Chai Desert

I feel some soft smokiness in the background, maybe from the saffron, maybe because someone is heating the coffee right there, in a small fireplace improvised in the sand. I've spent a Christmas night in the Rub Al Khali desert a few years ago, and Chai Desert is what I had worn if I had it back in the day✨Great longevity and projection! This house never disappoint, their fragrances are so evocative and unique💯Update: After around 5 hours of wearing it, it's getting warmer and the vanilla more prominent, a smoky vanilla, like in Lost in the Desert (which is not plasticky at all to me, but burn woods with vanilla). The oud is definitely still in the background but very soft and smooth. It's warm, creamy and very long-lasting.

I have not smelled Lost in the Desert from this house but the Chai Desert fragrance has grown on me immensely. When I had first smelled/smelt this one I oversprayed not knowing it was an extrait. Its sharp, a bit ambiguously spicy and not too sweet, dries down to a WARM masculine musky/ambery, woodsy, spicy scent with the slightest amount of coffee on my skin. Really really really beautiful and spicy/sweet but not a gourmand. Layered with something sweeter, this provides a really incredible boost of complexity. Masculine, Natural, Warm, Spicy and Sweet woodsy scent. Really really really nice and subtle if one spray is spread across the skin. Edit: Full size bottle came in the mail, definitely needs to macerate a bit longer to reach the depth of the sample atomizer but the DNA is very much the same, it seems to get better every single day.

I mostly get pepper, synthetic oud, and a bit of vanilla. I'm not a fan of oud and so I don't feel I can rate this fairly. You do need to get past the opening, which is really pungent. The dry down is more pleasant if these notes are your thing.

This stuff is so Smokey and not chai like at all. It smells like gasoline. And lasts forever.

The Oud and saffron together gives a rubbery smell unfortunately for me. I can’t smell anything else... this could have been so good if they would have toned down the Oud and saffron and maybe added chia spices🤷🏼♀️

90% the same as Lost in the desert with a slight more preference on the vanilla note. Redundant to have both. Also weaker than Lost In the desert

A huge dose of oud and saffron.. wow... I get bandaids and antiseptic cleaner.. a big nope. 👎 I am very thankful I sampled first
