Blue

I have difficulty finding fragrances appropriate for very hot, humid weather, because while my skin tends to do well with sweet, spicy, and woody notes, most easily-located and inexpensive summer fragrances are the popular “blue” fragrances, and these tend to turn much sharper and harsher on me than intended. While I’ve loved some indie perfume oils with aquatic notes, most off-the-shelf aquatic fragrances simply don’t work with my skin chemistry. I picked this up on clearance for next to nothing as a last-ditch attempt to find a suitable blue fragrance for me. As luck would have it, this turned out to be the best one I’ve tried! It smells as expected on my skin (which is a small miracle) and has a very pleasant, clean scent. While I can definitely see it being identified as a masculine scent targeted toward young men, I personally find it to be very unisex and something I could wear as an adult woman without it seeming out of place. It probably won’t be my go-to work hot-weather fragrance, but it will be great for casual summer days.

I like the overall fragrance, the negative things are that it doesn't project for a long period of time,longevity is hit or miss you either have the smell on you all day or it totally fades away. I'll finish out my bottle but as for me buying another bottle im still undecidied, because i know that there are a lot of other aquatic fragrances that last longer and project longer then this one

Wow this one works so nicely with my chemistry its crazy and I get compliments on it one lady had to stop me to ask what I was wearing

This is a revised review on Marc Ecko Blue. I purchased Marc Ecko Blue in the single 0.5ml size bottle a few months back. It smells good with decent length. It is a stripped down Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce. It don't last as long, it don't have sillage up the wazoo, and it don't have the pine heavy note to it. It is much cleaner. For that reason, it is similar to Curve but still it is a little less clean and slightly less synthetic to my nose. It's a nice budget comparable to Fierce but it has nothing really special to write home about. As others stated, it is a good starter scent The length of this scent was about four hours with soft sillage for me. This fragrance also is a spring and summer scent through and through. I originally give it a 7.2/10 in my original review but give it a little bit lower rating of a 7/10 now after smelling another Fierce clone. I actually gave it to my brother.

This was one of my first scents ever in the early 2010s when it came out in middle school. I've got to say, its cheap and generic. Longevity is alright, nothing special. This is a GREAT middle-high school gym cologne. It's basic, but in a safe way. Overspraying really isn't an issue here, which is nice for someone young who is new to colognes. Wearing a cheap freshie like this and putting 4 sprays on is entirely different than 4 sprays of something like sauvage elixir, not only for the wallet but also for everyone that you're NOT suffocating in a classroom by wearing something like this. This definitely isn't near the quality of a higher dollar cologne, but again... the price is great! I would recommend to anyone young for the gym or a school scent

I love this scent. I just wish it lasted longer! The opening is a strong smooth mix of juniper and aquatic notes with a hint of spiciness. I don't get a lot of citrus out of it, it may be adding a little sharpness to the spice. As it dries down, the sandalwood and musk come out leaving it as a slightly woody musty scent, very pleasing. Unfortunately, the longevity of this is very low. I sprayed multiple sprays on my wrists, hands, and neck and only two hours later, the top notes are completely gone and the base notes are fading fast... this may be partially due to my own skin chemistry, which just consumes perfume. It is definitely one that you have to keep with you to refresh it during the day. But it's absolutely worth doing so!

I picked this up on a clearance rack years ago, I believe I paid $12 for the 100ml bottle. I would say this is an ideal starter scent for a middleschool or high-school aged young man. For the price, it's actually a good value for a fragrance that's under $20. You can expect about 6 hours of performance and a couple hours of arms length projection. For a sub-$20 frag that is pretty solid and above expectations. For an older guy like myself, this was a really solid gym fragrance I kept in my bag for years. It's super cheap, so losing it or just Simply overspraying it is not an issue at all. It never pulled any compliments, but it did it's job. It kept me smelling fresh at the gym while not choking out everyone around me.

It's a nice and really affordable fragrance that's good for all ages perfect for summer or warm weather good for office jobs as well it's a light scent last for about 3 to 4 hours maybe a little longer the smell sticks around but its really lite when it goes past the 4th hour just people won't smell it unless their close up but overall it's a safe scent won't offend people cause it smells good and it's affordable you can get the set $30 to $40 it's worth checking out you cannot go wrong with it at that low price blind buy

Very soapy. Smells very fresh and a lot like Irish spring soap. Which isn't a bad thing. This is great for at home or the gym when you just want to feel clean. Pretty good for the price to

Strong aquatic notes but the plum and lilac are definitely present in the opening and actually become more pronounced as the aquatics dissipate during the dry down. This seems like a young man’s fragrance to me but may work for older guys , like myself, for a walk in the park, the beach or a very informal bbq/pool party. It’s a real bargain in scent and performance at the $10-$15 range.

Very potent aquatic EDT. A single spray lasts seemingly forever of this stuff. For the price, it works well and smells decent, although the top notes are a little much IMO. Still, you can't go wrong with how cheap it is- perfect for the summers, although for a similar price point I would look at Voyage

Initial citrus notes smell great but then it quickly dies down to juniper berries. Found this for 6 bucks at Wal Mart and thought it'd be a great gym cologne until it turned into juniper berry juice. It honestly reminded me of CK Eternity's middle notes. The problem is that Eternity dried into a helluva great scent that I got many compliments on. This stays smelling like juniper berries for hours. I'll be using it as deodorizer for bathroom or garbage. Either that or maybe I'll find a younger kid who can use it as a beginner cologne. This doesn't work for a 40 yr old male even at the gym unless juniper berries are your thing.

