Tuberosa

I love white florals. Jasmine and Tuberose in particular. They made you feel special. Especially where i live; a hot tropical climate. The creamy projection introduces an uplifting state of mind for me. My first tuberose centered perfume is Do son by Diptyque, which for me was intoxicating. I was in tuberose heaven. Read the review of legendary Fracas and Carnal Flower, wish I have the chance to experience them. Own a few bottle of Miller Harris, notice that her signature is the sweetness on every perfume she creates. I like the "center" smell of almost all of her perfume. It's somewhat very delicate to the nose and yet strong in protruding their creator's message. You cant seem to have enough. Tuberosa lasted a good 12 hours on me. Still projecting her creamy notes after a whole day at work. Its tuberose is sweet, raw and almost animalic. Against Do Son which have 7-8 hours of silage but the perfume changes from the fresh honeyed tuberose to a bit powdery on the dry down. Its probably not fair to compare against my EDP Tuberosa and my EDT Do Son, but I feel there's a need to have a base for my comparison. Tuberosa runs linear on me. Most people will notice you even with 2 spray - just smile. I like the presentation in overall, from the box to the bottle. Not so much on the price. I owned a few sample of Tubereuse 3 by Histoiries de Parfums. Very animalic and addictive, but wouldnt call it total/centered base tuberose perfume, but worth to look them up. I remember the smell even after. Not something you can easily forget. Queen of the night indeed.

I found two Miller Harris perfumes at TJ Maxx and snapped them up: this one and La Feuille. I sprayed them both in the car. La Feuille was a dream: creamy floral with a hint of green, just gorgeous. Tuberosa was also dreamy: golden, sweet, creamy. I was thrilled with my find. A couple of days later, I put La Feuille on and it was pure tomato leaf. Nothing else. TOMATO LEAF. No milky floral...no hint of green...just a strong blast of something I'm not that into. I sprayed several sprays into the air (like 20), waited a few days, tried again, and still nothing but tomato leaf. Bad bottle? I tried the Tuberosa with apprehension but it was still the same luscious rendition of tuberose. Nevertheless, I returned them both, worried that the batches were old, or Tuberosa would go in the direction of La Feuille the next time I chose to wear it. Fast forward a month and while perfume shopping at the mall I kept drifting to fragrances heavy on tuberose. I kept thinking about the lovely one I had returned. Nothing smelled as happy as that Miller Harris interpretation. I stopped at TJ Maxx on the way home and there was my Tuberosa! On clearance! The same creamy sweet buttery happy floral. It is one of my favorite perfumes, it lifts my mood, and I reach for it on rainy days, busy days, and important days when I need a lift. Highly recommend.

A rare handful of times in my perfumer collecting career I have purchased a bottle and immediately bought a back up. This is one of them. This is tuberose to the Nth degree, naughty bits included. It is unctuous and indolic almost to the point of being rancid. It’s salty, sweet, fatty but so perfectly balanced. To me, it is utterly intoxicating. It is a neon white tuberose, naturalistic but with the volume and intensity on blast. And it’s bright white the whole way through, unlike many if not most tuberose centric perfumes. Another reviewer mentioned Bridget Bardot, and I agree. This perfume is unapologetically, even brazenly, curvy and sexy without having to try. One of my favorite tuberose fragrances.

This is a gorgeous tuberose fragrance. I can see why someone smells a similarity with Andy Tauer Flash Tuberose. The similarity is very obvious at the start but then they diverge. Tuberosa quickly gets more buttery and much softer within the 1st half hour. Tuberosa isn't as strong as Andy Tauers. I definitely detect the sambac jasmine and neroli. There is also a creaminess which I will guess is the work of the musk. Tuberose can be a tough note to wear but here MH has created quite an easy to wear tuberose. Moderate silage and longevity.

I didn’t expect much from the fragrance given the previous reviews but oh my- this is like an aphrodisiac for me. The way I can describe it is a perfect balance between- sexy, flowery, clean and dirty scent. I guess it just works really well with my skin! I can smell the tuberose, gently supported by the indole and a sexy almost a clean sweaty beach smell if that makes any sense 😃 Think about the smell of the sheets on your first day in the hotel after having a mid-afternoon romp on your beach holiday. Definitely love at first sniff!

Salty, savory, white floral. I'm reminded of both Island Gardenia and Fracas, though this is much higher quality than Island Gardenia. Not green at all, but not tropical or coconut-y either. I agree with reviews that mention this has a warm, bodily skank aspect to it. It's slightly animalic, but still easy to wear casually in the daytime. I get more gardenia than tuberose from this, weirdly enough, but I like it quite a lot.

When I first tried this I really didn’t like it. It had something to it that threw me off. I decided to try it again and it’s transformed and created an almost savory+floral scent on my skin. I’m loving it now. I actually crave that strange undertone I get. It’s creamy on my skin. Heavy not sharp and bright with a twang of something I just can’t put my finger or nose as it were on. Very interesting and yummy tuberose.

