Bubble Bath

I tried it a few weeks ago at El Corte Inglés and didn’t like it at all on a blotter. It felt too artificial, almost acidic. Yesterday I got a sample, and on my skin it becomes wonderful. The initial soapy accord blends with lavender, coconut, and the musk in the base. I don’t perceive the patchouli note, but I go against the grain compared to other reviews because I find it more masculine, even without any earthy notes or anything that might disturb its clean scent. The rose is unusual as well: I don’t perceive it when I spray it on my skin, but I do on my clothes. Aldehydes are certainly present, even though they are not listed among the ingredients. On my skin, it almost has the effect of an aftershave with a light sweet coconut note lingering in the background, always noticeable, though less prominent than the soap, lavender, aldehydes, and musk. The result is very vintage and original. It is undoubtedly a sibling of Lazy Sunday Morning because of the aldehydes and musk notes. I don’t think I could wear Lazy Sunday Morning myself, but smelling it strongly reminds me of my childhood in Italy (and of my mother). I find it very successful in achieving its purpose, just like other fragrances in this series. The soap and lavender notes in Bubble Bath make the fragrance more masculine, almost sharp in the opening. It reminds me just as much of the soaps from my childhood, but with the lingering backdrop of my father’s cologne I like it very much. Today I received many compliments at the office, and I will certainly buy the 100ml bottle. Lo probé hace unas semanas en El Corte Inglés y no me gustó nada sobre una tira de papel. Me pareció demasiado artificial, casi ácido. Ayer conseguí una muestra y, sobre mi piel, se vuelve buenísimo. La sensación jabonosa inicial se une a la lavanda, al coco y al almizcle del fondo. No percibo la nota de pachulí, pero voy a contracorriente respecto a otras reseñas porque lo encuentro mas masculino, incluso sin poseer ninguna nota terrosa o que pueda ensuciar la sensación de limpieza que transmite. La rosa también es extraña: no la percibo cuando lo pulverizo sobre la piel, pero sí en la ropa. Sin duda hay aldehídos presentes, aunque no figuren entre los ingredientes. En mi piel tiene casi el efecto de un aftershave, con una ligera nota dulce de coco que permanece al fondo, siempre perceptible, aunque menos intensa que el jabón, la lavanda, los aldehídos y el almizcle. El resultado es muy vintage y original. Es, sin duda, un hermano de Lazy Sunday Morning por sus notas de aldehídos y almizcle. No creo que pudiera llevar Lazy Sunday Morning, pero su olor me recuerda con muchísima intensidad a mi infancia en Italia (y a mi madre). Me parece muy logrado en su propósito, al igual que otros perfumes de esta serie. Las notas de jabón y lavanda de Bubble Bath hacen que la fragancia sea más masculina, casi cortante en la apertura. Me recuerda igualmente a los jabones de mi infancia, pero con el trasfondo persistente de la colonia de mi padre. Me gusta muchísimo. Hoy he recibido muchos cumplidos en la oficina y sin duda compraré el frasco de 100 ml. L’ho provato qualche settimana fa al Corte Inglés e non mi era piaciuto per niente sulla carta. Troppo artificiale, quasi acido. Ieri ho preso un campione e provato sulla mia pelle diventa buonissimo. Il sentore di sapone iniziale si unisce alla lavanda, al cocco e al muschio di fondo. Non percepisco la nota di patchouli ma vado controcorrente rispetto alle altre recensioni perché lo trovo piu maschile anche senza possedere nessuna nota terrosa o che possa sporcare l’odore di pulito che ha. Anche la rosa è strana: non la percepisco quando lo spruzzo sulla pelle, ma su i vestiti si. Certamente presenti aldeidi anche se non presenti negli ingredienti. Sulla mia pelle ha quasi l’effetto di un dopobarba con una leggera nota dolce di cocco, in lontananza ma percettibile sempre, più forte di sapone, lavanda, aldeidi e muschio. Il risultato è molto vintage ed originale. indubbiamente fratello di Lazy Sunday Morning per le note di aldeidi e muschio. Non credo riuscirei ad indossare Lazy Sunday Morning, ma sentirne l’odore mi ricorda la mia infanzia in Italia (e mia madre) in modo fortissimo. Lo trovo molto riuscito nell’intento, come altri profumi di questa serie. Le note di sapone e dí lavanda di Bubble Bath rendono il profumo più maschile, quasi tagliente in apertura: mi ricorda ugualmente i saponi della mia infanzia ma con il sottofondo della colonia di mio padre. Mi piace moltissimo, mi hanno fatto oggi molti complimenti in ufficio e comprerò certamente il formato da 100ml

