Aziza Fig Yourself X Daniel René

As others have mentioned, this is a fairly green fig, but only upon the first spray. When first sprayed I get a more green fig, the bergamot, and a little bit of the mandarin in the background. It's very fresh and bright. I personally LOVE the opening and wish that stayed. But that's not to say I don't love the dry down because I do! As it dries down you lose the citrus but gain the tea and the creaminess which i'm assuming is those base notes. The milk doesn't lean lactonic but more like creamy. It makes me think of a hot vanilla latte or a sweet hot tea. I'm surprised to read that people think this is overly green as I think while yes it opens a bit green, it dries down pretty sweet imo. When I think green woody fig, I think Matiere Premiere Parisian Musc. I would say this fragrance lives in that scent family but is more soft, smooth, creamy, and not as sharp. This is truly unisex. As a girl that loves her feminine gourmands, I truly enjoy this! I will be wearing this often.

This perfume smells sophisticated and expensive. It starts out as a green fig and then as it dries down you get a slightly sweeter woody creamy fig with some tea. It’s sort of like Liam Grey or Gris Charnel without the cardamom and laudanum. It’s an incredibly smooth scent that can be layered or worn on it’s own, and unlike a lot of my other ME fragrances I did not have to let this one mature before it became wearable. I would say that this is perfectly unisex. It can be made more feminine by layering with a sweeter or fruity scent or more masculine by layering with a more citrus heavy or spicy scent. I love this. Not blind buy safe. You have to like fig and tea to like this one. This also sits close to my skin but lasts forever, which I don’t mind, but if you love a huge scent bubble this may not be for you.

So I was very late to getting this one. I heard so many good reviews on it, but my taste on perfume leans more niche and masculine leaning. Based off of the notes I was a bit skeptical, only because my nose has been guiding me in a different direction, but I got it. I am very happy that I did. I really like it. It is a very mass appealing frag. I only wore it once to do a wear test, and got several compliments. My husband sprayed his arm the day I got it and he said he woke up the next morning and still smelled it. He likes it as well. It's definitely one of those frags that I would always like to keep in my collection.

This is an amazing fragrance. I get mostly tea notes similar to immagination with the fig and and creamy undertones in the background but they still make an appearance. It's pretty linear for me and it is very mass appealing. I have skin that loves to chew through fragrance's longevity, but this lasts 8+ hours on me and for this scent profile it is crazy. If you are wanting a fig tea frag pick this up. I got it off TJMaxx for a discounted price as if it were a discounter since it was out of stock everywhere else. This is such a versatile fragrance and I completely recommend it.

Fig Yourself honestly surprised me. At first it was giving a hint of citrus, creamy fig, and that earthy vibe underneath. But after a couple days? It changed on me in the best way. The orange blossom finally peeked through and now I completely get what Daniel was talking about. The fig in this is perfect — not too green, not too sweet, just smooth and addictive. And with the orange blossom mixing in, it turned into the most gorgeous creamy floral fig. Totally unisex, totally wearable.

I absolutely love Fig yourself. Its earthy, slightly sweet and then the milky accord comes through tying it all together. This scent reminds me of Twilight in the best way possible. Its dark mysterious and fresh scent like the forest, with the sweetness dancing across the top layer of this fragrance. A unique n sensual scent. Def a green fig scent and the orange blossom is a very nice floral touch. Once it settles on the skin, I can really get the citrus in the fragrance.

Okay first off! Amazing job Daniel he is amazing so This is a beautiful milky earthy fig fragrance it’s really gorgeous and sensual it’s really unique too if I had to compare it to another perfume think of castling by mind games, Santal blanc by van cleef and Fétiche Le Santal by Christian Louboutin. All these milky fig scents I love this a lot very different

I never thought I would like fig in a fragrance, but this one changed my mind! It is so good. The opening is great, but the dry down... OMG — truly amazing!

Kinda strong and definitely NOT for anyone who wants to NOT stand out in a crowd (good or bad). Exactly what I expected from Mr. Rene...BEAST MODE. Like my coffee...I do prefer my fig to be a tad bit sweeter and fortunately this one layers well with other sweeter scents. Don’t misunderstand...I don’t dislike it...in fact, my husband (who thinks most perfumes stink) likes this one 🤨...I’m just trying to “Fig” out how to get the most daily wear outta her without being called to HR...Yep, pun intended 😂😂😂 Either way...this one is staying in my collection 😉😘

Not a fan very mid. Smells earthy and just super boring in all honesty. It’s not sweet at all despite what fragrantica insinuates

Honest Review: Aziza Fig Yourself X Daniel René I wanted to give this a fair test, so I sprayed it as soon as I opened the package. I usually prefer to wear a scent for a full day before forming an opinion, but I wanted to at least share my first honest impressions. Right away, the opening hit me with something very green and outdoorsy. The brand keeps saying this is not supposed to be a green fig, but on my skin it absolutely reads that way. It immediately brought back memories of walking through the woods as a kid in Indiana, grabbing leaves and stems off bushes and crushing them in my hands. That raw, earthy, leafy smell is exactly what I got in the first minute. From there, the cedarwood and tea start coming in. It has a bit of spice, a bit of citrus, and more of that earthy wood. At one point I picked up what smelled like a very realistic orange, almost like I had peeled one. Fig wise, it smells like the leaves or the skin of a fig rather than the sweet fruit. Very natural and very green. The overall vibe leans a little vintage to me, almost like a fragrance someone might have worn decades ago. Not in a bad way, just in that classic familiar kind of sense. It even gave me a quick flash of something a long time schoolteacher would wear. Not sweet, not perfumey, not modern niche. It is more of a woodsy aromatic spicy profile. On the drydown, it shifts into a softer and cleaner lotion like smell with the milk, benzoin, and sandalwood. It reminded me of the scent left behind after washing your hands with a lightly scented soap or lotion. Not a cleaning product, but that soft fragrance that lingers after the fact. Performance is strong. The sillage carried from my office into my bedroom, so around fifty feet. So if you like noticeable projection, this has it. As for wearability, I do not personally see myself wearing this. It does not fit my taste, but someone who loves earthy greens, aromatic woods, or vintage style spicy scents may enjoy it a lot more. Anything can technically be unisex, but on my skin this definitely leans more masculine and earthy. The bottle is the standard Aziza style bottle. One side says Luniche and the other says Daniel René which I assume is a nod to him as the perfumer. The atomizer is fine and does what it should. Overall, this is a very green earthy woody aromatic with a strong natural fig leaf vibe. It is not for me personally, but it is clearly made with intention and it definitely has an audience somewhere.

Just got this bottle in the mail today! At first sniff, in the air it smells like an earl grey tea with milk to me! I’m guessing that’s the black tea and milk notes. Directly on my skin however, I get more green vibes - reminded me of Armani Prive’s Figuier Eden. It’s a beautiful fragrance; I’d say it’s more suitable for spring/summer. I recommend giving it a sniff if you can! Otherwise, I’d say it’s a safe blind buy if you like fig-forward fragrances. EDIT - I initially sprayed this on my hoodie in the morning .. and by the dry down in the evening, WOW!!!!! It smells EVEN better! So creamy and delicious....

This is pretty good. So for me it started off sweet and the pepper, tea and fig were predominant but after it dries down it smells like Gris charnel which surprised me lol. I wish the sweetness stayed but now I get more fig and black tea, which I don’t have a problem with, I just wanted it to be a tad sweeter. That won’t stop me from using it tho lol

This fig fragrance is probably the best I’ve ever smelled. Great job Luniche x Daniel Rene
