Dramatic Pause

Tbh I regret not giving Dramatic Pause a proper chance from the start. My initial impression was just hmm Masculine scent, which usually not my cup of tea. But I have to admit this scent is a true 'slow burn' centered around the concept of 'Wind.' Jacob seems to love playing with contradictions, which makes his work so captivating. It opens with a spark of pink pepper, but the real magic lies in the contrast: while Eucalyptus and Vetiver bring a bright, cool breeze, the Orris and Oud pull you into a dark, mysterious depth. It’s complex, earthy, woody, and smoky all at once. My favorite part, though, is that crisp Eucalyptus—it’s incredibly refreshing. Whenever I wear it, I picture myself on a windy, drizzly day, clad in a black trench coat and a matching fedora, standing by the shore and watching a ship slowly disappear into the horizon. Akin to the atmosphere and the picture of the song I love called Retire (final) - Alvedon (slowed version). Life if exhausted, sometime all we need is just to rest, to let our mind "retired". But seeking a retirement of the mind while the heart is still caught in an endless wind is not easy, and I think we’ve all been there.

This one is an interesting one. I will try to explain what I'm smelling from opening to finish Upon the initial spray what I'm getting is a blast of peppery, eucalyptus, boozy vanille mixture Like a sugary anise star vibe, very unique Then the mintyness turns into a rounded vanilla I can't fully judge if its full bottle worthy, but I considee it to be a unique scent I seem to be getting also milky undertones, probably coming from the fig note, which mixes well with the pepper and eucalyptus Overall it seems like something I would personally wear on a cold day, but I think it leans a bit feminine

Nr 4 from the discovery set I'm trying , dramatic pause. It opens somehow like a campher sweet eucalyptus candy my grandmother used to have, in the back comes the vanilla. It feels smooth and intimate, sweetish but not overly heavy, a little balsamic. Its like a memory from my grandmother. It's cozy and warm. It's beautiful and another great perfume from this house, you can really tell the quality is high and well composed
