Daisy Eau So Fresh Skies

Lovely Spring and Summer fragrance. I've bought two bottles but I'm careful with my use as you can't buy them at retail anymore. To put simply, Eau so Fresh Skies is a bottle of Parma Violets. The classic British sweet that your grandparents gave you after school from the corner shop. The first time I sprayed this fragrance I was hit with a wave of intense nostalgia! It was love at first scent. If you don't have the nostalgia, you'd still enjoy the fun and playful floral notes with a sweet touch. I received the most compliments with this fragrance. Definitely recommend.

Daisy eau so fresh skies flanker is far superior to the original! This earthy tea blend sits close to the skin. Perfect for bright and light daytime wear! The note combination is phenomenal. It’s like sipping iced tea during a picnic on a sea side cliff! The tea and chamomile notes are front and center, grapefruit dashed in for zing, and cedar and tea tree to tie it all together. This develops very nicely and isn’t overpowering. Why is it that all the MJ flankers I adore end up being limited editions or discontinued?!

The original Daisy Eau So Fresh had a 'fabric softner' dry down for me, but Skies is just brilliant!! It's the most clean, fresh scent I have been able to wear in a long time. For me, the citrus does stand out, and I do not get tea tree or medicinal vibes at all. The only draw back for this scent is it really doesn't last very long

This perfume is a really happy, sweet scent. I love it in any season. It smells different to any of my other perfumes. It's a safe blind buy if you like Daisy or D&G Light Blue. I love it because it's not cloying, doesn't give me a headache, and isn't a heavy vanilla scent like so many other frags.

This scent is like taking an early morning run in the meditteranean woods during summer. This is my signature for some time and for me it represents calmness, neutrality and clarity. It is airy. I have Daisy Love Skies which is a tad different and aquatic.

Smells 98% like the eau so fresh Spring of the year before. I could hardly tell the difference really. Lovely perfume, though I wouldn't have bought it had I known it smelt almost identical to the Spring one.

I just bought this one (Dillards) and OMG it is a beautiful scent :) just fresher and a more citrus-oriented variation of the original eau so fresh. Loved it.

It's Daisy with a more citrus twist and with almost no strength. It stays very close to the skin and almost nonexistent after an hour. It's pretty, just not as loud. Could be good for someone who likes Daisy but think it's too juvenile and wants a fresh version for everyday. I am not getting any of the tea or gooseberry notes that I was excited for. Just a very generic citrus spring scent.

Violet is the strongest note to me. Luckily it is not heavy but light and gentle-probably because of the tea, which becomes more recognisable as dries down. It is perfect for spring and summer. It is a very delicate burst of freshness which is very enjoyable. Sillage is soft and longevity is only a few hours, but I guess that was the intention.

I assume it is not suppose to smell like a mans perfume? I bought it second hand, with no spraydevice. It smells much like a guyperfume. LIke someone has taken a spraydevice from a mans perfume, and then used it on this perfume. So the perfumes mixes in the bottle. Has someone been trough this? With any other perfume?

I had the same experience as @beauty_girl. Except, I found the spray device inside the box (seems it had fallen off or wasn't properly attached. I attached it and if thankfully fits and works). Considering that this version is no longer available in official retail shops, from the looks of it, we either have gotten mall pull out testers or packaging rejects. What I got seems to be the former, because I also got a similar whiff of men's cologne upon first few sprays but it died down fast. I'm guessing it's that kick of alcohol in freshly opened testers that come in low oil concentrated fragrances. I had a similar experience walking into a Gucci fragrance booth when the shop assistant opened a fresh tester for me to try. After introducing some air into it, I was finally getting the airy feminine notes. It's a very fresh, light and happy fragrance, with the top notes being most prominent. The chamomile is barely noticeable at first. But it starts showing up in the background upon the dry down along with the tea tree. Overall, it's a pleasant scent safe for everyday use. It actually comes off as a slightly more mature version of a happy, floral children's perfume. Great for picnics and quick summer brunch meetings.

This literally smells like dust polish to me. I own daisy and daisy love. Love those! This however, is a no go. If I want to smell like cleaner, I’ll spray pledge on myself.