This is my all time favourite and signature fragrance for after a shower or bath in the evening before bed. I wear it every night. It is a very calming and relaxing scent. It does give of a photorealistic feeling of being in a bubble bath, I even get the scent and feeling of the warm water and steam in the air. I get a memory of the scent of the blue bubble bath liquid my mum used to put in my bath when I was little but not in a childish way, it is very light and mild but is also a very mature fragrance as it has a strong white musk base that smells very clean, laundry like and almost church like, like a white sage blended with freshly washed cotton sheets. I think the sageyness im smelling is coming from the lavender actually. It is slightly sweet from the coconut and the lavender gives it some depth and herbalness which is very soothing. I feel very clean and fresh when I wear this. This fragrance also puts me in an optimistic mood and makes me feel at home. I wear it to bed all seasons of the year but it is especially amazing and refreshing on a hot summer night.

The first time I smelt Bubble Bath I fell instantly in love - it was like a spell of comfort and freshness at once. the sparkling soapy note makes me feel impossibly clean and bubbly, as though I've just stepped out of the fluffiest bubble bath. Wearing Bubble Bath is like being wrapped in a magic bubble, floating weightlessly through the air while feeling utterly fresh and luminous. It's playful and serene, the kind of fragrance that makes the ordinary feel a little extraordinary. Yes, the longevity could be better - it doesn't cling to the skin all day - but I happily make an exception here. It's one of the very few perfumes I gladly reapply just to experience that effervescent opening again. And as it settles, the soft white musk emerges, lingering delicately like a whisper of soap bubbles popping on warm skin. I haven't found another fragrance that smells quite like this - clean, whimsical and quietly addictive. Bubble Bath truly lives up to its name: fresh, fizzy, and floating in magic. 🫧🛁🧼

I’m traveling through the Replica discovery set and this was the first one I decided to try before bed. And mmm what a pleasant surprise! 🤤 For me the coconut, lavender and musk come through strongly. And to be fair, these 3 are some of my favorite notes, so I’m thrilled. It all blends together wonderfully into this soft, creamy and clean fragrance. As it’s drying down the patchouli, which I normally cannot wear well, rises to the surface to join the magical alchemy unfolding on top. It’s not especially soapy, which I wouldn’t be mad about, so for those wanting a shampooey fragrance, this might not be it. It’s a bit more surprising than that. It’s just such a subtle, soft yet mildy sweet and gently floral clean scent. Just a tad powdery on the dry-down, which I also like. It’s as soothing as soaking in a hot bath. I am definitely considering purchasing a full bottle for a safe, pleasant work fragrance. This is really good.

This just smells.. like a luxury cleanness. Very pleasent smell that really feels expensive tho. There was always something up with these Maison Margielas. I always felt like 4 different MMs had exactly the same opening. First i tried the Bubble bath, then i tried Lazy Sunday Morning and the opening felt EXACTLY THE SAME, after a while when it dried down i could spot some differences.. I was asking myself if it's some kind of MMs DNA or something? But back to this one, it's sweet, clean, luxury, soapy, floral (i can really feel the rose tone), but i cannot feel the coconut that other people talk about. No coconut for me here. It's definitely more feminine than masculine, but i still enjoy wearing it myself (i wouldn't buy a bottle if i wouldn't). With this i smell clean but unique at the same time. ;)

This fragrance completely shocked me. I ordered a 10ml to sample it, hoping to find a spring summer scent (as my collection is largely spicy, vanilla coconut gourmands). I'm not a big fan of 'fresh linen, soap, clean' scents, but I find that on my skin the dry down comes through heavy on the bergamot and florals, and the soap fades quickly. There is a stabilizing quality provided by the musk, which grounds the scent. The longevity is INCREDIBLE for how light the scent is, I could catch whiffs up to 7 hours after application. I've seen a lot of mixed opinions regarding this scent, and I believe its in the 'your skin but better' and is very reactive to individuals skin chemistry. In conclusion, I immediately dropped big bucks on a full size and will wear this all summer long :)

