Daisy Dream

This was one of the first fragrances I ever bought for myself - I remember getting a tester strip of it and smelling the heavenly dry down the next day. Since then, I've tried many other fragrances but keep returning to this one as a signature even though 10 years have passed. It is tender, airy, and sweet, like a gentle breeze blowing through white and purple flowers on a warm day. There is something very 'blue' about it - not quite aquatic, but dewy and fresh, which feels a bit like mist. The notes are blended beautifully, I feel jasmine and blackberry are slightly more prominent in the opening but it's hard to pick one note apart from the rest. It feels natural, juicy, and comforting, and despite being fresh it is huggable, especially after it dries down. I wear something different on cold and dark days, but this is perfect for summer, spring, and most of the Australian autumn. I can imagine someone of any age wearing this. Unlike Daisy (and many other fragrances I've tried), it's not obnoxiously 'happy' or young. There's something optimistic and innocent about it, but it feels sophisticated and clean without being clinical. It’s perfect for daytime, the office, casual outings, and even low-key evening events when you want something light and charming. While it’s not a room-filling scent, it has a soft, airy presence that lingers gently. I imagine this would be perfect for someone effortlessly elegant, lighthearted but refined, gentle, and intelligent. Someone who doesn't go out of their way to stand out, but who is a delight once you get to know them. It doesn't last more than 3-4 hours on me, but its delicacy naturally comes with a shorter wear time. For such a tender fragrance, its longevity is comparable to others (e.g. Chance Eau Tendre), and I still catch a whiff of it up to 5 hours later if I bring my arm close to my face. Daisy Dream is just gorgeous; it's delicate, gentle, and versatile while feeling natural, huggable, and sweet. It's not surprising to me that this was created by one of the perfumery legends; it knows what it is and does it perfectly.

DREAM WHIP & Dew Drops. Signed by perfumers Alberto Morillas (Bright Crystal Versace) and Ann Gottlieb (5th Avenue Elizabeth Arden), this beauty opens with a dewy, fruity burst of pear-blackberry with citrus touches from grapefruit, that transitions into a sweet floral heart of wisteria-jasmine with fruity touches from litchi that has whipped, velvety & dewy qualities, all resting on a musky vanilla-wood base with coconut nuances. Overall there is a whipped & velvety quality with a shampoo & tea vibe in the background. Average performance with a small scent bubble on my skin, however some reviewers have cited performance issues. Contrast to Daisy Marc Jacobs: These are different, but there are some similarities with the Daisy DNA. Daisy Dream has a whipped, dewy quality that's more forward. Performance is roughly equivalent. Contrast to Yellow Diamond Versace: These are different, but there are some similarities with light fruity florals. YD is more citrus forward, and has mimosa. Performance is roughly equivalent. Contrast to Daisy Eau So Fresh Marc Jacobs: These are different, but there are some similarities with the Daisy DNA. DESF leans greener, while Daisy Dream has a more forward whipped quality. Performance is roughly equivalent or slightly better for DD. Contrast to Bright Crystal Versace: These are different, but there is a similar vibe with light fruity florals. BC has more forward red fruit, while DD has a more forward whipped pear. Performance is roughly equivalent. Contrast to Dot Marc Jacobs: These are different, but there is a similar vibe of light fruity florals, and the Marc Jacobs DNA. Dot has a more forward honeysuckle, while DD has a more forward whipped pear. Performance is superior in DD. Overall: Average performance for a light summer wearing experience, and a beautiful scent profile, this is the perfect scent for daydreaming. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

I decided to wear this today, a few spritzes and I am suddenly transported back to my late teens-early 20s, I loved this back then and I still love it now so I'm still not sure why I havent' reviewed it yet, so here goes! I love the Daisy line (but not 100% sure if I like Daisy love..), but this was my first ever proper perfume that I bought for myself early on in my fragrant adventures, partly influenced at the time by a youtuber, Emma Blackery since I was a huge fan and she stated that Daisy Dream was one of her favourites when she uploaded a video all about perfumes and partly because of the beautiful bottle and blue juice. I wore Daisy Dream daily all the way through 2017 and rotated between Daisy Dream and Daisy Eau So Fresh for a while until I sort of lost interest in mid 2019 and we parted our ways, until I realised I didn't own the OG Daisy and that I should really complete the trio, so I started wearing all three from time to time again. The opening is a mixture of fresh and sweet; a true fruity floral, I get a hit of blackberry almost immediately before it dries down, I can then smell grapefruit, litchi and some wisteria before it dries down to a blackberry/wisteria musk, its quite simple, yes I can see why some think its generic but I love it for its clean simplicity, I don't really pick up on the coconut, jasmine, pear or white woods though personally. I don't have any issues with longevity, 5 spritzes give me 6 hours of wear with a light silage, its an easy reach scent which is totally office safe, perfect for casual wear and I can see why people would like this as a signature, heck! it was MY signature for a fair while. Repurchase? probably!

