Bubble Bath

I tried it a few weeks ago at El Corte Inglés and didn’t like it at all on a blotter. It felt too artificial, almost acidic. Yesterday I got a sample, and on my skin it becomes wonderful. The initial soapy accord blends with lavender, coconut, and the musk in the base. I don’t perceive the patchouli note, but I go against the grain compared to other reviews because I find it more masculine, even without any earthy notes or anything that might disturb its clean scent. The rose is unusual as well: I don’t perceive it when I spray it on my skin, but I do on my clothes. Aldehydes are certainly present, even though they are not listed among the ingredients. On my skin, it almost has the effect of an aftershave with a light sweet coconut note lingering in the background, always noticeable, though less prominent than the soap, lavender, aldehydes, and musk. The result is very vintage and original. It is undoubtedly a sibling of Lazy Sunday Morning because of the aldehydes and musk notes. I don’t think I could wear Lazy Sunday Morning myself, but smelling it strongly reminds me of my childhood in Italy (and of my mother). I find it very successful in achieving its purpose, just like other fragrances in this series. The soap and lavender notes in Bubble Bath make the fragrance more masculine, almost sharp in the opening. It reminds me just as much of the soaps from my childhood, but with the lingering backdrop of my father’s cologne I like it very much. Today I received many compliments at the office, and I will certainly buy the 100ml bottle. Lo probé hace unas semanas en El Corte Inglés y no me gustó nada sobre una tira de papel. Me pareció demasiado artificial, casi ácido. Ayer conseguí una muestra y, sobre mi piel, se vuelve buenísimo. La sensación jabonosa inicial se une a la lavanda, al coco y al almizcle del fondo. No percibo la nota de pachulí, pero voy a contracorriente respecto a otras reseñas porque lo encuentro mas masculino, incluso sin poseer ninguna nota terrosa o que pueda ensuciar la sensación de limpieza que transmite. La rosa también es extraña: no la percibo cuando lo pulverizo sobre la piel, pero sí en la ropa. Sin duda hay aldehídos presentes, aunque no figuren entre los ingredientes. En mi piel tiene casi el efecto de un aftershave, con una ligera nota dulce de coco que permanece al fondo, siempre perceptible, aunque menos intensa que el jabón, la lavanda, los aldehídos y el almizcle. El resultado es muy vintage y original. Es, sin duda, un hermano de Lazy Sunday Morning por sus notas de aldehídos y almizcle. No creo que pudiera llevar Lazy Sunday Morning, pero su olor me recuerda con muchísima intensidad a mi infancia en Italia (y a mi madre). Me parece muy logrado en su propósito, al igual que otros perfumes de esta serie. Las notas de jabón y lavanda de Bubble Bath hacen que la fragancia sea más masculina, casi cortante en la apertura. Me recuerda igualmente a los jabones de mi infancia, pero con el trasfondo persistente de la colonia de mi padre. Me gusta muchísimo. Hoy he recibido muchos cumplidos en la oficina y sin duda compraré el frasco de 100 ml. L’ho provato qualche settimana fa al Corte Inglés e non mi era piaciuto per niente sulla carta. Troppo artificiale, quasi acido. Ieri ho preso un campione e provato sulla mia pelle diventa buonissimo. Il sentore di sapone iniziale si unisce alla lavanda, al cocco e al muschio di fondo. Non percepisco la nota di patchouli ma vado controcorrente rispetto alle altre recensioni perché lo trovo piu maschile anche senza possedere nessuna nota terrosa o che possa sporcare l’odore di pulito che ha. Anche la rosa è strana: non la percepisco quando lo spruzzo sulla pelle, ma su i vestiti si. Certamente presenti aldeidi anche se non presenti negli ingredienti. Sulla mia pelle ha quasi l’effetto di un dopobarba con una leggera nota dolce di cocco, in lontananza ma percettibile sempre, più forte di sapone, lavanda, aldeidi e muschio. Il risultato è molto vintage ed originale. indubbiamente fratello di Lazy Sunday Morning per le note di aldeidi e muschio. Non credo riuscirei ad indossare Lazy Sunday Morning, ma sentirne l’odore mi ricorda la mia infanzia in Italia (e mia madre) in modo fortissimo. Lo trovo molto riuscito nell’intento, come altri profumi di questa serie. Le note di sapone e dí lavanda di Bubble Bath rendono il profumo più maschile, quasi tagliente in apertura: mi ricorda ugualmente i saponi della mia infanzia ma con il sottofondo della colonia di mio padre. Mi piace moltissimo, mi hanno fatto oggi molti complimenti in ufficio e comprerò certamente il formato da 100ml