There is truly nothing like taking a scorching hot "everything" shower and following it up with freshly washed clothes and a few generous spritzes of Bubble Bath. I feel like the cleanest bitch on earth. It's soooo nice. I crave the full experience though. I never use it to freshen up or to fake a clean feeling. The shower is essential. Which is why I often just end up using Bubble Bath and neglecting my other perfumes, because what could be a better post-shower choice than this?! I'm addicted to the squeaky clean bubbly soapy feeling. It definitely isn't a "plain bar of soap" fragrance though. There's a lot going on: lavender, coconut, florals, patchouli. I can see why some people find it off-putting. But I think it's perfect the way it is.

I am in absolute awe of this fragrance. Now, I get that some people don’t particularly fancy strong soapy accords, but it doesn’t make it a bad scent😭. At the start, the fragrance hits with vibrant notes of bergamot and florals (mostly lavender) all wrapped in soapy accords. Then, as it wears off, slight hints of florals still remain, but the soapiness increases and musk beautifully compliments the whole composition. I wouldn’t say that this fragrance is perfect for daily wear, because I find it a bit nauseating (at least in comparison to its sister scent lazy sunday morning), and I don’t really understand where people get coconut notes from, but it’s definitely a pleasant scent if used correctly.

This is a great and surprisingly a long lasting scent, especially for an EDT concentration. You do have to give it some time though as the initial spray can be quite lavender heavy and a bit overwhelming at first. But once it dries down, it transforms into a really clean, comforting “bubble bath” smell it genuinely feels like your nose is being hit with soft, soapy bubbles. It’s not talked about enough, in my opinion. If you’re after a simple, clean fragrance you can throw on straight after a shower to carry that fresh feeling throughout the day this is my go to. It has that effortless “joggers and zipped hoodie” kind of vibe and on my skin it actually projects quite well too.

I was in Santa Barbara when I ran out of perfume. I ran into a Sephora and was debating whether I should buy MM Replica's Beach Walk (an old favorite of mine) or if I should buy Maison Louis Marie's Bois de Balincourt. A lady working there suggested I should try Bubble Bath and said to her it was some sort of a mix of both. I tried it and loved it. It's not as sweet/feminine as Beach Walk and suits autumn/winter/spring days. I would have never picked it up if she hadn't told me to as I usually hate coconutty scents but this one is not too strong. It smells clean, like a day in a wintery coastal town. It's one of these perfumes you can't stop thinking of when they're empty.

Perfection ! This is just the scent that you get when you skin in a warm and comfortable Bubble bath. Very well blended notes that mixed replicate a warm bath feeling. Gentle like a cloud. Mildly soaped warm water with a hint of freshness. Clean, fresh, soothing and comforting. This is unisex but to me it leans much more towards feminine than masculine. I ́m a really big fan of the replica line and my senses tells me, that this is going to be in my top five. Silage and longevity is better than most of the other replicas. I imagine this as an all year / all occasions kind of scent. Love love love

ughhhhh. i wish this lasted longerrr. it lasts like 2 hours max and you have to be pretty close to smell it. but the actual scent is heavenly. like rolling around in bed in a towel just out of the shower. or freshly washed hair wrapped in a towel as you walk around at home. its so soapy and fresh but not in a way where it smells like water or cucumbers. it has a coconut and lactonic dry down which is the best part. to me, it has the dairy vibe without it being sour or too sweet. literally perfect. way better than lazy sunday morning too.

Holy Christ😮 that must be the sign to go back to baanfah piyarom at Lamlukka (My hometown) because it’s smells similar to that place. Not too much clean fragrance as I expected it’s similarly princess vibes who wearing an oversized dress live in the Versailles palace, and her hobbies are just taking a bath with a lot of bubbles (I know that Versailles palace doesn’t have any bathrooms but it’s the vibes I’ve got) Unfortunately that I heard from Siam paragon by seller that it’s discontinued. How early ☹️

i used to wear this two summers ago, and it brings me back so well. it’s smells so clean, like taking a shower on a warm summers day, it’s very sunny outside and not too hot, and you and your lover are cuddling underneath the ac. also it smells more clean and soapy rather than musk and skin, so keep that in mind if you want a ‘skin-like’ fragrance. but i absolutely adore it and would recommend it to anyone. a bit more feminine leaning, but if i recognized it on a guy i wouldn’t mind at all.