This is a beautiful tuberose soliflore. This is tuberose done right. There is indole in the fragrance but it is only slight to my nose, just enough to know that it is a living flower and not synthetic. The flower is creamy, heady and intoxicating just like the living flower. This was a blind buy for me and I am glad I took the risk. If you love tuberose try to score a bottle of this perfect tuberose solifore.

Miller Harris Tuberosa is a sweet, bright and rosy, fruity tuberose. I think my expectations were a bit high given the packaging, descriptions and price. I'm an admirer of Lyn Harris and a handful of her creations have made their way onto my 'like' and 'love' shelves, but I don't find this one very captivating. I should mention that I'm a bit of a tough customer and I'm always on the lookout for my perfect fit tuberose perfume. This is not it. It's apparent that Tuberosa is very well made and it smells natural. It opens in a popular, bright and fruity style and stays that way for several hours. Mandarin, rose and ylang ylang are detectable although masterfully blended with the tuberose. I'm not getting much indole, a light touch of camphor perhaps. And there's nothing animalic, carnal or erotic here as far as I'm concerned. During the softer musky far dry down, if I sniff very hard I think I can smell an opulent, plump and lovely soapy non-sweet real tuberose flower, but then it's gone. Oh, if only I could have that gorgeous, fleeting smell from beginning to end! Ah well, never mind. Sillage is radiant for a good couple of hours. Longevity, up to nine hours. This is a quality composition that smells very natural, so, if you like your tuberose happy, sweet and fruity then it's definitely worth a try.

This was a blind buy for me. I excitedly opened the beautiful box, it’s made to look like a book ( from the “library “ of perfumes ). I sprayed , it s was soft ,a little camphorated. It reminded me, ever so slightly , of SL Tunerose Criminelle. A few seconds later that note evaporated and my disappointment began. The perfume turned sweet and creamy, probably because of Ylang. It didn’t seem indolic like Diptique’s Olene, or fecal like Fracas can be , or heavy and sticky like the Tuberose from Illuminum . It was brigh, sunny, creamy and happy. No drama here. The queen that blooms so rarely is turned into a plain beauty that seemed a little boring. I Immediately listed my bottle for swap. But overnight I sprayed it on my hands again, I went to bed and I could not stop sniffing my hands. Somehow the warmth of my bed made it evolve into this slightly animatic and buttery flower, lovely and addictive I wanted more. So I decided to keep it after all . My conclusion ? Give it time. Let it develop. It has no drama and little complexity , but it is so natural and feminine it just says elegance and beauty. The lasting power was average for me, better on clothes, with gentle, medium silage. It is not loud and obnoxious like Tuberose can often appear. Lovely, happy, elegant.

Miller Harris surprised me as I usually struggle with this line..I've never been a floral type but I really appreciate this approach to tuberose.Tuberosa is one of the most beautiful tuberose scent I have ever smelled. A superior quality buttery tuberose scent, so natural , so well crafted. This is even better than the legendary Fracas. Thick tuberose, tropical with only just a hint of sweetness. Amazing staying power and medium sillage.Exceptional!

It's nice but far more demure on me than the other reviewers? It's very similar to the tuberose in Narcotic V. There is a TINY bit of indolic action and a little bit of my sweet sweet menthol but its mostly sparkly peach. Really expected some stank after reading berrypraline below but on me this is so clean it's honestly a little bit soapy. It's okay, if you're looking for a stanky tuberose diva honestly I would say try something else; this one is just another sparkly-fruity tuberose.

Well..as far as tuberoses go, its not my favourite. It has a strange off note running through it that to me clashes with the essential tuberose scent. There are a plethora of better, realer tuberoses out there. Funnily enough Miller Harris have made one of my very favourites, Noix de Tuberose, which is a nutty cognaccy tuberose blend and infinitely better than this. Love the presentation ‘book’ box though.

This is a beautiful floral fragrance. It's a buttery tuberose on the line of Michael Kors and Fracas though much lighter than both. I don't know why there is such a fuss about the supposed dirty notes in this fragrance. I don't get anything animalic or indolic, but it's not a fresh and clean perfume either as there is something almost a little salty running beneath. I guess some could equate that with sweat, but I don't. To me it smells like a real tuberose with all the traits of a real flower but much more reserved than the two perfumes I mentioned. I'm actually a little disappointed to find that it isn't as provocative as I thought it would be. Reading through the reviews had me excited to try it as I thought it would be but it's not. It's actually a high quality, very classy and versatile fragrance. While I do appreciate the beauty of it, I don't love it simply because I am not the biggest fan of buttery fragrances like the above mentioned. But if you do like that, you are sure to like, if not love this.

Mistakes were made. I do not enjoy this fragrance at all. The box and bottle are stunningly beautiful but the juice is not. 😭 It reminds me of Fracas, which I also heavily dislike. -

This tuberose scent to my nose is appalling. There's something off putting(leather-like) about the flowers used in this frag that just does not agree with my nose.