I blind bought this today because it was surprisingly cheap at my local Walmart and I have always thought the bottle is absolutely gorgeous. It smells really fresh, clean like a light cologne, leaning more towards the feminine side of course. Some of the reviews define it as girly, and as one who loves sweet and fruity florals, but also enjoys unisex fragrances, this is not my girliest perfume? Maybe I am not the most experienced with pure florals. I find that the projection and longevity are great on my skin, maybe because I live in a drier weather? Idk but I loved it, it was a great addition. As soon as I sprayed it on, it drove me crazy how it reminded me of something, I reached for my Acqua di Goia which was my first guess, similar but no: this smelled EXACTLY like something I couldn’t put my finger on! After finally giving into the urge of finding out and searching for it in fragantica, sure enough, it smells exactly like Versace Yellow Diamond which I used to own. Maybe it lacks a tiny bit of the sweet component at opening but then the dry down is even more similar. Someone compared it to Light Blue which I also own, they do smell like the same category but imagine that one is an incredibly sweet lemonade with a little bit of a sexy masculine kick, this is more like a flower tea with lemon and a teaspoon of sugar if that makes sense lol.

My first ever “big girl” perfume from Sephora. Christmas of ninth grade. I loved how ethereal and fresh it smelled even as a teen. I remember feeling almost like they’d bottled my very essence. I didn’t ask for a perfume that year, so I remember being very touched that my mother and father saw this lovely blue bottle dotted with white daisies and associated it with me (: It is soft and does not project heavily, which in my opinion makes it perfect for school or work. As a fraghead I understand the appeal of wanting to leave behind a scent trail and turn heads with your fragrance, but I feel as though there’s a certain romance in very intimate scents. I imagine a kiss from a lover on the wrist and neck, and a quick inhale of sweetness. I really love this scent. I found my old, near-empty bottle and gave myself a spritz on a whim and I now feel compelled to repurchase. Things that come to mind: pre-Raphaelite paintings, sea nymphs, dew drops, girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes, Ophelia’s watery deathbed, the last unicorn.

I bought Daisy Dream after sampling it on a trip to St. Maarten a couple of years ago. On me, the lychee and wisteria are most prominent. I love lychee scents and in DD it balances lithely between the slightly dried pear and floral mids. The blackberry is subtle so I don't find this to be a "berry" scent. I love jasmine and it's light and lovely here. The combo of base notes reads slightly tropical and mildly aquatic some days, and more musky, soft, and creamy other days, maybe depending on the temperature. It's sophisticated without much seriousness and fun without being juvenile. Because of this, I find it pleasing to wear year-round and in most situations. I'm not a fan of the pillar, Daisy, but adore Daisy Dream. It's not the only lychee frag in my collection, but it differs from the others in a way that makes it also worth having. You won't wow anyone with DD, but it's unique as well as an easy reach, which is just the kind of fragrance that ends up becoming a staple for me.

Odd review, I know. But, here we go... I attended a "mostly traditional" Cambodian wedding this past weekend. I say mostly because traditional ones take 3 days and nights but this one was 3 hours. One of the traditions involves couples giving the bride and groom haircuts. Obviously, it was symbolic with gold comb and shears and mirror. Each couple "combed" the hair, "cut" the hair, "sprayed" the hair with a beautiful fragrance and then held the mirror out for the bride and groom to approve. All these things were "mock" and not actually done but the fragrance was sprayed on top of a symbolic gold chalise of water and fresh flowers and the smell permeated throughout the space and now I must have a bottle! What a beautiful, lush scent. I knew the bottle looked familiar sitting with the gold comb, brush and mirror. And what a lovely memory I hold of the scent now!

