Pink Prestigium

What a perfect blend of rose, cassis and citrus. It reminded me of rose hips when I first smelled it, but no, Pink Prestigium smells much better than that. It's like a heavier, more substantial version of those light summer fragrances in the vein of Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay. The black currant in this is quite tart and not syrupy, especially as it's accompanied by grapefruit, and it also has some greens in it. The rose is very rich, but not jammy or powdery. These two main notes are supported by a creamy musk and a deep woody base. Oud, patchouli and leather keep the fragrance from being just another freshie. Especially the leather note is so lovely, it comes out gradually and doesn't overtake the roses and fruits, but it's unmistakable. This is not a typical rose and oud scent, the oud is rather understated and the rose is blended into the black currant. It's a fruity floral with a darker, more intense, long-lasting backdrop. I don't get vanilla from this at all. Any sweetness in it comes from the rose and currant. Pink Prestigium is quite versatile. I think I'd love it in late winter or early spring, as it has a refreshing quality to it but is strong enough to cut through the cold air. But now in summer it would also work, especially in the evenings. If you like tart berries and roses and don't want something airy and fleeting, this is a must-try. It's also my favorite by Mancera.

This perfume was a blind buy for me, and from the first moment I smelled it I felt a similarity to Angel by Mugler. I thought I couldn't be the only person to find that resemblance, so I searched the internet but couldn't find any mention of it. Am I crazy? Or is it just my skin chemistry making them both feel the same? I sprayed the inside of my elbow in one arm and Angel on my other arm. I feel some differences (Angel is like Pink Prestigium on steroids), but after a while they smell the same to me. I asked my mom and she thought they were the same fragrance. I love Angel so I liked Pink Prestigium a lot, but I'm happy I bought a decant because I feel like just one Angel in my collection is enough. Good projection and sillage, I would really go for a full sized bottle if not for the whole Angel likeness thing going on.

Just received this today in the mail today, it is not a love for me yet. The opening is a little harsh for me, but after 1 minute or so it becomes a very beautiful fragrance. I detected a lot of grapefruit on me. It last a very long time on my skin. let's talk about the bottle and packaging. There are three perfumes in the Prestiguim line, the bottles are extremely beautiful including the bag. I read somewhere that these three fragrances are part of the luxury line from Mancera. I will probably purchase the other two after a sniff. I am not sure if this is for spring or winter, regardless it is a beautiful fragrance for beautiful people. Although it marketed for women, c'mon this is 2020 - perfumes should be genderless. Wear whatever makes you happy and keep smelling awesome!

beautiful new signature contender! I went to pick up my tried and tested Mancera Intensitive Gold but came across with this sparkling beauty and purchased instead. Although you'd expect top-notes in first sniff, It seduced me with a instant cloud of grapefruit balanced with some lively sparkling rose and gentle caress of saffron. I'm also instinctively going for scents with guaiac that is not dominant here, but provides a solid base and lots of depth. Also a touch of creaminess. Leather and Vanilla don't play remarkable role on my skin, although its clear this juice is quite attractive and complex and is changing over the course of the day/night. As all Manceras, excellent balance of notes, develops beautifully, plus great staying power and moderate projection.

I have been looking for this fragrance for quite a while due to the mention of grapefruit again and again in reviews. When i bought it it's a syrupy rose fragrance with a bit of woody nuance in the background. I am surprised nobody mentioned the similarities to Guerlain rossa palisandro forte. After the opening. In the dry down this reminds me a lot of rossa palissandro. Kept getting whiffs of it throughout the day and kept reminding me of rossa palisandro. Guerlain smells more complex and has a better depth than this fragrance. It's more creamy and sandalwood is prominant in it. Of course up close on skin these smells like different Fragrances. But up in the air where it matters the most. These 2 are pretty redundant.
