The Wild Man

This is just amazing. Owning both Dior Sauvage and Versace Dylan Blue, while this shares similarities with both, it plays in a league of its own. In the best possible meaning. I think it is more balanced and sexy. While Sauvage ends being overwhelming and rude, when Dylan medicinal tones deliver restraint and coldness: this seems to strike the perfect balance of the ingredients. Bravo to the nose Julie Pluchet for the masterful potion. I know she had supplied recipe for the new version “The Land Man”. Truth to be told, the once upon glorious Morris - Perfumes Holding In Parma, has undergone dire financial straits but now employees should have relieved it (heavily downsized - but still there!). I do hope soon these products will become more widely available as used to offer possibly the best quality for the money ever (and I say it with all possible gravity). Long live Nuovi Profumi Morris!

Originally from Italy, I got a bottle of this fragrance in 2019 from a small boutique in Rome for a fairly reasonable price. I love the scent when I first tried it and wore this frag most of the time we were in Europe. It was only when we got back to the states that I realized some familiarity. Maybe the best way to describe this scent is if Montblanc Explorer and Dior Sauvage has a baby, this would be it. Not a bad fragrance but needs to amp it’s performance and longevity. It’s good to have this under my Italian collection. It also has a sentimental connection to me since it was the first time for me and my wife to visit Europe especially Italy. Unfortunately, you can’t buy it anywhere here in the US. “Let us spread the scents of peace and kindness. The two most beautiful fragrance in the world that will cost you nothing and will get you a totally different kind of compliments” 🙏
