells so authentic with 0 synthetics and not clone I have smelled so far gets more than 80% similarity. Pacific aura by rayhaan is the best imo, just greener and fresher. Only downside is the performance I get 4 hrs from the LV and 3 from rayhaan, so carry a decant

So I got the LV decants of On The Beach, Imagination, Pacific Chill, Afternoon Swim, and Meteore. My favourite fragrance from the bunch so far. In the past two months I got introduced to two amazing Mango Fragrances; this and Vulcan Feu. While Vulcan Feu mells like a mango soda-- It's a bit powdery and mostly linear. This smells like a ripe, sweet mango mixed with tropical fruit juice and small hints of mint. It is absolutely amazing, and on my body it lasts a decent amount (4-5 hrs) for a summer fragrance. I haven't smelled anything like this before. Highly addictive and invigorating. 8.5/10 PS: I know that the notes don't list mango but I'll go with my gut and choose not to retroactively change what I smell. Its a lovely fragrance regardless.

The opening starts off a little harsh on the mint and at first I didn't like it but it's really grown on me as I've had a sample of it. I think that eventually I'll buy a full bottle when I get through a few others that I want to buy first. Perfect review from Dihhhowais! This fragrance makes me feel happy whenever I wear it and for me, has the absolute WOW factor. Its dry down is gorgeous. Pacific Chill is unique, contemporary, cosmopolitan and expensive smelling. So grateful to my friend at the gym from Morocco who wore this one hot summers night at the gym - perfect for wearing at the gym, with friends, during a hot beach day, wearing wide leg trousers and loose shirts or even for business. Yes, I've found my spring summer signature fragrance. Effortless, classy, chic, a free spirit and totally unique. Worth every euro!

This scent goes back and forth with me. At first I loved it, then hated it, and now after smelling it again, I think I love it again. A nice scent that is inoffensive that almost everyone loves. Smells like ordering a high end mojito at a outdoors bar, the sun is setting, but the air is still hot. And I love it. Great fresh masterpeice. 9.2/10 Edit - 11/15/25 And I hate it again. I do not know what it is about this, opening now smells like Nautica voyage. Once it dries down, it smells like it is missing something, I don't know what. I wish I could love this.

this one is reallyyy good and unique so far I haven’t smelled anything like it. Fresh and extremely fruity, almost a candied peach type smell. I didn’t get much mint but there’s a peppery vibe that helps calm down the fruit cocktail. Realistic peach/apricot smell but it’s sweet without being thick and creamy. Although it does dry down and thicken up and smells almost “caramely” from the dates. Beautiful scent for some warmer weather but I wouldn’t wear it just anywhere. It’s kinda young and playful more for casual occasions.

This was my first expensive fragrance and it started my fragrance journey, therefor my review of it might be bias. That being said I absolutely love this scent; to me it feels fresh, citrusy, slightly sweet and a little greenish. But I can see how some might find it too fruity, sweet, cucumberry and perhaps feminine (I'd say it is very much unisex). On my skin it last about 6-8 hours with decent projection. Overall I'd say if you like citrusy fruity fragrances give Pacific Chill a try you might like it!

I absolutely adore Pacific Chill. If it wasn't crazy expensive, this would be the perfect casual daily scent, living in Hawai'i. It's fresh, watery but not watered down. It smells like cold watermelon. But also, if you take the flavor of avocado with sweetened condensed milk and crushed ice, this is basically that as a fragrance. Overpriced, but crazy good. Only other downside is, you'll find way too many things that smell just like this. Soap with aloe, a room spray... yeah. Still, very good fragrance.

It smells to me almost exactly like a bowl of sweetened lime/orange peels that have been crushed with half a mint leaf and the tiniest date. Alternatively it smells like a cold jug of citrus, mint, and cucumber infused water. Amazing for summer Pros: - Perfect for hot weather - Juicy, unique fruity scent done to perfection - Decent performance on my skin for a freshie Cons: - I've been told its overpowering/cloying - end of dry down smells like the way shampoo tastes 9/10

I bought this juice, I thought; Fuck it, I’m just gonna spend too much money now. It’s kinda like this weird scent, it’s very playful and just fun and don’t give a fuck. It’s summer and I wanna smell like a melon smoothie (I get melon instead of peach) It’s a very non-serious smell. Just run outside in the sun and smell like having fun kinda vibe. So perfect if you don’t want to be serious on this day and just want to have some fun and chill. Pacific Chill in this case.

