Forbidden Bloom

Forbidden Bloom is another beautiful fragrance from Mabelle O'rama. Mabelle has such a way with creating intriguing and mysterious scents - and this one is so exception. To me, Forbidden Bloom is such a perfect "sunscreeny" summer fragrance (but I would honestly wear it all year round). What sets it apart from other summer fragrances, however, is that it has this mysterious feel to it. It's like you went on a trip to another country trying to find yourself, and ended up making eye contact with the handsome stranger across the bar. He walks out, you follow. You turn the corner, he's waiting for you outside...ready for a passionate makeout session. Then, you hop on his motorcycle, arms around his leather jacket, and head to the beach...for a night you won't forget. You get the picture.

One of the loveliest tropical fruity florals, the sparkly pear at the beginning is beautiful. This is extremely long lasting and ends with a mysterious seductive dark feeling musk. Really, this is a stunner! I'm happy to see this fragrance here so I can have the pleasure of reviewing it. The tropical fruity floral path is well trodden but I actually couldn't choose anything to compare with this one. It's so enveloping and rich!

dont know how i found this, but the name hit my eye, and the scent combination was like yes ill do it, jolo. I never bought a parfum without having a smell of it. im very happy with that, the smell is soo good, love it, it kinda makes me high. xD Thanks for that looking forward, to buy Lunar Dust in Fall or Winter.

Immediate ADD TO CART. Gorgeous. One of the best fruity florals I've smelled in years and that's saying a lot, given the amount I have in my collection. This is so well done. I purchased it immediately.

Beautiful fruity floral fragrance. No one fruit predominates to my nose. The gardenia and frangipani are the stars here and they are naturalistic but not overly indolic. This is going on my wish list.

A delicious, fruity, floral, bubblegummy concoction. The frangipani in this reminds me of the one in Velvet Desire by Dolce & Gabbana - just as delectable, too

not a fan of ambrox/adjacent notes, but this one is pretty wearable! the coffee note definitely surprised me, but it grounds the fragrance in a near-warm way. still too floral for my personal preferences, but the cedar, musk, and cashmeran make for such a lovely foundation

Forbidden Bloom is so special. I was blessed enough to be sent a private sample along with my order of Lunar Dust, this was before it was released. This is an absolutely gorgeous, tropical feeling scent. It’s airy and expansive yet packs a punch. The peach is glorious in here. With the beautiful musks and molecular components combined, you get the sensation of the peach fuzz upon biting into it, the peach is ever so juicy... like when the nectar runs down your chin. This is so good paired with a dose of sweet pear... it isn’t under-ripe or tart. The frangipani and gardenia are dense and conjure the image of just before golden hour in a tropical beach location. Gardenia is one of my favourite white florals. The medley of these two florals create a lactonic nuance. Notes of coffee add depth and a delicate decadence while the cashmeran gives a sheer woody finish. Oh my it’s so delicious but goes beyond being a summer fragrance. Because of the cashmeran, cedar and the ambroxan notes in the base, it makes for a year round signature scent type of perfume. It’s fruity but it’s not sharp, saccharine or too sweet. It’s musky, it’s woody, it’s golden. It’s floral but not heady and stuffy. Forbidden Bloom is so balanced nothing feels too much. I feel like I want to take a bite out of myself when I wear this. It makes me salivate. Mabelle did a splendid job with this formula. Forbidden Bloom is honestly, stunning.

This perfume sounds like it's going to be so sweet. And there is a burst of sweetness in the beginning. But it is so balanced by cedar and the amber notes that the overall impression is not sweet at all and I love that. It is so complex and dynamic to me. I love it.

I don't normally write reviews on here. This one is just very special. It is one of them tropical ones that truly stands out. A summer beach party at night. Warm voluptuous florals with the sensual darker fruits. Beautifully put together
