The ethereal beauty of "Ilka" by Piver, pure perfume. First released in 1912, my bottle seems to be from the 1950ies. Thanks to the recommendation of @perfume_history_ , I am now swooning in love with this rare vintage gem and I could not thank her more for this discovery. The bottle already speaks for itself, not to mention how much the fragrance composition swept me off my feet. There is romance, ecstasy and drama bottled up in this liquid love potion, that made my heart skip a beat first time I smelled it. I wish I could name something this this would remind me of, but I have never smelled anything done this way before. It already starts with an almost bizarre headnote I can not put a name on either, right after that florals will bloom on your skin while there is a feral growl coming from the base, that in my opinion was made using at least 2 animal notes and moss. If there was notes I could give you I would, but just like this beauty, they got lost over time and I can not give you reliable information about the raw materials that might have been used here. I can only say I am obsessed with this. Amazing vintage fragrance!