From the first spray, I loved the scent. I loved the soapy and coconut notes that left me feeling clean and I couldn't get enough of it. It does lean to the feminine for me. Its biggest downfall was the longevity and village weren't great on my skin. I probably won't get this unless I can get it on a discount as I'll probably compensate the poor performance by over spraying. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fresh and clean scent.

Exactly what I wanted- a clean, soapy bubble bath. Upon first spray, the scent of soap is forward, like when you first open a bottle of bubble bath to take a sniff. Where it shines is that it dries down in a beautiful way. It gives a naturally clean, warm skin scent that makes me feel like I just softened my skin for an hour in a luxurious bath. I can't get enough of it and smell myself throughout the day and get a wave of comfort as it wears.

Just to this and am so in love. It opens with a beautiful lavender and bergamot and it goes that way, but with the coconut and musk becoming stronger on the skin. I never thought I would find a fragrance called Bubble Bath sexy, but this one definitely is, probably due to the musk. I don’t get much soap though. It’s fresh, clean, beautiful and sexy in its own way and I can’t wait to add more of this line on my collection.

I think mother nature is mad she didn't think of this. She wishes one of her basic ass flowers smelled like this. On me it's not actually very soapy, it's mega floral. But goddamn the musk and patchouli and bergamot are so tasteful. The two images that keep coming back to my mind are a well-manicured white flower garden, and crystal clear sparkling water. It's aquatic in a fantastical way. Gorginnnnaa

I did not think I would like this scent, but when I wear it, I can’t stop smelling it. This is the longest lasting Replica fragrance that I’ve tried. It stays on for 4-6 hours. I have also layered it with a few other fragrance, and it does play well with others. It is the only one I’m tempted to purchase a full bottle of. I like Lazy Sunday Morning a little more, but it doesn’t last long at all.

oh i just love this one and wish that it lasted longer than it does! it's so nice and beautifully clean. i love to wear it in the summer when it gets hot and muggy outside so i can at least smell clean! it's so expensive for it to not last as long as it does. i personally get zero coconut, it's just all a very nice soapy scent. i do get compliments in the first hour after i spray it on myself.

THIS IS FOR UUUUU. jesus i cannot stop smelling myself i feel heavenly. HEAVENLY i tell you. it’s not overpowering it’s just sooo fresh without being cold and sharp just like laying in clean bedsheets after a gorgeous bubble bath in a 5 star hotel. i love it

Mmmm so clean and fresh! Kind of smells like an elevated coconut shampoo with a floral hint, or like that feeling you get when you've just washed your hands and they still smell good. I find it very comforting to wear and spray on my clothes. I think this perfume is so underated and maybe the soapiness puts people off but it shouldn't: you might be surprised by how much you like it.

WOW. This scent is special. I’m immediately transported to childhood beaches, summer laundry and falling asleep in a bed with clean linnens. A truly soapy, clean scent. Lifelike and poetic. It smells like if the colour white or the feeling of peaceful comfort was a scent. I smell soap, lily of the valley, aldehydes and coconut. Blissfully, no bergamot, patchouli or rose.

I'm currently trying to find the best "clean girl perfume" and this was recommended everywhere. This is definitely the most friendly scent that is not too aggressive and doesn't give you a headache. It doesn't really smell like a typical bubble bath and I mostly just smell coconut. But it's fresh and clean and I do like that it doesn't smell to manly or chemical.

This is my favorite clean scent. It smells exactly like being fresh out of the shower with soapy skin. It reminds me of a hug from a loved one, clean and cozy and undescribably comforting. Other people who have smelled this in on me described it as smelling floral, but I personally only smell a clean, cozy soapy cloud. I love the scent and have re-purchased.

Utterly depressed as this is the first bottle of perfume in all my life that has shattered on me (travel size.) My heart is in pieces, much like its bottle as I find myself now enveloped in cloud of bubble bath. Even with this overwhelming debacle, this smells of fragrant detergent or soap. Love it or hate it, as there is a sharpness to this, but I love it.

