Ingredients 07-2012

Instant love for me. I got the extraits sampling set from Crivelli and, even though I enjoyed most scents apart from patchouli magnetik which was too overpowering and hibiscus mahajad which was too feminine for my taste, it was the clear standout! Completely unique fragrance, nothing like anything I’ve smelled before, definitely woody and spicy but also with a papery and steamy feel to it, at least on my skin, that is very addictive and sexy. Unisex leaning masculine I’d say. Very elegant, but also sensual and addictive and super long lasting. Moderate projection so people close to you will definitely notice the frangeance, but it’s not a loud or invasive scent by any means (much more subtle and quiet than patchouli magnetik or amber chromatique for example). Suitable for all seasons except extreme heat and any occasion, but mostly night time, in my opinion. Though it could also be an office scent if one goes easy on the sprays. Definitely a scent that deserves more praise and recognition in my opinion. Difficult to sample and get but then again this is also part of its appeal!

Jacque Cavallier did something amazing with Ambroxan— combined it with Grapefruit to create Tygar. Gael Montero took that amazing match and made an even more perfect one. Basically this, to me, is an ambroxan bomb with saffron. The combination is incredible, and strong. Saffron here at times can be spicy, can give off a leather vibe, can give off a rubber vibe. There’s also a sweetness that I’d guess as dried fruits or some kind of stone fruit like plum. It’s SO good. The ambroxan smells similar to the Tygar ambroxan, however these don’t smell alike. This is better, as I like imagination more as a citrus / freshie. This is strong, sexy, spicy, leathery, sweet, ambroxan— that does NOT give me headaches or cause me to sneeze like Tygar sometimes does. This... is the perfect use of ambroxan to my nose. Absolutely incredible: hard to sample in US; but worth the hunt.

This is perfection in a bottle. I wear Ingredients 07-2012 now for a year, certainly in the winter time it has become my signature. It just uplifts me, anytime any day. The best Prague souvenir: lingering whiffs spreading from the sleeve of my thickest wool sweater after a visit to the Ingredients store. The scent followed me all over town, through the beautiful streets, lovely cafés, up to our cosy roof top suite, making me exclaim now and again “Damn, it smells SO good!”. After returning home I kept sniffing that sweater, it kept giving - eventually I caved and ordered a full bottle. The scent is deep and uplifting. Woodsy, wild and sophisticated. Dry, a little spicy, warm and soft. It opens a bit herbal, but slowly it grows into an amazing warm embrace of safety and luxury. Both sillage and longevity are excellent and gives you a kind presence in any company.

There are no official notes on this so I try to explain what I'm getting from this: The main notes are saffron and frankincense for me, combined with musks, wood, neroli and a "molecule-vibe". The combination of those kinda gives it a synthetic, almost "virtual" smell - like ironing fresh clothes and a little bit of the ozonic wafts you get right before it starts to rain. It's definitely unique, strong and pleasant for most people. Just like other strong, synthetic saffron perfumes for some people this might smell much more extreme, to the point where they have to leave the room, while others cant't smell it at all, especially the wearer. Though I am not able to smell it on my skin after some time, other people frequently tell me that it's still going very strong ~8 hours after applying it.

This is a stunning little jewel with fantastic performance. The fact that this perfume has been made in cooperation with my favourite hometown perfume store Ingredients might make me biased, but I just can’t wrap my head around it, in the best way possible. It catches attention, raises questions, fills the room. It creates a certain atmosphere that is hard to describe. I especially love the first hour when it starts to radiate warmth with subtle, metallic tones and soft sweetness. I never felt this before with any other perfume. It’s not a blind buy, but I can honestly say that even if I wear a different perfume, I catch myself thinking how I miss the smell of Ingredients 07/2012 and I’m already looking forward for the next day so I can wear it again. There you have it.

