The Bee's Knees

having tried both the liquid and the solid, i find that this is sweeter than the liquid. it's a very agrestic scent that feels like spring to me. in no way is this something light, though - it's very smokey and the hay is very prominent, but this can't be described as something other than a honeyed scent. I personally think this is great bang for your buck. it gets very beautiful and sweet and gentle as it sits on you.

Weird & confusing notes list - the above to me describes the liquid version. The solid stick version smells dramatically different, and, conversely, is most closely aligned with the notes given on the page for the liquid. In my view the liquid, which I retested last week, is nothing like as good as the solid.

The solid is a lot less in-your-face than the liquid, and it lacks the powerful honey note in the liquid perfume. It's softly medicinal and not at all perfumy. It smells like you rubbed a Burt's Bee's-esque salve on your wrist. Pleasant, but I wouldn't buy a perfume of it.

Too herbal!!! I wanted it to smell more like Honey I Washed the Kids!!!!

very strange because it smells good, strong herbal and sweet at first. i like it., very distinct. but then you walk around during the day and it smells kind of like really sharp body odor. and then you tell your friend; i showered today, just so you know. and she admits she has been wondering about what that smell was, and you tell her its your perfume, and feel relieved that she knows that its not just that you smell like a man after a heavy workout, but then you feel like you can never wear it again because it obviously does smell like sweat. solid version BTW! i think it can be very sexy on the right person, but i am a coward ultimately
