Oh Lola! Sunsheer

This morning when I opened my eyes,I saw a box wrapped in gift paper and when I opened it,I saw a 1.7oz oh lola sunsheer in it! it's been a while that I want oh lola but I felt it's not fair to pay top dollars for it.finally there's no need to make my mind as my man decided to buy it's sunsheer flanker as a gift for me and I'm so happy that it's as if I had won a lattary.I always thought Marc Jacobs perfumes can be great gifts but I never though one day I'm going to receive one. I've just tested oh lola once and I couldn't see much if any differences between oh lola and oh lola sunsheer but a side by side test is needed to say it for sure Oh lola sunsheer is a light,delicate and fresh fruityfloral.it opens with sparkly fruity notes and delicate sweetness.if I didn't know it's notes I might say there's apple and a touch of citruses but now I can see that it's pear and a light touch of strawberry.pear isn't sugary delicious pear of lets say,Katy Perry meow.it's fresh,a bit green pear,more like a green apple.I can detect strawberry now that I know it's there but it's not strong and this is not a berry scent. Gradually it becomes a bit warmer and more sweet(but not to the point of being sugary or syrupy sweet)and florals start to shine.I can find traces of peony and magnolia but if I don't try hard to identify them,I'd see them as non descript,pretty florals. It's more about watery fruity notes(mostly pear)with a bit of freshness and a bit of sweetness during first hours.definitely nice but not memorable.what remains on skin as a very soft skin scent is delicately sweet florals and a hint of vanilla powder.it's very light,indeed sheer,in this stage with almost zero projection it's also very clean in a pretty and pleasant way. I can't name it an overly fruity scent but this is not an overly vanillary scent or a heavily floral scent either.asflowers are modern,youthful and tender.it's a harmony of flowers,fruits and powdery vanilla in the safest way possible It makes me think of a pretty,trendy and young cheek who comes from a rich and well educated family and is her mom and dad's little princess and school's miss perfect.people may think she's nothing but a characterless spoiled child but if you get to know her a bit more you can see she's romantic,innocent and sweet and can be a great friend. Oh lola sunsheer is a simple,modern,girly scent but it also smells kind of expensive and romantic.it's not unique,it's too much inoffensive bordering on being bland and boring but I have to mention that it's also balanced and nothing is overly done in it.it's feminine,pleasant and easy to wear.it's biggest downside is lack of strength,you can overspray it without sophocating anyone.I feel I have to try oh lola again because it must be stronger than it's sunsheer version About it's bottle,I adore it.I love all marc jacob's bottles but this is a work of art.it's so girly and dreamy. All in all a thumbs up from me.I need simple and tender,girly feminty as much as complex,earthshattering femme fatale powerhouses.a sheer summery dress with pink flowerprints,a heavy black leather jacket, and a red velvet gown,each can look perfect in their right situation

I sampled this at a store and after sniffing it on my wrist over and over I was just drawn to buy it. However, even after purchasing it, I'm still really unsure about this perfume. The bottle is absolutely adorable but the scent doesn't seem to mix with my skin well until about 1-2 hours in and by then it's almost disappeared. Very very light. Admittedly, I'm not really a Marc Jacobs fan at all so that may have something to do with it. I get a lot of compliments when I wear it. Definitely a more summer-y perfume. :)

A fruity floral, more fruity at the start, then mellows into the floral notes. I wouldn't guess that berries of any kind are the prominent fruit here. I detect more of the pear than any of the berries listed. There is a powdery note that develops that I truly love, but sadly it is quite faint. This is pleaseant but safe. If you want something that will wow you, this probably isn't it, but it is pretty and very wearable.

This one is the same exact one as the original- just a different bottle and color.

SunSHEER is right! This is isn't "sheer" in what you would think "softer' fragrance, it's just more watered down, bland, and stings the skin from the alcohol content. Nothing special other than the bottle, which I adore; I'll have to pass on this one.