Love love love this perfume. I live in Prague so I’m lucky to be able to purchase and sample this gem easily. The opening is fresh spicy then I am smelling a lot of sandalwood but I can see vividly a strong log of the dry wood. There is some sweetness to it too and it’s very long lasting and potent it’s definitely worth the price. What makes it even more special with the story behind this is that it can easily be a special gift to someone living elsewhere as a souvenir from Prague, or you can buy it for yourself when you’re visiting Prague as a token of your stay here.

For me it is a smell of black tea and tobacco leaves, birch brooms, hot wooden sauna and heated air. Heated soldering iron and rosin (I remember my father used to make something with it when I was little). There is something like rosewood or some kind of oud. Some aromatic herbs (thyme?) and dried fruits. After a few hours, it dries down to a red-hot metal and something sour, like rhubarb. There may be amber wood materials in the composition because it is a little rough. And it's incredibly lasting, it easily stays on my skin for a whole day.

This one is so unique! Totally unisex. Some might say it leans masculine, but I love wearing it! I consider it my signature scent, and it always makes me feel special. The performance is out of this world—lasts all day, even days long! It projects well, and on clothes, it stays until properly washed. As you all know, the ingredients are a secret, but how it feels is natural, aromatic, forestry, woody, earthy, maybe a little bit leathery... Clean! ✨

Strong, extraordinary perfume. Very woody and smoky. Spicy and leathern. Bold and original. Not exactly something that everybody could use on skin - it is very dominating (vetiver and santal, I assume) - but it is quite atractive scent when disperse it to the air. Pretty unforgettable. You want to smell it again - and discover... (Similar to Praque.) Associates me voyages. Excitement. And the busy sounds in the cobblestoned streets...

I don't understand the low rating on this one bc it's stunning and extremely long lasting! I'm decluttering to buy this one! Opens up with spices and quickly dries down to a freshly starched linen shirt that's still hot. I pick up on a hint of dried fruits far in the background as well. Its addicting and so chic. Clean, woody, peppery. It's a love for me!

This IMO is blended better than any of the other in the line, definitely more of a wearable perfume, that leans masculine . Saffron and leather, but more of a suede type feel. Almost reminds me of a softer Rosendo mateu #5 minus the florals, or again a smoother babycat. I like it alot. A Fall, winter, spring banger

This is a good one. I haven’t smelled TF oud wood in a long time, but at first spray I got some of that oud for greatness vibes, paper and sandalwood and/or cedar. Blast of spice off the top is attention getting. Definitely full bottle worthy. Great stuff. Edit, getting more dry cedar, this is amazing

For me this fragrance was heavy heavy leather blended with wood, spice and pachouli. Dried down to a beautiful floral forward as the leather takes a backseat. It reminded me of the way my ex-boyfriend smelled after an intense workout and a post gym ciggie. Sexy as sh*^!

The best burning vetiver. Dry in the heart and wet on initial top. Perfectly executed. It's the smell of my childhood. A 10/10 reminder of khus sharbat by Dabur. Very beautiful to say the least. Oud Maracuja pales in terms of creativity. This is the pinnacle

This is true gem. Most interesting perfume ever created for me. Subtle yet strong and present. Not blind buy safe. You can expect some saffron, some woods and leather and very slight sweetnes.

Complex and comforting saffron and vetiver combo. The exact same feeling as wearing the most perfectly tailored and ironed white shirt. Masterpiece!

Ingredients 07/2012 is a remarkably interesting and abstract take on perfume, with the composition remaining a secret to allow each individual to form their own relationship and understanding of the scent. I love the idea, and I really enjoy the way it smells too, usually I’m not the biggest fan of Crivelli but this is great. I do pick up on the synthetic plasticky/metallic accord that others are describing, but it’s not overpowering. From here, I’m mainly picking up on a lot of saffron and patchouli - it’s this contrast between something dark and earthy, alongside this rich, metallic sweetness. It also seems very woody, perhaps with a lot of cedar, mixed in with a large array of other stuff which to be honest is too difficult to pick out. If I had to compare it to something, the combination of saffron and patchouli ever so slightly reminds me of Secret Tryst by Fragrance du Bois. However, the metallic nature of this scent renders it significantly different at the same time. I like it, not sure I’ll be buying it though.