9/10, I absolutely adore this fragrance. I'm always impressed with what MJ puts out, but this one takes the cake for me. Fresh, unique, youthful, and ethereal, this perfume is full of personality and is my go-to warm weather work perfume. The pear and wisteria really come through to me initially, and the musk on the dry-down is gorgeous and long-lasting. A pretty safe blind buy. I got it originally from my mother, who said it smelled metallic on her. So if you're prone to this happening, I wouldn't buy. I'd be interested in trying the flankers, but there's just SO many... I think it would make more sense for MJ to just make different lines since there's literally no daisy in this at all, but that's not my business

I used to dislike this and find it boring but after wearing it for a solid week paired with eos fresh and cozy lotion I love it!! I can smell all the nuances and it’s a gorgeous almost perfect ethereal angelic scent ugh. My best friend and boyfriend gave it a 9.5 out of ten and I have to agree, the only thing that makes me sad is that it doesn’t have any sillage but my boyfriend says it lasts all day. I may just be nose blind because I reapply every like 5 hours. Reminds me of bluebells and kisses and lacy tank tops and secrets between girls. This is kinda juvenile but I don’t care it’s fresh and clean and beautiful and anyone can be fresh clean and beautiful no matter their age.

My favourite fragrance. It is feminine, dreamy, floral, powdery, airy and fresh. It's a delicate scent that reminds me of a pale early-spring afternoon, or walking through a flower garden after a light fall of rain. I really like the powdery notes and its freshness reminds me of laundry softener in the best way. I've used this fragrance for close to a year now after trying it on many times at the pharmacy, and it never fails to invoke a nostalgic softness, some tender half-rememberance of a simpler day. The bottle is very pretty and the scent is not overpowering, but lingers in a nice, hazy way. Lovely perfume.

Such special memories smelling this on my big sister from the backseat of her boyfriend's ford recently repurchased after thinking of it fondly for about 8 years now i don't think i can say it's as great on me .. but i love how femme and clean it smells, it captures that irreverence and gentleness of being a teenage girl rlly nicely . Umm something something lux lisbon vibes. for ladies like me.., it's a perfect sweetness if u tend to wear more masc/woody scents n shy from more heavy caramel/sugar/fruity notes, if u wanna give something more feminine a try

I tried this on about a year ago. And I haven ́t been able to forget about it. But I did walk around thinking it was to expencive, and the money was better spend else were. Last week, my husband and I went on vacation, with his family. My word, it was a vacation of pure H-E- dubble hockeysticks. My husband and I agreed on 2 things: 1) Never will we ever go on a vacation with his younger brother again and 2) We should spoil our selv in the dutyfree shop. So I got my Daisy Dream. My husband loves it, and says his fallen in love all over again *blush*

I know the projection and the longevity is frustrating but there is something about this perfume that tugs at my heart stings. It just draws me in every time. Its light and ethereal, soft, and dainty. I think this is seriously lovely. I definitely pick up on the blackberry and wisteria. I just wish for the price point it lasted longer because the scent is heavenly. I see other people use it as an after shower body mist but I don't want to use up my bottle that quickly so I just spray a little and enjoy what time I have with it.

I just have a sample atm, but it’s very pleasing, and I prefer it to the original. I plan on buying a bottle. It’s not really my standard taste, I prefer warm, deep, and spicy scents, however it is lovely for bedtime, simple and pure, and I think it’s wonderful for layering over re-formulated, too sharp fragrances. It really mellows them out and blends well, much better and longer lasting for me than on its own. But it does seem to like me and my skin. Go figure 🤷🏻♀️ I feel like it keeps asking me out.

Tried a sample of this only knowing the name, I thought this was going to be super flowery and daisy. Yet in fact, it is more fruity and sweet with ever so slightly note of flower. I haven't tried many but this is probably my most favorite perfume so far. Though I have to admit it doesn't last very long, I guess about 2 hrs top. Definitely don't expect any longevity with this one, but if you want something light yet sweet and feminine this may be a good choice. 100% gonna buy full size.

Love this fragrance, it's so light and airy. Perfect for everyday wear or if you don't like bold fragrances. It smells fresh, calming and I can really pickup on the blackberry and wisteria notes. Almost has a cologne-like type of scent, but leans more feminine. So it isn't the most feminine fragrance out there. Not the longest lasting fragrance but I don't mind reapplying it when needed. I love the bottle, it looks so cute and nice without being too bulky or awkward to hold.