I received a bottle from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I used to love the original Daisy perfume back when it first came out and was eager to smell this new, limited-edition scent. With notes of blue tea, chamomile, violet, and cedarwood I was expecting a fresh and clean scent with similarities to the original Daisy I once loved. Upon first application, this was an immediate no. This is a sweet and light herby floral but it fades down to an astringent scent that didn't wear well on my skin. Tea tree is listed in the base notes which may be the culprit. I won't be keeping this in my collection as it's something I'd absolutely never wear. The dry down reminds me of windex. It's an eau de toilette so the wear time was only about 3.5 hours on me if that. If you're a fan of tea fragrances this might be something you'd like but for me it's a hard pass.

I fell again for the positive reviews here and bought this based on the reviews, and I regret it; I found the perfume so disappointing. It has a very faint scent with minimal sillage and longevity. The fragrance is quite soft (not so fresh as it claims to be); it actually lacks character, reminding me of a children’s perfume. While the bottle is beautifully designed, I don't think the fragrance justifies the price. It’s surprising that some highly praised perfumes get mixed reviews, while others with less impact receive such high praise. I don’t believe the issue is with my sense of smell or taste in perfume, as I have a collection of (more than 100) perfumes that often receives compliments. This perfume, however, seems to be over-praised in the comments.

so just added this to my daisy garden as i like to call it lol & i love it !!! the eau so fresh version of skies is very light, airy , fresh, clean, & smooth - its a beautiful soft floral !! fits in really well with the rest of the daisy line this is very similiar to the daisy skies scent - so if u like that version u will love this :) i have to admit at first i was nervous cuz i saw the description with words like camphor, herbal, aromatic, woody & thought oh no will this smell like a wooden medicine chest lol - then i saw tea tree oil in the ingredients & again thought medicine vibe lol BUT in no way does it smell like anything close to medicine lol............i dont know how they did it but boy i would never describe it the way they did lol - its a beautiful soft smooth light floral - perfect for a spring day in the garden - a nice cool summer evening - or a refreshing day walk along a beachy trail - definitely doesnt fit its description lol the violet takes center stage on me & possibly the chamomille & broom flowers cuz i get a nice violet floral vibe - on me i do not get any grapefruit & i dont get cedar........... overall very happy with "skies" !!!! ps - i noticed there is no daisy dream skies - gee what happened there - dream skies would have been a perfect fit for the "skies" collection lol

This is the sweetest one out of the new trio of flankers and imo conforms the most closely to its motherscent. I was so excited by the suggestions of gooseberries, chamomile and TEA TREE OIL! It sounds like it should be... something moist and earthy. Sure, it may be aimed at teenagers, so what. Teenage girls are multidimensional, they don't want just sweet sweet sweet. I should know, I used to be one. Everyone has a tiktok now so they know of Frederic Malle. You can give ppl something more challenging... The og Daisy and now even the intense version are right there, people will buy it if they just want to smell like Daisy. It seems spineless to me to keep bringing out the same scent over and over again with a different colored cap. It doesn't smell bad but it is unnecessary.

Daisy Skies Eau So Fresh smells just like the original Daisy Eau So Fresh - except the Skies version does not have the strong litchi/quince note in it that makes Daisy Eau So Fresh smell similar to Chanel Eau Tendre. Similarly, Daisy Skies Eau So Fresh smells just like Daisy Twinkle Eau So Fresh - except the Skies version does not have the sweet violet note that Twinkle has. Daisy Skies Eau So Fresh is really a soft beautiful, white floral fragrance. So if you like soft white florals and if you dislike litchi/quince, you might really love this flanker Daisy Skies Eau So Fresh.

I sampled this yesterday and I loved the scent, it is the scent of 'nature' to me. It is very similar to the original Daisy on my skin, with the tea notes really coming through. Sadly the longevity isn't great for me, it lasted about 45 minutes before turning into a faint skinscent, then after about an hour and half it was completely gone. If I come across this for a great price, I will likely get it as I really do love the tea scent! And if it's cheap enough, I don't mind spraying often :)

On my skin it's very fresh and woody. I will say that it doesn't last long on my skin but I'm gonna play around with it and see. I do get the tea notes but the violet is there. This fragrance is like a clean fresh scent. I wasn't expecting this to be super long lasting. It's more like a skin scent perfume.

I really like it! It's super powdery and soft, sweet but not cloying. I feel like the gooseberry really comes through, especially in the opening. It's very close to the OG Daisy on me, just a bit more saturated almost, a bit stronger and sweeter, with a citrusy twist.