Holy f**k. This smells like a dirty car tire was slathered in “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter”, some chives were thrown on top, and then it was all baked in the oven on low heat. A previous reviewer called this “appalling”, and that’s actually the perfect word for it, in my opinion. I sprayed one spray on my forearm, let it dry for a minute, then innocently took my first sniff. I am not exaggerating, I almost fainted. Then, I actually started laughing really hard at how shockingly nuts (literally like, many-weeks unwashed dude nuts) this scent is. Thirty minutes later though, I still haven’t washed it off, because it’s interesting that something can smell this bad without actually smelling fecal. I’m going to keep my little decant of Tuberosa. Not to wear, but just because it’s terribly fascinating. UPDATE: Seeing that a recent reviewer said this smelled like Narcotic V. to their nose has made me wonder if perhaps this perfume doesn’t “keep” over time, and maybe the decant I was sold had gone spoiled basically? Because I recently sampled Narcotic V. and I thought that fragrance was beautiful. If Tuberosa is supposed to smell like that, then the only explanation I can think of is that my sample was expired or damaged somehow.

بسیار رویاییه رایحه این عطر کافیه اسپری اش کنین و به تماشای خورشید بنشینید که از لابه لای درختان پر از گل و شکوفه و بوته های عطرآگین ِ بهار بهتون سلام کنه ، فضای لاکتونی ِ روشن ، شیرین و کره ای و‌ خامه ای ، فضای میوه ای و سبزِ تیبروزا حس فوق العاده خوشایندی داره ، روی دیگر این عطر ، ایندولیک به شکلی تلطیف شده و مدرن ، کمی انیمالیک و مشکی ، ‌شهوانی و شور و خاکی که به مشام من اوکموس و شکوفه پرتقال هم به این فضای خاص دامن می زنن به خصوص در بخش آغازین رایحه ، سست می شوید از بو کشیدن این مریم لطیف و شیرین و شهوانی و در عین حال معصوم ، معصومیتی در اوج تمنا و کشش ، معصومیتی در نهایت ِ غریزه و خواهش ، برهنگی ای پوشیده با پیراهنی از گل های زرد و سپید ، آغوشی آغشته به شیره ی بهار... به تدریج هر چه از ابتدا به انتهای عطر نزدیک می شیم رایحه ملایم تر لطیف تر شیرین تر و خوردنی تر می شه و البته برهنه تر و بی پروا تر ، به آهستگی در آغوش ات می کشد و آغشته ات می کند و و در نهایت سرمستی و لاقیدی واژه ی پوچ و خالی ِ معصومیت رو به سخره می گیرد ، عشق بازی ای که سرانجام اش به رؤیا ختم می شود... تیبروزا خط بوی عالی ، پخش قوی و ماندگاری بالایی داره و این پرفورمنس خوب به هیچ وجه آزاردهنده و خسته کننده نیست حتی زمانی که فول ور می کنین 8 از 10

"Buck Naked Tuberose" That's my Turin/Sanchez review of Miller Harris Tuberosa. And while I imagine this will be an ugly duckling for many, I actually love it. Miller Harris Tuberosa is the study of the tuberose plant, as if we are studying it's existence as a living, breathing, reproducing and dying plant. It's vegetal and somewhat decaying. I think of a Georgia O'Keefe painting of a giant tuberose. Raw, fleshy and sexy ugly. It gets musky in the base. You might call this creamy, but it's more along the lines of musky and vegetal. The buttery white floral does rise up throughout the day but I would never call this beautiful in a pageantry sort of way, I'd call this shockingly avante garde. Only for die hard tuberose fans who have enjoyed things like MPG Tubereuse, TF Velvet Gardenia (discontinued) SL Tubereuse Criminelle and even L'Artisan Tubereuse (discontinued). Artistic. This is for those who have advanced degrees in Tuberose Sniffing. Also it’s really sexy, musky and addictive.

عطری به غایت زیبا . ترکیبی روح نواز از بوی گل مریم و یاس . کمی ایندولیک کلاس بویایی عطر مثل عطرهای یک دهه قبل هست . و خبری از وضوح یا شارپنس روایح مریم و یاس مثل عطرهای امروزی نیست که خیلی به طبیعت بوی گل نزدیک باشه اما بطور کلی توبروزا حس نمیچه کلاسیک با خلوص بالا از طراوت بوی مریم و یاس رو به نمایش میزاره . تو قلب عطر بوی مریم و یاس ادغام میشند و من ازش بوی نرولی هم میگیرم . ی عطر کاملا فمینن با اکوردی نسبتا کمپلکس از گلهای سفید کیفیت عطر مثل همه عطرهای میلر واقعا بالاست . رایحه بسیار زیباست . مثل پرتره از یک عروس با لباسی از ساتن و حریر سفید و بک گراندی از جنگلی سبز ‌. ماندگاریش روی پوست عالیه و پخش بو تا یکی دو ساعت اول عالیه . بعدش تقریبا اسکین سنت میشه . ولی نبض رایحه تا ساعتها میتپه ... با عطرهای مریم محور مثل آیرس توبروز کرید و کارنال فلاور تقریبا فاصله داره . و این عطر تا حدودی منو بیاد ادن کاشارال انداخت . قطعا ارزش خریدش بالاست از نظر من ‌👌 و ی پیشنهاد با کیفییته برای کسانی که عاشق بوی گل مریم و یاس هستند ‌. .
