Sinfonia

SINFONIA is a seductive saffron scent that captivates the senses. Like an orchestra of finely tuned notes; Sinfonia opens with top notes of leathery, lightly bitter and spiced saffron, earthy and aromatic black pepper, oriental notes, and lightly sweet fruity notes. The opening concerto is loud and vibrant, spicy and peppery with leathery and sweet touches. When the heart notes begin to play, I perceive notes of plush, lemony Turkish rose, peppery aromatic sage, and a creamy carnation, along with an ineffable sweetness which produces a complex, pillowy and textural floral bouquet. The heart rendering its composition more delicate and feminine. It now becomes a truly unisex fragrance. When the lemony freshness of the rose starts to soften, the florals become more powdered and dainty. They make way for the final arrangement of base notes of earthy cypriol, sueded supple leather, vanillic amber, a clean patchouli and soft musk. Adding further depth, warmth and richness to the composition. The deep dry down does play intimately, however. You will smell incredible and be very alluring in close encounters. So dare I say this is office appropriate. This is not at all like Baccarat Rouge 540 apart from sharing the note of saffron. This is an impressive spicy floral amber with a focus on saffron with a sueded leather musk dry down. I get moderate performance with 6-8 hours wear. It’s quite loud at first and then softens to a skin scent around the two hour mark. A must-try for lovers of saffron and sensual, captivating fragrances!
