Dark Roses

This is amazing! Another blind buy... The dark roses lured me in. I love Trussardi The Dark Rose and thought this might be something distantly similar, but no... Once the dry down starts, it's like there is a big bunch of fresh, red roses on your table. You can smell it around you. There's the rose and it's petals and a bit of the stem and leaves... maybe some missed thorns. It's all there. When I first sprayed, it was a bit metallic and didn't give me dark roses. Wasn't sure if I liked it? However, after 10-15mins all I can smell is a bunch of roses! Can't detect much in the way of oud... I wonder how it will smell after maturing for a month or so?

If you want a perfume that is all jammy roses, and oud but all roses nonetheless, and you like very strong silage, and you don't care if people around you drop like flies, then this is for you. I love this scent, but for me is too much to handle.

Ok I received mine today. I have a few in the range and have been pleasantly surprised. I don't know because it's new, lord I dislike this. It's super green. That's all I can smell. And roses but the sharp UK 🌹, the stems. When you get roses and you cut the stems and leaves to put in a vase. No saffron or oud. Not the pink or scarlet roses you'd know. Now I have to let this cook and come back. I can't see this as feminine. Men could appreciate the green and lack of sweetness! It's got a very south Asian smell....but I can't recall it exactly. I may ask around and see if anyone else can pinpoint it. It's not bad. But it's not for me. Based on a previous review, I had expectations of sticky jammy roses. Even too heady and heavy, but nup.