This scent is very tempting. It smells really good. The notes are really well blended that it's difficult to tell what I smell. All I get is some oud, leather, vanilla and saffron - maybe I am wrong. This scent reminds me of Aoud Vanille by Mancera a lot - it's almost identical to that fragrance, but Ingredients 07 2012 doesn't smell very synthetic compare to Aoud Vanille. Is it worth trying? Yes. It is worth buying? It depends. You will like it or don't. I personally find it very interesting and appreciate it, but I would personally not buy it, because it does not suit me. This scent is very long lasting and the sillage is quite strong. You will definitely get notice with this scent - 1 - 3 sprays are enough, but it depens on you, I would consider it very loud. I think it's suitable to wear it during fall and winter times.

I blind bought this and it is definitely no disappointment! I don’t know what this scent has to do with Prague, but it’s a lovely fragrance. To me it smells like black pepper, oud, suede leather and something fruity. I know this somehow from a lot of other brands, so it’s not really original. Still it’s well made and very pleasant.

I really fell in love with this one when I first sampled it, but now I can't help but detect some notes that can only remind me of burning plastic?? Surely this is not one of the titular ingredients... Other than this singular hang-up, there's much else to love about this one. Won't be buying a full bottle, however.

Picked up a bottle of this at the store in Prague during a recent visit. I actually really enjoy it. It’s giving me some resemblance to Santal des Indes by Amouroud and Clive Christian X. Lots of woods and spice with some cardamom and a little incense?

To me, this smells like black pepper, saffron, patchouli and iso-e super. Has that molecular feeling, but more heft and its strong for sure. Not bad honestly.

Very interesting and pleasant scent. Would fit someone who is very determined, confident, professional. The notes being not revealed makes the fragrance infinitely more interesting and mysterious. Without that gimmick I don't think it would be that well known relatively speaking. It's not for me personally. 6/10

Not too bad after time has passed, the base notes are leathery and interesting. Based on a sample: Have you been to a Chinese medicine shop? One of those that has a tall chest, up to the ceiling, with hundred small drawers, all full of medicinal herbs? And then in the back they boil and simmer the potions and bring you small pouches with thick brown liquid, that is sooo bitter, that you have to hold your breath while drinking? If you haven't been, you can get similar experience by spraying this on your wrist. I do not recommend drinking, obviously, but the bitterness of smell....oh my god. It is a very good choice for people who do not like sweet perfumes :)

I've gotten hold of the undisclosed note list from the brand: Top notes: French snobbishness absolute, Cynicism absolute Heart: Pretentious murmurs of l'art pour l'art gimmick Base: Hipster bullshit, Your hard-earned salary extract This recent trend of "too hipster to provide notes" is so fucking dumb and needs to STOP! As much as brands like to pretend that perfume notes are the biggest insult to their work, notes serve an important purpose: They provide guidance for potential customers who simply want a rough idea of what they're getting before dedicating the time and effort to locate and test the products on skin. Not a single soul has ever complained about Coca Cola ruining their drinking experience by mentioning "vanilla cola" on the bottle, and surely you too would hate to buy a pack of unlabelled Lay's, only to have some asshole in France decide for you that your latest mystery purchase shall taste of smegma. Why is it so hard to trust your customers' own preferences and judgements? Why all this pretentious wank, Maison Crivelli?

I love this house and I have them all, few full bottles, few travel bottles, and samples. Hibiscus M, Amber C, and Patchouli M were blind buys just as Ingredients. With that being said Im sad to report that Ingredients got me nauseous. Maybe I tested it too soon after arrival, well I waited a week and tried again. Sadly it didn’t not get any better. Since I have them all I thought it would be a safe blind buy, I was wrong!!! It smells like stinkweed! I don’t know what to do with it so if anyone in A’dam wants to buy it pls let me know.