Have not smelled original! (will update review when I have.) This is a review assuming that Luicianno Coastal Breeze (doesnt have a page) is at least 85% accurate. Its a very easy wearing fragrance, its simple yet advanced at the same time. Wear it if you want to feel clean and fresh, it smells like a cool breathe of air. The mint is prominent and it has a soapy kind of texture. Its a bit over-hyped imo but I enjoy it, nothing too special. Wearable anytime, anywhere.

This is a day time, spring/summer no hesitation. Slight musk to this bad boy that can smell funky if ya be sweating a lot. Before smelling this I hadn't smelled anything like it. With LV comes the caveat of the super high price point, I haven't smelled a dupe that is 1:1 good enough to replace completely. I'm not a super accurate nose and notes guy, but you can really smell the apricot which is what I think makes this whole scent/DNA unique. (I'm also an LV glazer)

Lovely realistic apricot note, especially in the opening. Smells like a nice cocktail. The apricot and citrus notes stay after the drydown and are accompanied by mint and fig. This fragrance is pretty sweet and might not be for everyone. The sillage isn't super great after the first 3-4 hours, which is a shame. It's still great closer to the skin and on clothes after that. Perfect summer scent. Shame it's pretty expensive. Definitely give this one a try.

Beautiful tropical scent. Smells very similar to a mojito. Refreshing mint is complimented by a well done citrus scent with apricot to add onto the wonderful mint and fruity scent. Definitely useful for summer and spring, but should be used for 85 degrees Fahrenheit outside temperatures. Lasts for about 6-8 hours on skin, but the faint skin scent lasts awhile. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it for the summer seasons and for tropical vacations.

My favorite LV fragrance there is. Went to the Louis store and sampled everything, preferred the scent of afternoon swim over this, but then as I sprayed both on my wrist Pacific Chill took over. This scent is absolutely incredible and is absolutely summer. Can’t get enough of this, and cannot wait for the summer to regularly use it. In my top 3 favorite summer fragrances of all time along torino21 and my all time favorite Virgin Island Water

This smells amazing! I got it a week ago, and because unfortunately it is the winter, I can't wear this outside. I can't stop smelling it. It opens with a very sweet and fresh apricot and mint. It reminds you of a summer day on the beach drinking a mojito. While I totally agree that it is overpriced, if you are a younger (you should be younger to pull this one off) I highly recommend getting this one over any of LV's other fragrance options.

I am a huge fan of Pacific Chill. I know it at times may lean a little feminine with the upfront fruit notes, but it really ticks the boxes. The mint on the opening is bright and refreshing and truly sets the mood. I get more compliments on this fragrance than I do with Imagination or Afternoon Swim (of which I love both). I find the longevity is 8 plus hours for me with only 4 sprays. I find myself reaching for this more often lately.

My favorite scent, and no dupe comes close. This has a lovely, fresh and expensive smell to it. It starts off minty, and then eventually turns into a sweet, date, skin scent. The mint from this smells like genuine and fresh mint, whereas all the dupes I tried eventually dry down into a fake menthol type mint. Admittedly, I can say it's not for everyone, and therefore not blind buy safe. But if you like it, you realllyyy like it.

Gentle sweet berried opening with a soft-core peppermint. Clean gentle aquatic musky dry down. A bit too gentle in the high heat or maybe my sampler has a big prostate. Extremely enjoyable scent. Rare reef only shares the fruit berry accord otherwise it’s a different scent. Belongs in the top designer catalog. But they are busy with their vomit inducing oud oriental bait. Hence, pay the LV price or rub an influencer s back.

I love love love love love this scent so much. This is the first fragrance I've found addictive to wear. The only problem is longevity. It could just be my nose, but I don't smell a thing, even on my clothes, after 4 hours. Others say it's faint around that time too. Be warned: if you wear it enough, you'll be noseblind to the fruitiness and think it smells a bit like cleaner. I stopped for like 3 days and it came back.

I would wear this over Imagination 9 times out of 10. It's fresh and clean, but fruity and a bit minty on top, gives it more character. The dry down is it's only flaw for me, it starts to smell a tiny bit weird at the halfway point and so on, but I really don't mind it, it still smells good, reminiscent of 20 minutes after you spray it. The one thing I love the most about it, is the Mint. It's done exceptionally well.

