Iris, iris and iris This one is all about iris From spraying on the blotter what I am getting is a blast of Iris, buttery and chic. I smell cacao in the background with something spicy, maybe vetiver, maybe patchouli. After 15-20 minutes in I start to get something a bit earthy or resinous, sitting next to the iris. I would also guess that there is a coffee note in there. It smells to me like a very complex scent that is deep and full of layers. This gets me very excited, as I'm a sucker for Iris. There's something SLIGHTLY vintage about it, but not in a way that a Grandma's frag would smell, but it just brings to my imagination a night in Paris with beautiful people sitting around during a cold afternoon in a posh place. That's all I can think of. In terms of seasonality I definitely think this is a colder weather sent that can be worn during the night, but also during a cold windy day. I am getting quality stuff here. This would probably be in my top three from the brand's Discovery set

This smells creamy buttery sweet and earthy. The opening is strong, but the dry down mellows it down to a beautiful comforting calming scent. It's almost gourmand but it never get too much "foody" It reminds me a bit of a creamy cocoa butter with vanilla in the back and something I can't put my nose on It feels deep sweet creamy velvety For me this smells really really good This is the third sample from the discovery set and so far it's no misses at all. It's beautiful, cozy, warm, elegant . I'm worried I will like all of them, my wallet will hate me 😅

6 years since I logged in fragrantica. I feel that this fragrance deserves it. I have been on a search for the perfect Iris... And I finally found it. Creamy, buttery, earthy Iris that is balanced with just a little bit of cacao. This is magic in a bottle. Very deep and complex with gorgeous sillage. 10/10 in every aspect. Ordered 2 bottles, now I can continue my life, happier, and sexier.

The way this perfume smells and how it is named work perfectly. In the opening you get the smell of pencil shavings along with a butteriness and sweetness from the vanilla. I have never smelt a fragrance like this and you may ask, why would I want to smell like this. Well as you wear it the iris fades and you get more of a butteriness and sweetness. This comes from the Moroccan orris butter along with the vanilla and cacao dust. This is such an amazing creation and I will be looking to get a full bottle soon.