There is a lot of love for this perfume, but I hate it. If you are in Amsterdam and want to buy it from me please message me. ONLY Amsterdam. Only sprayed once and put away. no box but bottle is full.

Bought this when it first launched. Instant catch and release. If you want to smell like melted plastic, or the smell of a hot iron on the ironing board, get this. Otherwise, steer clear.

Only one day wearing from a 2ml decant.... This is in fact an odd one. At first, on paper, I got the plastic rubber smell that some mentioned. Quite heavily. And only that. The next morning, smelling that same paper, it got a little woody and a little floral. Kinda started understanding the Oud Wood comparisons. First time on skin today from a 2ml decant and I’m about 5 hours in. I got none of the plastic smell. But did get a lot of woods, I’ll say cedar/oak like. And very faint floral until the dry down. I can see Oud Wood a little better but to my nose, it was crossed with Killian’s Straight to Heaven. At this particular moment, there is some faint woods but a mellow and pleasant vanilla like sweetness but not in a gourmand way. Many mentioned heavily saffron which I did get but I can’t say heavily. Very faint to my nose in a background non animatic leathery kind of way. This is good. But not a show stopper. Had I not already owned Oud Wood and Straight to Heaven, (and never had tried those), I’d strongly consider purchasing this. But I’m reserving final judgement until I expire the decant. One final note, this is not a fragrance that you can experience sniffing from the bottle, paper or your hand. This one needs to be experienced in the air. Projection and sillage are good enough for this.

I've been on a long niche testing journey the last couple of months. There are still many I want to test but I must have tested around 100-120 so far, and I can count the ones I view as 'special' (to me) on two hands with some fingers left spare. This is one of those special ones! From the MC extraits testing set, this one wowed me the most (Oud Maracuja a close second). Dark, classy, loads of depth and the quality is off the chain. Parts of it remind me of Oud Wood, but it actually reminds me of Creed Royal Oud the most! Was surprised not to see anyone make this comparison. But - Ingredients is better than both of them - both in terms of depth and quality. It seems to perform OK but I need to test that more. But I think it's going to be one I just have to own as long as its performance is at least average, as it just smells so damn good, and I'm only planning to have a collection of seven fragrances. I can see myself wearing this in the autumn and winter both day and night. Update: Sorry, but Oud Maracuja does actually have the edge over this! Both fantastic though.

@Nickyyyy if this grinds your gears, just check out Xerjoff's Join The Club, where not only one fragrance, but an entire line of fragrances refuse to list their notes. And the brand is Italian so it doesn't seem limited to the French :) Although I have to say that the JTC line at least names their fragrances to be somewhat inline with what the consumer would imagine it smelling like. 40 Knots seems like it has to do with boating and yachting, and it rightfully is an aquatic fragrance, etc. Even a total douchebag like Elon Musk is decent enough to name his fragrance Burnt Hair, to let everyone know that it smells like, well, burnt hair. I mean if I were to release a fragrance and name it Actual Ass, I wouldn't be upset when people complain that it smells like actual ass. But to name your fragrance "Ingredients" and then the date is next level trolling / snobbery. I already happened to pronounce Maison Crivelli in my head with a snobby French accent, and now it is even more so. Just give us the note breakdown!

I tested Safran Secret in store today. I smell a lot of the saffron, as the name suggests :) Up close on my skin it’s slightly sour, maybe like BO a bit, but weirdly in a not-all-that-unpleasant way. But the scent bubble is even nicer. It’s definitely not a blind buy and I can see a lot of people finding this weird. But it is very alluring and intriguing to me. The “vibe” of it reminds me of Molecule 01 I think. It doesn’t necessarily smell similar, but it has that “I can’t put my finger on it” / “is that just their skin?” vibes. Edit: I got a decant. I love it on some days, and on some days I find it “too much”. Probably won’t get a FB for myself. Performance is great. Plus points for being cruelty free and vegan friendly. Edit 2: My mom loves and wants a FB. I had to warn her about the price 😅