Highly over hyped I do love it tho. But I also have some good clones of this Like Bujairami Non Stop Extrait De Parfum which is a damn good clone of the LV only cost £49. It does the same job for a 10th of the price. Would I get it again Maybe,but there is better out there. Non stop is also Extrait which will out perform the LV all day long. I would say get non stop and save your hard earned cash.

minty and extremely refreshing, amazing for the summer given it also performs really well, it doesn't really smell too good on my skin which is a real shame, but just smelling it on a tester-strip is enough to tell that its a super hig-quality fragrance that you can wear with beach shorts or with a suit and tie, it's fresh and minty but not like young or playful, it's tastefully summer.

Pacific Chill is the most summerish tropical scent ever. Nothing can top this in terms of the vibes it gives. The perfect scent for a relaxing beach day, just like the name resembles. For me, it may be a bit too sweet and lacks a tiny bit of spiciness. I am not able to smell the mint in it. Lasts on my skin for around 12 hours and radiates moderately.

A rather playful warmer weather frag. It's sweet and fresh. Kind of has a slight plastic-note that's hard to put my finger on. Definitely a nice LV in my personal opinion. It definitely lasts for more than four hours and plays fairly well if you’re warmed up. I enjoyed my time with this LV and wouldn’t be opposed to a mini bottle if this ever happens

This absolutely smells like driving through orange fields one a summer day. The orange scent is huge for me. I understand that it is a little polarizing, the orange fruity smell, but it's also kind of endearing and moreish? It definitley smells fresh and exciting. I wouldn't wear it daily, but people always compliment it and ask me what it is.

It does not smell like cheap fruity shampoo! The smell us uplifting, cozy, fresh, spa like and it smells like summer on the beach. I love it, it's my comfort scent and although it doesn't project, you can feel it on your skin for hours. It smells expensive, leans a bit feminine and it's the best freshie I've ever smelled. Absolutely adore it!

This is such a beautiful perfume! It’s very intriguing because with all of the notes in this, you can’t quite put your finger on what you’re smelling besides the citrus, and that keeps you coming back for me. For me, it smells like a citrus peel- creamy and soft high quality lip stick. I know that’s weird but that’s what I get. Haha

Just when I thought Imagination would be my signature summer scent, here, comes along Pacific Chill. The fragrance definitely gives me that fresh feeling followed with a sweet and mild citrusy background, that is suitable for the office or day drinking! Pacific Chill has definitely dethroned Imagination as my signature scent!

One of my lifetime fragrances it’s amazing for hot days in the summer everytime I pass by the collection it’s one of the ones I’m usually stopping for a whiff of.. longevity is good about 6 hours which is nice for a freshie, they have dupes of this one too but nothing does the soft airiness quite like LV does ! Rating 9.7/10

On the first day this was like a peach shampoo, pretty nice. Second day it started to change, and now it's one of the most pleasant, light, fresh scents I've ever used. Longevity is great if you don't spray it on a dry skin (you can smell it on clothes after 16-18 hours still). 11/10. Absolute banger and worth the price tag.

it's a unique creation - and yes, it is really, really good. minty, fruity, summer type vibes. performance is pretty decent (significantly better than afternoon swim). are there better freshies at the price point? probably. is this one still outstanding? yes. recommend to sample before buying, simply due to the price point

You need to try this. If you like refreshing, cooling, fruity sweet fragrances, this is a must try. Green minty juicy fresh citruses with a fuzzy, slightly unripe fruity peach nuance. This is the most refreshing fragrance I’ve ever got my nose on and it smells incredibly high quality. 10/10 masterpiece

Very fruity photorealistic apricot with hints of a couple of the other notes blended in. Great summer scent. Some people are saying it's sweet but it's not the cloying style of sweet like other scents have, it's just juicy. I hate sweet scents in the summer and this doesn't feel sweet at all, to me.

love this, this actually maintains the citrus sweet fruity smell unlike the dupes or clones which turn green and potpourri smelling in the dry down, you get what you pay for is true for a reason, I will not compromise quality to save money on an inferior version of such a beautiful scent like this

I didn’t care for Pacific Chill at first, but everything changed once I wore it properly on my Thailand trip. The heat transformed it. People around me kept commenting on how insanely good it smelled on me throughout the trip. It’s one of those fragrances that truly comes alive in hot weather.

The best summer fragrance of all time. Juicy mint with apricot and some citruses. The mint smells like a realistic cocktail and the apricot ads a beautiful juicy fruitiness. Perfect scent to wear on a vacation or on a very hot summer day. And yeah this is the best LV scent ever made Easy 10/10

One of the most amazing things I have ever smelled BUT this completely disappears on my skin. I am talking two or three hours of total longevity. Need to test this more and try to get some better performance out of it, but this is seriously one that you smell and cannot stop thinking about.