This perfume always reminds me of a really good friend of mine who I've lost touch with. I bought it when I first really started getting into fragrances. it's beautifully feminine and fresh, I really get the wisteria and coconut water, and the rest of the notes add a level of depth and luxury, however fleeting. Due to its terrible longevity, I spray myself with it before I get ready to go out/ just want to feel lovely at home. Daisy Dream always makes me smile <3

One of the first fragrances I bought for myself in my youth, in a little rollerball that I still have as an adult. It’s sweet and floral and understated, perfect for a young girl. Compared to the original Daisy, which I actually used a little bit more in my youth, it’s mellower, less floral and more fruity, and I prefer it now as an adult. It no longer suits my image, but I wear it sometimes at home. Comforting, especially in spring and summer.

i had this one! lasted about nothing because It was a 20ml travel size and I took It with me everywhere so I could keep reapplying. Eventually the spray nozzle came off when It was about to be done with. Reminds me of the original formula of Dior addict eau fraiche formerly known as Dior addict 2, juicy! Wish It would have a better longevity, Will probably repurchase sometime after I've cleared some "awkwatik 90s" bottles off my collection

I mainly get blackberry, juicy pear, wisteria and light coconut water. Its not fruity, more fresh and bright. Makes me think of a spring morning, flowers still wet from a rain shower. I love it. Very easy to wear and won't upset people around you. Its somewhere in between the original Dolce (green bottle) and Eclat D'arpege. I do wish it was a bit stronger and projected more, but its an edt and so good I don't mine re-applying.

Sometimes I get overwhelmed with my collection and get overwhelmed of smelling so many different perfumes and the niche and ultra niche can become exhausting, that’s when I go back to basics and go back to my good old daisy dream, one of my first perfumes in my collection, back when life was simpler, back when I didn’t know what a gourmand was or what oud was. This perfume grounds me and makes me feel fresh, clean and happy.

My very first expensive perfume. I fell in love with the scent after smelling it in the store and decided to save for it when i happened to get a very very good deal on it! After that it became my go-to perfume for a while. The scent is fruity, floral, and light. It's a very beautiful scent i just hoped it lasted a little longer. Nowadays i only wear it on special occasion and i layer it with other perfumes in my collection.

Fresh and light everyday scent that the bottle depicts perfectly. Unfortunately the longevity and sillage are very poor making it ridiculously overpriced. Usually I spray any given scent twice in the morning and won’t reapply the rest of the day but this needs constant reapplying. I can’t even smell it on my clothes after an hour or so. I absolutely adore the scent but won’t be repurchasing.

Back in the day when I started changing over from body mists to perfumes I was obsessed with Marc Jacobs Daisy line and still am over a decade later. This one is of course similar to the rest of the collection but somehow is the most lackluster. I remember preferring daisy dream forever. However, I still do love this fragrance and the Daisy line will always have a special place in my heart.

This is delicate, feminine, fresh and peaceful. It's beautiful, but I just wish it lasted longer. Despite the poor lasting power I continue to repurchase it. I wear this most days, regardless of the season. It's just so lovely. So easy to throw on any day, and to wear to work as it's gentle and inoffensive. I haven't found anything else quite like it. I do get compliments on this one!

This is both my favorite Daisy scent and my most disappointing. It's such an easy, fruity floral to wear but it is gone so fast. I thin it even has decent silliage, considering how short lived it is, but it just doesn't last. I am relieved they brought out the EDP version (Dream Forever) because now I layer them and it gives me a scent that last much longer than the original.

It smells to me very fresh and clean. To my nose, it is not very fruity, but I love this one. Projects well, long lasting! An easy compliment getter. It is a safe perfume for office wear and even for gifting! I wouldn't repurchase this anytime soon solely because I would like to try the other flankers this time! I have a strong feeling that I will come back to it!

Perfectly subtle. I get 6 hrs with a foot projection for about 2 hrs. I like this as a man, because every note is present to me, yet none truly dominate. Just floral enough to be soft, just enough white musk to be clean, and just enough fruit to be juicy. Pretty standard scent, yet balanced and done perfectly.

i love this fragrance and i have extremely fond beautiful memories with the original. i would have worn the hell out of this in highschool and gotten millions of compliments but now i have to debate whether i want random bursts of nostalgia sprinkled in my everyday cause this smells gorgeous enough to buy.