Soaking in a tub in a bathroom with fluffy rose pink carpet. Bowls and mason jars filled with little decorative soaps shaped like seashells. Spritz this on and then throw on a cream colored turtleneck sweater. You can tuck your nose into the collar to smell this whenever you want while you shop at an outdoor seaside farmers market on an overcast day.

Replica perfumes are generally a hit or miss for me because they tend to give me a headache after more than one spray- that being said, this and By the Fireplace are two of my all-time favorite scents. This is one of my friend's go-tos and it's so soapy and clean, with a floral and coconut hint to it that makes it perfectly sweet. Love. 5/5

To me, it smells like when someone has a beautiful natural clean smell to them, addicting and fresh. Like a beautiful girl you'd like to be like. Someone successful and with a good routine and lifestyle. Smells natural on the skin not overly perfume like, as if theyre fresh out the shower, and have a very clean subtle shower routine.

Performance is not incredible, as everyone else indicates, but the smell is perfect for what it's supposed to be. I don't know what other people are smelling, but it smells exactly like the bubble baths I would take as a kid, and it just brings me back. It's a beautiful clean, covered in bubbles, fresh out of warm water scent.

So much of fragrance is subjective. This EDT goes beast mode on my skin for some reason. Fantastic problem to have because this smells like the lobotomy of my dreams. One spritz and I feel like I've spent 12 hrs at a spa that has never seen a non-earth tone color. Ahhhhhh😌

i love love lovee this perfume ♡ the name is quite self explanatory, it does smell like a bubble bath or a nice spa. i'm not good with detecting notes but i do get lavender & coconut from this. nothing sharp, just very clean. would probably get a full bottle after this.

Clean but not too sharp, beautifully done. I love how the coconut is not obvious, and combines so well with the soap. One of my favourite bed time scents, there’s nothing quite like it! I don’t think it shares any similarities with Lazy Sunday Morning.

This is great as a fresh scent for warm weather but I use this year round after an everything shower to feel extra clean. It really smells like soap, with a tiny bit of coconut and clean musk. Probably the cleanest, soapiest perfume I’ve ever smelled.

It’s so crazy to think that soap can be made into a fragrance. This one really makes me feel like a kid again after you take a bubble bath and you’re in your new clean pajamas and you settle down for a good night sleep under a nice warm blanket.

Beautiful warm coconut soap. There is something creamy about it. So it's not a dry soap scent, but a creamy warm coconut soap scent. It does have a little bit of a vintage scent profile in a good way. Very nostalgic smelling. I like it.

smells like warm skin after a bath with lavender soap in the best way possible. this is one of my favorite fragrances ever it’s so beautiful and truly comforting! I love the coconut I think it’s fantastically integrated.

feels like having a squeaky-clean shower after spending some time under the sun. the OG clean scent for a reason and one of the stars in Replica line. uplifting and comforting at the same time.

I love that this fragrance is soapy more than powdery! The name is pretty spot on, it’s very spa-like and reminds me of a nice bath. I think this would be appropriate for a work-place.

i loooooove it, it smells soapy, coconutty, and even a bit mangoey?? maybe that's the florals at work. i haven't liked many of the MM scents, but this is the first one that i love.

It makes you feel like you've just washed with a lavender and coconut soap. After it settles a bit I get a baby like skin scent. When I wear it, it makes me feel soft and lovely

this is definitely my favourite out of all the maison margiela discovery set fragrances, it smells like a coconut milk body wash that would be used in a luxury hotel

This is luxury and opulence. If you wear this you will smell like you spend all day reading, shopping and getting spa treatments, and have never heard of a 9-5.

I am not a very big fan of freshies, but I love love loveee this scent. Very soapy, bubbly, but also smooth and soft with a hint of sweetness. Just beautiful.

Just phenomenal. It's a perfect fresh out of the bath smell that nails it's intentions as rarely a scent can do. It was my daily driver for a long time.

Initial spray is very musky coconut. After a few minutes on skin, all I’m smelling is rose. Feels much more mature than the initial opening

If you don't like the way that your girlfriend smells, just soak her in this. It's the most girlfriendy fragrance out there.