This is my all time favourite and signature fragrance for after a shower or bath in the evening before bed. I wear it every night. It is a very calming and relaxing scent. It does give of a photorealistic feeling of being in a bubble bath, I even get the scent and feeling of the warm water and steam in the air. I get a memory of the scent of the blue bubble bath liquid my mum used to put in my bath when I was little but not in a childish way, it is very light and mild but is also a very mature fragrance as it has a strong white musk base that smells very clean, laundry like and almost church like, like a white sage blended with freshly washed cotton sheets. I think the sageyness im smelling is coming from the lavender actually. It is slightly sweet from the coconut and the lavender gives it some depth and herbalness which is very soothing. I feel very clean and fresh when I wear this. This fragrance also puts me in an optimistic mood and makes me feel at home. I wear it to bed all seasons of the year but it is especially amazing and refreshing on a hot summer night.

The first time I smelt Bubble Bath I fell instantly in love - it was like a spell of comfort and freshness at once. the sparkling soapy note makes me feel impossibly clean and bubbly, as though I've just stepped out of the fluffiest bubble bath. Wearing Bubble Bath is like being wrapped in a magic bubble, floating weightlessly through the air while feeling utterly fresh and luminous. It's playful and serene, the kind of fragrance that makes the ordinary feel a little extraordinary. Yes, the longevity could be better - it doesn't cling to the skin all day - but I happily make an exception here. It's one of the very few perfumes I gladly reapply just to experience that effervescent opening again. And as it settles, the soft white musk emerges, lingering delicately like a whisper of soap bubbles popping on warm skin. I haven't found another fragrance that smells quite like this - clean, whimsical and quietly addictive. Bubble Bath truly lives up to its name: fresh, fizzy, and floating in magic. 🫧🛁🧼

I’m traveling through the Replica discovery set and this was the first one I decided to try before bed. And mmm what a pleasant surprise! 🤤 For me the coconut, lavender and musk come through strongly. And to be fair, these 3 are some of my favorite notes, so I’m thrilled. It all blends together wonderfully into this soft, creamy and clean fragrance. As it’s drying down the patchouli, which I normally cannot wear well, rises to the surface to join the magical alchemy unfolding on top. It’s not especially soapy, which I wouldn’t be mad about, so for those wanting a shampooey fragrance, this might not be it. It’s a bit more surprising than that. It’s just such a subtle, soft yet mildy sweet and gently floral clean scent. Just a tad powdery on the dry-down, which I also like. It’s as soothing as soaking in a hot bath. I am definitely considering purchasing a full bottle for a safe, pleasant work fragrance. This is really good.

This just smells.. like a luxury cleanness. Very pleasent smell that really feels expensive tho. There was always something up with these Maison Margielas. I always felt like 4 different MMs had exactly the same opening. First i tried the Bubble bath, then i tried Lazy Sunday Morning and the opening felt EXACTLY THE SAME, after a while when it dried down i could spot some differences.. I was asking myself if it's some kind of MMs DNA or something? But back to this one, it's sweet, clean, luxury, soapy, floral (i can really feel the rose tone), but i cannot feel the coconut that other people talk about. No coconut for me here. It's definitely more feminine than masculine, but i still enjoy wearing it myself (i wouldn't buy a bottle if i wouldn't). With this i smell clean but unique at the same time. ;)