I always describe this perfume the same way: it smells like a fairy. This is one of the most unique perfumes I've ever smelled, it smells so light and whimsical and lovely. It has a short longevity and wears close to the skin, but it's a truly gorgeous, fresh fragrance that really smells like a fairytale.

Out of all of the Marc Jacobs perfume that I have, this is my favorite. It last longer compared to my 2 Marc Jacob perfume. This smells fresh and fruity, good for everyday use. It is not heavy and it is a comfortable scent for the nose. The beautiful Wisteria and Blackberry is interesting in my opinion

So many affectionate memories of this perfume. Reminds me of happy, simple, carefree and hopeful times. My everyday scent during high school. It smells like a shower fresh. Fruity, cozy, versatile, delicate. I feel like I’m floating on a cloud under a blue sky. Eternal blue world

One of my all time favorite fragrances! So far, this is the only Marc Jacobs Daisy that I have liked. Not too floral (just a hint), very fresh and slightly sweet and fruity. Easy to wear. Easily a daily wear! This is cheerful scent in my opinion. Love the bottle!

i love the smell of this perfume!! it’s fruity and sweet without smelling too sugary, it smells like a fruit candy. once the top notes fade it turns into a nice powdery floral smell. it’s a great fragrance, just wish the nice fruity smell lasted a little longer.

Lovely fresh, fruity perfume with pretty significant pear notes but not too sweet at all, which is a pro for me. Unfortunately it lasts all of five minutes on me (even in the summer) so it's something I've got to carry around in my purse and constantly re-spray.

This perfume really comes through in warm weather. The scent is simple, yet beautiful. I would describe it as floral rather than fruity, with the wisteria being the strongest note. It's perfect for everyday wear, well blended, with a calm, pleasant vibe to it.

A very simple, watery, blackberry-forward fragrance. Inoffensive, but definitely quite sweet. Gives me the vibe of someone young and carefree Sillage - Sits very close. Within arm's length. Longevity - Around 2hrs. Unfortunate, but typical for her it seems.

I love this perfume! It's everything I want in a freshie scent: floral, fruity and aquatic. The wisteria and coconut water stand out the most to me. This reminds me a lot of Versace Bright Crystal, just less soapy. Easy to wear, it's a really pretty scent.

Floral fresh and fruity. Wisteria is the main note to me. Sadly the perfomance is lacking which means the price is to steep even though the scent and bottle are gorgeous. It's my moms signature scent so I'll gift her bottles it the future.

This is probably my favorite scent ever, it smells sooo good, it's floral but very fresh and light and also has a citrus note. Sillage and longevity are kind of weak tbh :( but not that much tho, it's truly worth it.

Ugh! I love this perfume so much. To me it's a soft, fresh and calming perfume that's perfect for cold days or as a bedtime perfume. And just like other daisy or fresh-floral perfumes, it does not last very long.

Daisy dream could never go wrong and would never go out of style. I love the fruitness, the sweetness, the pinch of coconut at the dry down, honestly, I love everything about this perfume, from beginning to end.

I just recently discovered this scent and I am obsessed with it. It smells very light and pretty, not at all overwhelming. It's exactly what I've been looking for. I also think the bottle is so adorable!

Fruity and fresh!! Such a fun scent that reminds me of a Cyprus holiday. Absolutely loved it. More fruity than floral to my nose. I had it a few years ago and it would last quite long on me.

I did not expect to like this so much. It's sweet but light. I can smell all the fruits (+ coconut) and they're so comforting together. It feels like a hug from a friend. For all year round.

Generic? Maybe but I freaking love it. I the longevity could be better but I can wear this any time anywhere and for some reason it makes my boyfriend's mouth water.

Sits close to the skin and doesn't last long, but it's beautiful while it lasts. Daisy Dream is like a sunny, spring day when the air is just starting to warm up.

I love the smell of this, so light and refreshing to wear. as with most marc jacobs perfume i find, the performance is quite weak but it is a pretty scent.

My Lord, the best fresh, fruity, clean perfume I have ever used. It stays on my clothes and skin for so long, I love it.
