Funny Little Things Whispered at Very Important Dinner Parties

Gorgeous scent! The notes do surprise me, as it smells like it has some jasmine, and maybe another hint of a white flower. Cozy, musky, lovely. I got about 6/7 hrs of wear, a great progression through a few stages- citrusy-tea fresh, then floral, then musky, and it wore closer to to the body. Very nice, I’d buy a FB. So far, I’ve loved all of the scents from this house.

MASSIVE upgrade from their first formulation. the new formula is really elegance in a bottle. chic, ambery intensity. i thoroughly enjoyed their first funny little but I will say it was a bit too floral for me. now THIS one matches their description and really is a moody, sensual amber. also stunning bottle

it's quite an elegant, thoughtful, and intelligent composition; reminds me quite of serge lutens creations and complexity 10/10!

I received this in the mail today and had purchased it as a blind buy because of the notes. On first spray, I disliked it for a few minutes as it came across as sweeter than I prefer. Perfume tends to go too sweet on me in general so I put the bottle aside. 15 minutes later I kept getting a scent and then remembered and smelled my arm. My arm smells delightful. On me, this went from sweet to smooth and clean. This settled into the most lovely, not too sweet cashmere freshness that is different than the other woody/tea fragrances I own. It sits close to the skin and definitely comes across as a warm, cozy scent. I find myself hard stopping and smelling myself. If your skin reacts like mine, give it a few minutes to settle and try again. I went from “huh, not for me” to “love” in 15 minutes as the top notes settled.

Thought I would like this more. Def a strong green tea with suede. Good idea, cute name, cute bottle, mid smell

The suede note was disappointingly strong- it overwhelmed the other notes on me. Nope.

It's funny they describe it as Manhattan in a bottle, because the second I smelled it, I got "Ren Faire." The combination of scents felt church-y to me on paper, but, on skin, it fully smells like walking through the Ren Faire stalls and getting whiff of incense.

This literally smells like shit on skin. Like you're trying to change a diaper and some got on your hand. Absolutely disgusting. At first it smells like a floral fruity VERY strong powdery scent, but then you get this.. after-smell of shit. Confirmed by three other people without mentioning shit to them. One of the worst things I've ever smelled.

I loved the name and wanted to blind buy but so glad I didn't!! Super disappointed in this. It smells nothing like the notes. There's this unbearable sweet white floral note that overpowers everything. Like a cheap sweet gardenia vibe. That's all I smelled in this when I sprayed it. I expected something earthy, interesting, almost unisex. Not that at all! There is also NO matcha note.

I love it. It's very sophisticated but also comforting. There is almost a white-floral freshness to it-- even though there are no florals listed, that's what it evokes. Super fresh and slightly woody. It's so hard to describe. I wouldn't even say that any of the notes stand out on their own, it's just blended so smoothly. Unlike anything else I've smelled. :)

I smelled indolic white florals with a sweet under-base like caramel. Possibly the amber base is labdanum in it's super sweet form? That and the cedar might give it that edge. None of the listed notes really showed up for me, just indolic florals and sweet something. Clean perfume though and priced reasonably at $75 for 50ml.

It’s just “ok” I can’t form enough of an opinion to complete a review - 5/10 (for the packaging & name)
