Om

Om, surprisingly is a fragrance that I liked. It is the first of Miller et Bertaux to prove he has a good duration and projection, as well as being very well done. If you like very spicy fragrance with an Oriental background it is a must. Clove and especially the pink pepper is the main protagonist of this story, all these spices are wrapped in a soft, warm cloud of incense and fill many, many, myrrh that conveys much body and richness to Om, creciendose during in drying, low to high quality. Curiously is not a burdensome or overwhelming fragrance so surprised that nice balance especially pink pepper if you spend concentration can be annoying, yes, by contrast feels quite linear, so it could bore a little. In short, a great and worthy Miller et Bertaux work I recommend. Rating: 7

Almost can’t believe Om hasn’t been reviewed yet, as it is one of my loves. Incense-ee yet lifted, a bit of green, frankincense, clove, peppercorn, a layer of sweet, too...myrrh? Some under-smoke, then the slightest bit of skank appears, (just to round it out!), and the whole of it approaching creamy. Beautifully blended. I would even say elegant (even the bottle’s a charmer). Have not smelled anything like it. Inspire... and smile...(its subtitle), indeed. On me it lasts and lasts. One of my rare full bottles.

Maybe I bought into the name, but I wear Om when I want to fell calm and relaxed. It gives me the kind of zen vibe I associate with an Eastern style (and incense heavy) retreat, spa, or class / workshop. To me, it's quite a bitter smelling (in a good way), incensy, even herbal type of a scent, with some spice to it. All blended in such a way that it helps to soothe the senses.

Wonderful perfume: it's smoky and spicy, but not harshly so, it's a soft oriental. I'd describe it as powdery and clean, and I mainly get myrrh, incense, and cloves from it, with a hint of patchouli. No separate vanilla note here, just slight and soft overall sweetness. Very inspiring indeed, calm and natural. I highly recommend it to both sexes.

I recently acquired this, almost accidentally, and so I haven't been in much of a rush to try it out, however, I'm pleased to say that I quite enjoy it! I might not have sought it out normally, and I may not have hunted for a sample of it (based on the notes), but the scent works as a unified perfume and it does everything it's meant to do... A spicy myrrh, rounded off with some patchouli really works well and I could see myself enjoying this one now and then. There is a sweetness that lurks just off in the background, and it's a pleasant smell all round. I'm a fan!

This is a very pleasant and light unisex scent with dominant pepper, myrrh, soft & light herbs/florals ie not common flowers but a kind of green florals. Quite versatile, easy to wear, suitable for spring, early fall and summer evenings. Smooth & refined. Low-moderate performance overall.

Things that make you say "Om". Although the cloves come in droves, this is probably the softest fragrance I've tried pertaining the combo of myrhh, patchouli, and vanilla. There isn't a note so towering to the point where you would reflect on Om's importance. Personally, i would've enjoyed the incense as a 2 alarm blaze rather than this lethargic smoke signal. If you're not gonna be great, at least be interesting......