The basis of creativity in perfume industry is to create a new and unique scent.. The notes of this perfume are secret and unannounced, but its beauty is apparent to lovers of the new and unique creations.. The fragrance is woody and powdery with a strong beginning of red pepper , orange with basil, strong enough to steal your heart.. Slowly, the fragrance changes over time until the woody heart of the perfume appears wrapped in amber and a little musk.. With the passage of time, vanilla appears with a little patchouli, but the woody note is very prominent & continues to the end with a light powdery hint... The performance is wonderful 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 and the perfume is not suitable for blind buy , but it remains a masterpiece that has been added to the masterpieces of Maison Crivelli

This is an extremely polarizing fragrance, and I think pairs up with the other oud fragrances in Crivelli's line. If Cadenza is Oud-Gourmand, and Stallion is Oud-Leather, then Ingredients 07/12 is Oud-Steel. I get a very metallic steel shavings feel from this, with something like saffron aromatics on top. The sharp steel beam and saffron leave the oud base entirely alone giving way to its heavy animalic nature. This oud is very intense on skin and for me is way too aggressive. Very unique, and absolutely not for me.

Milujem túto vôňu. Hlavnou poznámkou bude určite drevo. Je to tak hlboká, drevitá vôňa. Neskôr tam je cítiť sladkosť. Nie je to nič podobné ako vanilka alebo benzoyn. Vôňa je spravená veľmi zaujímavo. Nie je to nič čo bude ľuďom prekážať no napriek tomu je to cítiť všade. Pre mňa skvelé na jeseň a chladnejšie jarné dni. Určite nie cez leto v horúci deň. Možno by to bolo fajn na letný večer keď sa zotmie a začne sa ochladzovať. Absolútny masterpiece.

This smells fantastic. Easily best of house, had my opportunity to try it and get sample in Ingredients Prague. It definetly has oud wood vibe but way way stronger and much more patchouli focused, i can smell patchouli, sandalwood, black pepper or incense, saffron-suede, liquerice. Performance is fantastic, it is on a pricier side but i think 50 ml will last a long long time.

Oh man, I'm surprised this didn't blast off into mainstream frag com. To me, this is super posh and a west coast vibe to the nth degree. The opening reminds me of a pleasant mall aroma, and then settles into a perfect white t shirt detergent scent. Side notes: This is very easy to wear and would be great for the days you need a break from heavier fragrances. Nicely done.

This would fit well into Comme des Garcons range. An example of abstract perfumery. Everybody can find different associations in this. Objectively it is rather fresh, slightly metallic, a bit lactonic and woody in this transparent a ’la ISO E SUPER way. It has moderate sillage and good longevity. I find it nice but nothing groundbreaking.

Modern perfumery minimalistic moleculer type fragrance. This is a smoky leathery a bit fruity like all this house fragrances. This achieves what I wanted from fragrances of this style it actually last and performed really unlike most moleculer scents who tends to vanished. Solid 8.5/10

Wow... I've sniffed a few of Crivelli's creations in my local perfume shop - WHICH HAPPENS TO BE INGREDIENTS IN PRAGUE!!!. That is astounding to me, that Crivelli have created a perfume for the shop... I'm blown away by that. I'll have to get down there at the weekend and try it out.

Its interesting to me that no one is mentioning Tom Fords Oud Wood. To me it has that same dna but its slightly different, more dirty but more smooth too. Out of the two, Id go for this, but if you have that dna already, I dont think you need it.

This one will remind you of lots of things. Amouage 40, oud wood, gaiac10 vibes with some synthetic molecules backbone. Unusually resinous and smokey. Best of house by far. Performance is great, versatility is awesome.

Molecule 01 + Steam with a slight liquorice / anise type nuance. Opens up strong and woody, but mellows quickly. Smells better in the air than on skin. Pleasant and comforting.

Took me ages to work out what this smells like... it starts out super spicy and beautiful but into the dry down it just smells like clothing being scorched by an iron?