M1ndfuk3d summed it up about six reviews dwn.This is a great starter scent and one that I wear around the house. I have a few dozen bottles of cologne and for any event I can possibly think of I have something else I Would chose over this.Unlike others the longevity is nonstop on my skin and also very thick on me so I can only wear it in winter months. Got it free with a purchase from the Ecko outlet and actually chose this one over the other two. It will not be replaced unless it's free again tho. Not bad but way to many better offerings

Extremeley fresh and clean, like too much. It almost strikes at me with how sharp the smell is. Be carefull with how much you put on, you may knock yourself out. Smell: Fresh and clean, nothing amazing, 6.5/10 Longevity: Lasts a decent while 5-6 hrs, 7.5/10 Bottle: bottle to me is the best part, 9/10 Test first, if you do like it, god bless you lol

What an embarrasment, even for the Ecko brand. Not a thought was put into this scent other than, "How can we get this to smell like CPE". Avon has hired better creativity. Move along folks....Absolutely nothing to smell here.

So, look, it’s a $20 frag for a 3.4oz or 100ml, so you can’t expect much, but what you do get is interesting in the sense that, the scent isn’t as good quality or well blended like a Nautica Voyage, and it is absolutely synthetic smelling, but it’s not a bad scent and it does grow on you the more you smell it, at least it did for me, to the point where I started with a 0.5oz, then got a 1.7oz and then a 3.4oz. But where this frag makes up for its shortcomings is in its performance. It projects slightly, not a crazy amount, but for a cheapie, this will last 4-6hrs, which is almost twice as good as most frags in it’s price range which are generally between 1-3hr scents or 2-4hr if you’re lucky. So, while it may not be something you wear to a formal event or a date as a grown man, you could totally rock this anytime you need something that will give you all day coverage on the cheap. It smells a lot like Kenneth Cole Blue, just without the buttery accord that KCB has to it. Considering the Price: 4/5

Ecko Blue is another typical blue perfume that aims to bring a feeling of freshness, based on the power of the most citrus fruits and lighter woods. The output is very similar to other fragrances of the same style, for example, Nautica Blue. It has notes of black currant, plum, marine and citrus notes. After an hour, when evolution is well advanced and the scent of lavender joins juniper and geranium notes, with a sandalwood base, the result is really formidable. In short, Ecko Blue becomes a light, floral and dense woody, always driven by the freshness of the opening notes. The problem is only one: after three hours of application, there is no sign of fragrance on the skin.

This is the first scent that I ever bought my husband. It was his "starter fragrance" because before me he never wore anything. I thought getting something that wasn't too "cologne-y" would be a great way to edge him in. Mind you, this is a large dude who is never going to reapply during the day. And with this it lasted until he went to bed at night. He just smelled like fresh out of the shower strong. Super decent, especially for the price. Up there with original Paris Hilton for men. Performs waaaaaay better than any Nautica. By far the best Echo on the market.

As much as I love the original and the blue fragrances of Marc Ecko, I have to say the Green variation is far better! It has fresh top notes of pineapple leaves and apples; with mid notes of blended white cedar, and rainforest watery notes that make it an awesome affordable fragrance! Fragrantica should have a review of it since it is part of the Marc Ecko collection.. Not referring to the UNLTD Green version either.. The Marc Ecko Green that goes with original and Blue versions.

This is better than the original one, I think. It's a bit fruity and aquatic fresh. It reminds me of the original True Religion and the Drifter. It's like a crossover of the two. The drydown becomes less fruity aquatic but still stay clean and fresh. Then it gets slightly dry; becoming more like a dry toothpaste like the original one does. It's a fragrance for summer for sure. It should appeal to wide range of people but not my must have item.

I love Marc echo blue right off the bat. Got the 3 piece gift set with the shower gel and mini. I get juniper berries then a woody light drydown. And u can find this at a value. I like getting more for my money. I have had Prada & Dior colognes and been thru a ton of blue cologne they are either too Mandarin orangey or just too sickly oceanic.bit this eckoblue is just right and not overwhelming. A safe blind buy as well! Get it!

This fragrance is definitely fresh and clean. In my opinion its a good one to just wear around the house. On my skin, this stuff only lasts about 3 hours. ...maybe because I'm in a humid climate. Anyway, you can't go wrong with this one... it smells good and the price is good. I would say this would be a good cologne to start out with.

This smells like Fierce mixed with Curve on me. I definitely smell the aquatic and green notes. Lasts forever but the scent stays very close to the skin. This is a very "appropriate" cologne. Not too strong and won't offend anyone, but definitely won't turn heads either. Definitely an immature scent but that's what makes it fun!

Refreshing aquatic, zesty citrus and some spice to open up those nasal pores. Clean, crisp and bold. It wakes you up in a good kind of a way. The only downside is 15 minutes into it it smells like any common man fume, earthy and musky notes come thru. Moderate silage, up to 4 hours.

smell like moves edt ive had two bottles of this one for years and hardly touch it but it is strong & long lasting if i put it on a shirt . i only bought it back when i started buying bottles and didnt know no better . i would not buy again

I liked the insence and spices, anise and "aromatic" notes in the other ecko bottle but this juice smells just aquatic and fresh like virtually every fragrance at the counter

Just reminds me of a sweeter version of nautica n83 , bitter marine blue scent that's borderline generic. Its a bargain price but not a hidden gem just low maintenance.

Didn't love, didn't hate. I'm just sick of aquatics, and this one has a wee bit too much of that creeping into it. Probably better for nights, I would think.

I wanna say this fragrance is more in a 3 way tie.!. With Ecko Green and the original . I have all three. Same bottles different colors... Green is awesome!

Not a bad smelling frag....pretty fresh warm-weather scent.... but longevity is a problem....overall: eh, not really impressed. PASS.

Not for the mature man or well-developed nose. I think this one would be perfect as a beginning fragrance for the 12-16 age range.

Yuck. I prefer marc ecko red. Very very good cheap freshie.
